How Do I Set Up a New Bill Pay Payee with TD Bank?

To set up a new bill payment, log in to your account and tap Bills and then Pay Bills. Select the Payee you want to add, enter the amount and tap Ongoing for recurring payments. Select a start date and end date. Tap Pay Bill to confirm the payment schedule and view the messaging confirming it.

You can set up a new bill payment using the TD Bank app. Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account and select Bills. 
2. Tap Pay Bills and select the Payee you want to add. 
3. Enter the amount, and choose the TD account you want to use for the payment. 
4. Under How Often, tap Ongoing. 
5. Choose a start date for your recurring payment along with the payment frequency. 
6. Select when you want the recurring payment to end, and tap Continue to review your schedule. You can always correct it if you make a mistake. 
7. Tap Pay Bill to confirm the recurring schedule and to view the messaging confirming the payment schedule. 

If you can't find the payee on your payee list, you may need to visit the branch to add the payee. The limit for payments to your personal payee is up to $5,000. 

How to Edit a Scheduled Bill Payment

If you want to change something about your recurring bill payments, go to the app to edit the information. Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account and select Bills.
2. Tap View All to see your list of scheduled payments. 
3. Choose the payment you want to edit and tap Edit on the top right. 
4. Update or edit the information. 
5. Tap Continue to review and select Update Payment. 

Paying a Bill Using the App

You can also do a manual bill payment on the app. Follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account and select Bills. 
2. Tap Pay Bills and choose the Payee from the list. 
3. Input the amount and select the account you want to use. 
4. Confirm the amount and select the date of payment. 
5. Tap Continue to review and select Pay Bill to confirm your payment.
