Introduction

Were you approved for TSA PreCheck but forgot to include your Known Traveler Number (KTN) in your JetBlue Airlines booking? If you have a JetBlue account, simply sign in and add your KTN to your profile. You can also use the Manage Trips page to save your number to an existing reservation. With TSA PreCheck, eligible passengers can generally keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on during security screening. Sign In to Your JetBlue Account

Enter your login credentials to access your JetBlue account. No account yet? We recommend creating one so you won't have to enter your KTN every time you book a JetBlue flight.

Click Profile & Settings

Once signed in, click Profile & Settings. You can save your KTN in this section.

Add Your KTN

Once you're on the Profile page, just scroll down to Travel Documents. Then click Add beside Known Traveler Number.

Enter Your KTN and Click Save

Be sure to enter the correct KTN, then click Save. Once you save the number to your profile, you won't need to enter it every time you book a JetBlue flight. If you have a TrueBlue profile, you can also save your KTN there. When you book a flight using your TrueBlue account, your saved KTN should automatically be added to your reservation.

Use JetBlue's Manage Trips Page

You can also add your KTN using the Manage Trips page. Just enter your last name and ticket number or confirmation code to access your reservation. To add your KTN, go to More and Traveler Details and type your number. As mentioned, we recommend creating an account so you don't have to add your KTN on the Manage Trips page or at check-in.

After adding your KTN, check your boarding pass for the TSA PreCheck indicator. If it doesn't appear, you may have entered your KTN incorrectly. Make sure your KTN is correct, and your TSA PreCheck enrollment is still valid. If you entered the wrong KTN and have already checked in, you may need to cancel your check-in, return to the Manage Trips page, and update your KTN. Then, check in again and obtain a new boarding pass.

Please note that if you have multiple itineraries, you will need to enter your KTN separately for each reservation. Your KTN doesn't automatically apply to flights booked under different reservations. To avoid entering your KTN every time you book a flight, consider saving it to your JetBlue profile instead.
