Cryptocurrency is a convenient and interesting way to start investing. You can start out small and still watch your funds grow. If your account shows the wrong balance, don't worry. First, clear out the cache and refresh the platform to resolve any technical issues, but you may need to verify your transaction history before reaching out to customer service.
Cryptocurrencies may date back as far as 2004, but today there are many exchange forums available to choose from. One forum, Binance.US, offers a variety of options to its users including the buying, selling, and trading of cryptocurrency. You can also withdraw your crypto into your bank account or another digital wallet. Many people have questions when it comes to cryptocurrency and you will learn how to deal with one issue that can happen in the world of digital currency.
There can be different explanations if this happens to you, but the most common reason is a technical issue that prevents the platform from updating correctly. You may want to check your transaction history for any pending transactions as they may not be reflected in your balance. If you don't have any pending transactions, clearing your browser or app's cache may resolve the problem.
It's important to note that Binance owns two platforms, Binance.com and Binance.US. There's not much information available on their similarities but it's assumed the platforms follow the same user experience.
Binance has a feature where the platform will immediately credit your account if you make a deposit via ACH or debit card, but the funds will be on hold for up to 10 days while the deposit clears your bank account. If you notice your balance is incorrect, please verify the deposit amount in your transaction history before reaching out to Binance.US customer service.
If you use the wrong TAG, memo, or payment ID on the Binance.com platform, your deposit won't be credited. Forgetting to use these labels will also result in your deposit not being honored. You'll need to recover your assets via the recovery form located in the wallet tab.
Please also keep in mind that Binance.US cannot accept all assets, including those from unsupported networks. One of the best practices you can start is to verify the assets are supported before making transferring a small amount as a test.
If you run into any problems, please reach out to Binance.US customer support here, who are available anytime.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Binance in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What Do I Do If My Binance Account Has the Wrong Balance? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
