my ring doorbell doesn't ring on the inside

If your Ring Doorbell is not ringing inside your home, ensure that your chime is compatible with the device. Check that it's connected properly and that the volume settings are correct. Additionally, verify that your doorbell has a stable Wi-Fi connection. Restarting both the Ring Doorbell and your chime can often resolve issues. If the problem persists, check for any software updates through the Ring app.

When I open Ring, it wants me to verify my account. It wants my email and password, which I have forgotten. So when I type in the wrong password, it just says Incorrect Password without giving me the option to get a new password.

If you're being prompted for your email and password but can't remember your password, look for a "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in page. By clicking on that, you'll be able to reset your password and regain access to your account. If you're not seeing that option, try clearing your browser's cache or using a different device or browser to see if that helps.

I only have one camera as I had to replace the one I had due to a storm so I only want to pay monthly for one camera and not two

You can manage your Ring Protect subscription to cover only the devices you actively use. If you have one camera, you can select a plan that suits your needs for that single device. This way, you'll only pay for what you need without incurring costs for additional devices you no longer own.

How do I hook my ring doorbell camera up to an existing chime

To connect your Ring Doorbell to an existing chime, ensure that your doorbell is compatible with the chime. Then, follow these steps: Turn off the power to your doorbell at the breaker. Remove your existing doorbell and connect the wires to your Ring Doorbell. Use the provided wire connectors if needed. Attach the Ring Doorbell to the mounting bracket and restore power at the breaker. Follow the instructions in the Ring app to complete the setup and test the chime. Make sure the volume is set appropriately for your chime to ensure you hear notifications.

Why can't I get into my account using my updated password from Ring?

If you're unable to access your account with your updated password, ensure that you're entering the correct password and that Caps Lock is not on. Sometimes, it helps to reset the password again. Additionally, check if there are any typos or issues with your email address. If you continue to experience problems, there could be an issue with the account itself.
