Does Dollar General Pay for Shipping on Returns or Exchanges?

Placing an order on Groupon takes longer to process than many other sites. If your order says processing, it may be due to a payment issue or an issue with the manufacturer. You should try cancelling your order and making a new order with a different method of payment. Otherwise, you can wait or contact Groupon customer service.

Why Does My Groupon Order Say It's Still Processing?

Groupon is an electronic commerce marketplace based in Chicago that connects customers with local businesses. By shopping on the site, you get amazing deals and discounts.

All you have to do to buy an item from Groupon is place an order but sometimes, the order may take a while to be processed. Group on orders take slower than orders on major sites and may sometimes take up to 20 minutes to be processed.

Therefore, when you place an order on Groupon, you should leave the screen bare for as long as is needed for the order to be processed. During this time, the order will usually be labeled as ‘processing.'

Reasons Why Your Order is Still Processing

There are many cases of Groupon customers stating that their order is still being processed after a long time. It is usually due to two things: either your payment wasn't processed or the problem is with the manufacturer of the product you ordered on the other end.

If the order says it is still processing because of an issue with your payment, Groupon will continue to try to process the order for the next 24 hours after which they will cancel your order. When your order is cancelled, it will not be labelled as ‘processing' any more but as ‘failed.'

If there is an issue with your payment, you can either wait for the next day or contact Group on customer service. You may also contact your credit card company or whichever method you used to pay.

There is also another alternative if payment is the issue which is cancelling the order and then making the order again with a different form of payment. If you do not cancel your first order, you may find yourself billed twice for the same order.

Cancelling the Order

You can cancel an order from Groupon in two ways depending on whether you are using the desktop site or the mobile app.

The procedure for cancelling an order through the desktop site is as follows:

  1. Launch your web browser.
  2. Click on ‘Sign In' on the site's homepage.
  3. Input the necessary details and log in to your account.
  4. Once in your account, click the down arrow besides your account name for the drop down menu.
  5. From the menu, click ‘My Groupons.'
  6. You will be presented with a list of your Groupon orders. Select the order that you would like to cancel.
  7. Click ‘View Details' next to the order.
  8. Click ‘Cancel Order.'
  9. Confirm order cancellation.

If you are cancelling an order from the Groupon mobile app, then the process is as follows:

  1. Open the Groupon mobile app.
  2. Log into your account if not logged in.
  3. Select ‘My Stuff.'
  4. Tap ‘Select All.'
  5. Select ‘All.'
  6. Locate the order you would like to cancel and select it.
  7. Tap ‘Cancel Order.'
  8. Confirm order cancellation.

If it is an issue with the manufacturer, then it means that they have not provided Groupon with the tracking information on your order. If your order still says processing after 24 hours then the manufacturer is most likely the problem.

It could be that the manufacturer is having trouble shipping the order. It may also mean that the order has shipped but the manufacturer is having trouble relaying the information to Groupon.

Groupon can do little to help you with manufacturer troubles though they will try their best to ensure that the item is shipped as soon as possible.

If you have any issues with your order, contact Groupon customer service as soon as possible.
