Two-factor authorization is a security feature that lets you add an extra layer of protection to your account. Marcus by Goldman Sachs accounts can have up to three devices authorized at any time. If you do not want to log in from the device again after the initial login with two-factor authorization, remove it from your list of authorized devices before adding another device. To set up two-factor authorization on your Marcus by Goldman Sachs account, follow these steps:
You can find the login page by clicking the Login button at the top right of your screen. You can also click the Login button in the top right corner of any page.
Next, enter your user ID and password. It is how you access your account and make changes, such as adding two-factor authentication or changing your security questions.
To navigate the settings menu, you will need to locate a button on your screen that is labeled Settings. This button is located in the top right corner of any page of your Marcus by Goldman Sachs account.
Once you have found this setting, click it, and it will take you to a new window where you can adjust your security settings for two-factor authentication.
First, log in to your account to set up two-factor authorization. To do this, click on the Manage Security option on the top right of your screen. Once you do so, you will see a page with all your account information.
Click on the Activate button under Create/Update Security Questions. The system will prompt you with a series of questions that you can use to verify your identity and reset your password if necessary.
You can now use two-factor authentication when signing in from a new device via text message, voice call, or a secure code generator.
After clicking Activate Now -- you'll see a prompt with a series of questions to verify your identity and reset your password if necessary.
Click Continue once you've completed the security questions, and a confirmation screen will appear. You can now log in to your account.
Navigate to the Manage Security Settings section on your account summary page and select authentication from the menu.
Click on the Manage Security Settings section on your account summary page. You will see a screen that asks you to choose if you want to use text messages or verification codes with Google Authenticator. If text messages, click Yes and follow the next steps. If not, click No and continue.
Enter your mobile phone number where prompted and select which method of verification code generation would be best for you.
If SMS is your option for receiving two-factor authentication codes sent via text messages, enter your mobile phone number again for confirmation.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
