What is J. Crew's return policy for sale items?

J. Crew's return policy for sale items allows customers to return them within 30 days of purchase. The items must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip. Sale items should be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, including all tags and packaging. If the original receipt is not available, J. Crew will issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price. Refunds for sale items will be credited in the original form of payment. However, if the payment was made using PayPal or a gift card, J. Crew will issue store credit for the returns. Final sale items, such as swimwear, underwear, and personalized or monogrammed items, are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty.
