I have tried to cancel my son's subscription multiple times, but I am still being charged for the service. There have been several unauthorized charges on my account. I want to ensure this subscription is cancelled for good and I demand a refund for at least the last two charges. One charge was for $97.00 and I have just been charged another $24.99. This account should have been closed months ago.

I have one Xbox in my home, and my son uses it, with the gold fee coming out of his account. However, I am still being charged $27 occasionally for Live, which I don’t use. I need a refund promptly as I am unable to reach a live person on the Xbox site, it just leads me in circles. My daughter made a one-time live payment a year ago for an Xbox that no longer works. I cannot access it to cancel subscriptions, and she cannot remember her username from that long ago. These charges have caused my account to go into overdraft previously. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am unable to access my Microsoft account anymore as I lost the email and password six months ago. Despite being charged for Xbox Live Gold, I am unable to use Xbox Live as my account was reset. I cannot sign in due to the lack of email and password. I have not used Xbox Live in six months and continue to be charged $24.99. Upon checking the activity, I believe it will confirm this. I would appreciate a refund or some form of compensation. Kindly assist me in resolving this promptly. Thank you.

This morning, when I logged onto my Xbox, there were four boxes on the screen. I had never seen this before, so I mentioned it to a friend. In the boxes, it gave options to restart the Xbox, turn it off, and two others that I cannot recall. Following my friend's advice, I selected the option to turn off the Xbox. Upon restarting, it prompted me to enter lots of details. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the password for the email associated with my Xbox account. Subsequently, I created a new email address assuming my old account information would still be there, but it wasn't. I remember the email I used, but I am seeking assistance in recovering my password.

My son's Xbox Live account is set to auto-renew, but he no longer uses it. I don't have his account details, but the name on the credit card charged is Ross Northrop with the last 4 digits [redacted]. I'm requesting a refund for the $59.99 charge on this month's bill and to cancel the auto-renewal/account. Can you assist me with this?

Hello, my name is Leslie Macleod, and I am reaching out for assistance regarding my son, Colin Macleod's Xbox account. It appears that he has been using my credit card without my permission, resulting in significant recurring charges totaling $[redacted] last month. Unfortunately, I have been unable to resolve this issue with my son directly and have already contacted Capital One to cancel my card. They advised that a new card will only be sent to Xbox. I suspect Colin may be using the alias Carmelo, and he can be reached at [redacted] K7K Drive, North Bay, Ontario, Canada, postal code P1A 3J4. His contact numbers are 1-[redacted] (cell) and 1-[redacted] (home). His email is [redacted] My Capital One card details can be provided upon request. I am requesting urgent assistance to address these unauthorized charges, as I cannot afford to continue making payments to Xbox monthly. Your prompt help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Leslie Macleod

I received a message from a player with a Grabify link, mistakenly directed as a link to a game-related forum. I am aware that this software is intended to track my IP address if clicked on any of my devices. I reported the account "vengance40" and the message, yet I would appreciate confirmation that action is being taken. I have screenshots of the messages on my devices that I am willing to share if necessary.

My 9-year-old son spent $[redacted] on skins and products in the game Fortnite without my knowledge. When I went to pay my rent, I discovered that only $30 was left in my account due to these unauthorized purchases. We've tried to request a refund through Xbox, but the process asks for order numbers that are not displayed in the purchase history. I attempted to contact an [redacted] number I found online, but it turned out to be invalid. Even when I called Microsoft, I was disconnected after following the prompts. I've taken steps with the bank by canceling my MasterCard and disputing the charges. Can anyone offer advice on how to successfully reach Xbox/Microsoft for a refund? I appreciate any help with this situation.

I am currently having internet connectivity issues even though I am connected. I've tried troubleshooting by resetting everything, but my Xbox is stuck on a mandatory update screen. It seems to be unable to complete the update. It would have been helpful to receive a warning about the update beforehand to avoid this situation. I was in the middle of an online co-op match and streaming when the update interrupted everything. #frustrated

For the past three weeks, my original Xbox One turns on, but the screen immediately displays an error message "something went wrong" with System Error code: E102. Despite multiple attempts to restart it, I only occasionally get through. The problem has worsened to the point where it won't even let me proceed past the troubleshooting screen. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps - restarting, resetting to factory defaults (which doesn't complete properly), unplugging and doing a hard reset, checking all cords, and more. Despite all my efforts, the issue persists daily, making me think it might be defective and require a replacement.

My Xbox One in the Special Edition White color, with the serial number [redacted]48, encountered an issue during an update. A mishap occurred when my dog unplugged it mid-update. After plugging it back in, the screen showed the update at 53% completion but then displayed an error message prompting me to restart or troubleshoot. Upon restarting, the update screen reappeared at 53% and eventually led back to the error message. When attempting troubleshooting and a reset while keeping apps and games installed, the cycle repeated with the system error code E[redacted]3 [redacted]2. Despite multiple attempts, the same sequence occurs. I am seeking advice on how to address this ongoing problem.

Hello, I am extremely frustrated by this ongoing issue that has been persisting for months now. I specifically requested cancellation from the representative I spoke with, who assured me it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, this process has been repeating itself with no resolution. Even when I managed to speak with a manager, I was informed that in order to complete the cancellation, I needed to sign a document sent by mail. Despite this assurance, I continue to be billed each month unfairly. Additionally, my son's gaming account, which doesn't require online access, has been locked by the same party causing further inconvenience. To make matters worse, I never received the promised mail for cancellation. Something is certainly not right, and I am seeking a solution to rectify this situation, along with a refund of $9.99 for at least the past three months. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Stephanie D.

Hello, my name is Graham Tomlinson. I received an Xbox as a gift last Christmas, which was actually my second one. I have spent around $1,[redacted] using my credit card to purchase items because I enjoy the service. Unfortunately, my old account got hacked, and despite my attempts, I couldn't recover it. I had to create a new account, losing all my progress. I noticed a $90 charge for a game on my bank statement, but I can't access it due to the account issue. I am frustrated with not being able to speak with a live person for support. My brother had a better experience with PlayStation customer service. I want a resolution soon, or I may consider legal action. The sign-in process should be improved to enhance security. I'm willing to provide my bank statements as proof of purchase. I await a response from a supervisor or manager to resolve this matter promptly.

You all need to stop with the safe space mentality. It's essential to provide individuals with the necessary tools to navigate the real world and face the consequences of their actions. Allowing online troublemakers to disrupt gameplay, like team killing, while punishing someone for using a curse word is absurd. As a veteran, I strongly oppose this lack of accountability. Encourage the community to address issues internally instead of constantly seeking external intervention. Restoring a sense of personal responsibility and differentiating between those who can handle criticism and those who need excessive protection is vital. Instead of promoting a safe space culture, foster a brave space mentality where individuals are held accountable for their actions. Focus on addressing the root cause of problems, not just reacting to them.

I spoke to a representative who advised me to reset my Xbox One S, and now I am unable to access anything on the console. It keeps displaying an error message regarding the update. Despite being connected via Ethernet, it is not working. My children are also unable to connect to Xbox Live. This situation is causing significant disruptions at home. I rely on my Xbox for anxiety relief, as well as for streaming services like Netflix and Prime, which I can no longer access. I have been a loyal customer for 11 years and have never experienced such issues before. I am extremely dissatisfied with the current situation. I am considering trying PlayStation, although I am hesitant. My son is also upset as he cannot play most of his games.

A family member gave me a $30 Xbox gift card set from Walgreens about a month ago. Two cards worked, but the third one got damaged when I peeled off the cover. Three characters are missing, and despite trying all the combinations I could think of, nothing worked. I'm not seeking a refund or a replacement card, just hoping for a way to recover these three missing numbers if the card can be traced. I know it's unlikely, but I'm willing to try. If more details are needed or if a call is necessary, please reach out to Spanish support (specifically the Puerto Rican line). Communicating in Spanish would be best as the person who gave me the gift isn't as fluent in English as I am, which is why I'm reaching out on their behalf.

I am encountering an issue while attempting to join a Minecraft realm on my Nintendo Switch. A notification appeared indicating I could not participate in online multiplayer due to my privacy settings, providing a link, aka.ms/accountsettings, to adjust them. After visiting the site and entering my email and password, I was unable to access my privacy settings without a verification code. Despite my phone number being linked to my Microsoft account, I have not received the code after countless attempts. I simply need to modify my multiplayer settings within the privacy section to be able to join the Minecraft realm.

Good afternoon, I need help recovering my Xbox account from over 10 years ago. My username used to be JRump23, but I can't access it anymore because I no longer have the same credit card or email associated with it. Although I don't mind if I lose the achievements, I would like to know if it's possible to reclaim the username JRump23. Currently, I go by JRump810 on all my accounts. Since the billing address remains the same, could you please check if the JRump23 account has been inactive and allow me to switch my current username back to JRump23? Thank you for your assistance, feel free to ask for any additional information if needed.

I purchased Gears 5 Retail specifically for the Play Anywhere feature. I assumed I could play the Steam version by connecting it to my Xbox account. However, I encountered issues as Steam doesn't allow me to activate the code. Xbox Support mentioned they can't provide a Steam key, while Steam stated only Microsoft Xbox Studios can. Unfortunately, I can't utilize the Microsoft Store Version as my home internet connection is slow. Steam suggested downloading it elsewhere to create a backup for offline installation at home. Downloading the Store Version with my slow connection would take too long. Could you please assist me in acquiring a Steam key for my registered Gears 5 Version? I'm unable to use the Store Version and don't want my money to go to waste. Thank you for your help.
