Two days ago, when attempting to access my email account, I encountered an issue. Each time I tried to enter my email address, an error message appeared stating, "We are sorry, but we don't recognize this email address." After some investigation, I discovered my account had been deactivated, despite not violating any terms of service. Given that I last logged in approximately 3 to 4 months ago, inactivity should not have been the cause. I am perplexed as to why my account was suddenly deactivated. Just to clarify, it's not my account but my sister's. The specific account in question that I wish to reactivate is [redacted] Restoring access to my account is important, so please provide a solution via email.

My elderly mother-in-law, who is 80 years old, recently had her Yahoo account hacked. We tried contacting Yahoo for help, but the process was frustrating, and it seemed like they wanted to charge a fee to assist. Given her recent loss and our current living situation with her, we can't afford any additional expenses. It seems unfair to charge her for a security issue that may be Yahoo's responsibility. Could you please assist us in explaining this situation to her without any financial burden? We believe Yahoo should offer better security measures. If possible, we would like to either close or reset her account without any charges. Her account is under the name Gayla Starr, but we don't have the password. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] to address this matter. Thank you for your help. Crystal Sweigart

I have been receiving emails from someone claiming to be ADT.com customer service for 3 weeks, stating that my ADT account is locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. When I contacted ADT, they mentioned that my account is not blocked, and the email did not originate from them. They advised me to change my email password. However, when I tried to change my Yahoo password, I keep getting redirected to remove password access and switch to using a passcode. I am struggling to regain access to my hacked Facebook and Pinterest accounts, as well as my Yahoo email. How can I access my Yahoo account to change the password, especially since a passcode may be easier to hack than a complex password?

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account. Recently, I changed my phone number, making it impossible to receive the SMS code to sign in on my new device. I am now unable to input my password or use any other verification method. I attempted to resolve the issue by logging out of my Yahoo account on my desktop but ended up locked out of that as well. This predicament has left me unable to access my emails with no efficient method of contacting Yahoo for support. I am disappointed by the lack of security measures in place to assist in situations like this. Despite reaching out with details of my issue, I have not received any response. Access to my important daily emails is crucial to me, and I am eager to regain control of my account promptly.

I'm currently unable to access my account as my password is no longer accepted. After attempting to contact Yahoo customer support with no success, I am frustrated and seeking assistance in resetting my password. Despite providing proof of my identity multiple times and completing numerous captchas, the issue remains unresolved. To make matters worse, my recovery phone is damaged beyond repair. I just discovered that my old email address, [redacted], has been hacked. The hacker has not changed the password, but I cannot access it because it's linked to another old email and one that I don't recognize (possibly belonging to the hacker). I am willing to provide any security information required. I do not need access to the email; I just want it deactivated because the hacker used it to access my Facebook account.

I, Amy Prince, have multiple devices linked to my email and messenger, but I'm having trouble receiving the code for my Yahoo email ending in "maree2121." It seems someone with access to my phones and passwords is intercepting my messages. I suspect my niece's wife, Maryen Askander, and her father, Nage Fuoad, based in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Boston, are involved. As a result, I have not been receiving important emails and my account was blocked recently. Please take urgent action and address this issue as I am unable to access crucial information. Thank you.

I have been using my Yahoo email address, [redacted], for 12 years without any issues. Recently, when I tried to log in using a new phone, Yahoo requested verification through my old phone number, which I no longer have. I have also attempted to resolve this problem using different computers, but with no success. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joann Grogin

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo email, which I also use for Facebook. I can't remember my security questions due to my past struggles, and I'm unable to log in if I get kicked out of Facebook. I'm willing to prove my identity with photos. I'm not very tech-savvy and unable to solve this on my own. Contact me at [redacted]. I think I remember some old passwords and my favorite aunt's security question, but the answer isn't being accepted. Thank you for your assistance.

I receive at least 2 emails daily with the following message: "Your account is currently not enabled to sign in from apps that do not meet modern security standards (e.g., older versions of mail and calendar apps like Outlook)." The email appears to be from [redacted] I suspect it may be a scam. How can I make it stop? The email includes advice to switch to Yahoo's apps to enhance security and provides a link to adjust settings if I still prefer to use less secure sign-in methods. It also suggests changing the account password if the sign-in attempt seems suspicious. I am concerned about the security of my Yahoo account, especially as it references [redacted] as a recovery email for [redacted]

Hello! I'm Calle, and I'm experiencing an issue with my Yahoo email account. I've always used [redacted], but today I couldn't log in. When I tried, a message appeared saying my email wasn't recognized. I attempted to use the sign-in helper without success. Additionally, when I tried to create a new Yahoo account with the same email, it stated that it was already taken. I read a thread suggesting I may have violated rules, but I haven't done anything that goes against the guidelines. I'm hesitant to create a new account as I've lost the password to a game, and the only way to reset it is through my Yahoo email, which I no longer have access to. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot my Yahoo account password that I use for a mailing list user group. After clicking on "forgot my password" and obtaining the account key, I ran into an issue. I closed the email on my phone, found the 8-digit key in my Google email, and memorized it. However, I can't figure out how to return to the page where I input the key. Each time I try to log in to Yahoo, I am only prompted to request a new account key, causing a loop. I need to leave the page to view the key and then can't go back without requesting a new key. It's frustrating because I can only find information on enabling or disabling the Yahoo Account Key feature, not on using the key provided to recover my password.
