To sell stocks on Marcus by Goldman Sachs, you must first log in to your Investing account. If you don't have an Investing account and you can open one.
If you're unsure of your login details, visit the login page and click "Forgot Password?" You will receive a six-digit code to the email address associated with your account. Once received, enter it in the required field and then click Send.
Choose the stock you want to sell. To do this, click on the Sell tab and choose View my portfolio. You can search for your desired stock by name or ticker symbol.
Select the sell option. You find the sell option in the top right corner of your screen, under the drop-down menu, or on the right side of your screen. If you don't see these options, your account may not have enough funds to sell shares.
Click on Select Account. Click on the drop-down menu next to From and select the account to sell from.
You'll return to the main page where your accounts will be listed. Select which one you want by clicking its name and proceed by clicking "Continue."
Once you have completed the steps to sell your shares, you will receive an email confirming the order. You can also check your order status online by logging in to your Marcus account and viewing "My Account" or "Transactions."
When you complete the sale, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to access your account. This message will include information on how many shares you sold and the value of those shares at the time of sale.
