Returning items online can feel overwhelming and confusing. If you've recently made a purchase with Asos and need to return it, follow these simple steps.
ASOS (AsSeenOnScreen) is an online British fashion retailer. The company sells clothes, makeup, and accessories for men and women. Founded in 2000, the organization now sells over 850 brands and ships to 196 countries.
If you have recently purchased an item on ASOS that you wish to return, you have the ability to do so.
As of April 2019, ASOS has updated its return policy to be as hassle-free as possible. US customers can return items for free (as long as the item was not on a final sale). Customers have 45 days to return an item for a refund. However, customers must request a return within 28 days of receiving the item to be eligible for a full refund to the original payment method. If you pass the 28-day timeline, you can still return the item up to 45 days after receiving it, but you will receive ASOS credit instead. For customers that pass the 45-day timeline, refunds and returns are no longer possible. Items that have been visibly worn are not eligible for return. Additionally, ASOS reserves the right to refuse returns for customers that have exceedingly high rates of returns on their orders.

Unfortunately, ASOS doesn't have a phone number or live chat function you can use for assistance. However, if you're having difficulties with your ASOS return, you can email the ASOS customer service team. Make sure to provide your order number and the exact issue you're having with attempting to return the item. It may take several business days to receive a response from ASOS.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Asos in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Return Something to Asos? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
