Deleting Yahoo Inbox Emails

Select Emails

2. Log into your account
3. Open your inbox
4. Check the box beside emails you wish to delete to select
5. Click the trash can icon (Delete icon) at the top of the page
6. Select "Ok" to confirm you wish to move the emails to your trash folder

Deleting All Emails

To delete all the emails in your Yahoo inbox, you need to do the following:

1. Open Yahoo Mail in your computer browser
2. Log into your account
3. Open your inbox

5. This will highlight all the displayed messages

Emails in your trash folder are only kept for seven days before they are purged by the system. If you know you will not need the emails you've placed in the trash folder from your inbox, you can permanently delete them by doing these steps:

2. Log into your account
3. Open your trash folder
4. Select the emails you want to permanently delete or click on "Select All" to select all the emails in the box
5. Click on the trash can icon to permanently delete the emails
6. Select "Ok" to confirm you do wish to permanently delete the emails highlighted
