What Do I Do If I Forgot My nTelos Wireless Puk Number?
If you entered your nTelos Wireless SIM card's PIN wrong too many times, your phone has been locked as a security measure. You need your nTelos Wireless PUK number to unlock it. Solution #1: Look on the Card
There's a good chance that the PUK is recorded on the large plastic card your SIM came attached to. It's 8 digits long and should be labeled "PUK." If you can't find it, look for scratchable areas on the card, like those on a lottery ticket. If you find one, scratch it with a coin, and you should reveal your PUK number.
Solution #2: Contact nTelos Wireless
If you can't get your PUK that way, the next thing to try is to contact nTelos Wireless. Explain what's happened to the customer service representative and ask for the PUK. You will need to answer some security questions to prove your identity, such as your personal and account information, so have that on hand if you don't have it memorized.
Solution #3: Get a New SIM Card
If you can't get your PUK from nTelos Wireless for some reason, or if the one you are given doesn't work, then there's only one thing left to do: contact nTelos Wireless and order a new SIM card. This probably means getting a new phone number, and any information you had stored on your old SIM will be lost, but you don't have any other choice at this point.
