How Do I Find Black Friday Deals for Apple?

Just because some deals are harder to find doesn't mean they don't exist. Apple products are sought after and very pricy because the company is always working to make its products better. The best way to receive alerts on deals is to sign up for an account and agree to the newsletters. You can also use Apple's store locater to find other authorized retailers and sign up for their emails if possible.

Apple was established in 1976 selling computers. Today, they've branched out to smart phones and tablets, software and online services like music streaming. The day after Thanksgiving, although not recognized as Black Friday until recently, has been the official start of the United States Christmas shopping season since 1952. Many retailers, including Apple, offer in-store deals that may not be available anywhere else.

The best method of finding out about Apple's Black Friday deals is to sign up for an account and opt-in for newsletters about their deals. Since these deals can happen anytime, chances are you might find something you like months before the Christmas rush.

How to Enroll
1. Go to https://www.apple.com/shop and click on the Account icon located on the right side of the screen.
2. You should see a drop-down window with options, click on Account.
3. Click on Sign in or click on the Create an Apple ID option, located below the sign-in field.
4. For new accounts, fill out the fields, and be sure to check the box to receive announcements which may include deals and discounts. There doesn't appear to be an option to update settings on an existing account. You might have to contact customer service for help if you already have an account and you want to verify your settings are correct.

Tips to Remember
1. It's not recommended to use third-party coupon and discount sites. The discounts don't always work and Apple has no control over these sites.
2. If you don't receive a confirmation email after registering, please check your spam or junk folder.
3. Since the inventory of each store varies, it's recommended to call the store directly and not Apple's main customer service line.
4. Another useful option is either utilize Apple's store locator or find retailers that do sell Apple products but offer more in the way of newsletters, alerts and deals.
