What are the hours and when should I call?
LG Electronics operates the call center for this 800-243-0000 phone number Mon-Sun 8am-6pm CT.The short answer is that you should call on a Tuesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 436 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the LG Electronics call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this LG Electronics phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like LG Electronics staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call LG Electronics is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Wednesday, which averages 259% more phone calls by comparison.Again, this is based on a sample of 436 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

I have some type of warranty on my LG fridge. I kept the paperwork in case something happened, and when the refrigerator started manifesting issues with regulating temperature, I knew it was time to call the company. Some days it was ice cold in the fridge, and other days it seemed like it was barely cooling at all. When I called LG to address the problem, I had a very frustrating experience with the call directory. While I did eventually get to someone, the automated system that was supposedly facilitating the process made reaching a live agent extremely difficult. I frequently got stuck on steps and had to troubleshoot because it would just keep cycling.
When I first called, an automated voice said: "Life's Good, welcome to LG Electronics." Then it continued on to give a Spanish option and the standard privacy warning. Then I got a menu, that told me: "If you are calling to inquire about an order from LG.com or the LG store, say 'order.' If you are calling to order parts or accessories, say 'parts.' For customer service, say 'customer service.' " I said "customer service," and then it asked me: "What type of product are you calling about? You can say something like refrigerator, TV, or mobile phone."
I answered "refrigerator" and then it confirmed that I had said refrigerator. This led me to another long speech about a chatbot. It said: "Thank you for calling LC customer support. We understand that long wait times can be frustrating. To help you get the assistance you need quickly, we offer a self-service chatbot that can help you schedule repair service or walk you through troubleshooting steps. If you need additional help you can still talk with an agent. To receive a link to our chatbox via text, please say 'yes.' " It kept repeating it over and over again. It never told me to say "no" to stay on the line, but after three cycles I tried it and that seemed to get me to the next step.
Then a virtual agent answered and asked me to briefly describe my problem so I said: "Talk to an agent about my warranty." Then I asked what type of warranty I was calling about to which I honestly answered: "I'm not sure." Then it would repeat the options again and at one point say are you calling about cooling. This happened about four times until it started at the start about why I was calling and this time I just said plainly: "Talk to an agent."
That got me past that point and I was transferred to a wait line with music. After this point, a customer service rep named Raul picked up promptly. Even though it took me six minutes of struggling with the virtual agent, I was eventually able to get help.

LG Electronics Customer Service on X (formerly Twitter)
Use the link to connect with customer service through Twitter
LG Electronics, like many companies, provides customer service on the X platform (formerly Twitter). While it rarely entails live dialogue with a customer service rep, this channel can yield rapid response times and can be a useful option if you have an X/Twitter account.
Use this link to find customer service help through their website
As a last, sometimes only, resort- LG Electronics customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
