I recently changed my phone number for WhatsApp and would like to transfer my chat history to the new number. However, I am encountering an issue with Two-Step Verification. Despite entering the correct code, it keeps saying "Incorrect Password." I have not modified my Two-Step Verification since initially setting up WhatsApp. This situation has left me unable to access my chats and is disrupting my work. I received a message on WhatsApp saying, "Your phone number is banned from using WhatsApp. Contact support for help." Remember, accounts are banned if they violate the Terms of Service. Check the "Acceptable Use of Our Services" section in the Terms of Service to understand proper WhatsApp usage. Accounts may be banned without warning. Good day, I am seeking assistance as there has been an issue with someone attempting to register my number on another phone, resulting in a ban from WhatsApp due to multiple complaints. I believe there is a misunderstanding or potential sabotage. I find it unprofessional that WhatsApp has not investigated this matter, especially considering my long-time use of the app without any violations until now. Recently, when I inquired about why my number was blocked, I was informed that there were multiple complaints against me. However, many individuals in India engage in spamming and fraudulent activities, yet their numbers are not blocked. Unlike WhatsApp, PayPal requests evidence before taking action against potential wrongdoing. I believe my number was unfairly blocked without any proof or warning. I strictly adhere to WhatsApp's rules, never sending bulk messages, spamming, using short links, third-party auto-reply apps, or engaging in any other illegal activities. My number is essential for my business, connecting me with customers, friends, family, and colleagues. For the last three weeks, I have been experiencing issues with my WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop connectivity at home. Strangely, when I use the same laptop at my workplace on the office Wi-Fi, it functions perfectly. Despite reaching out to WhatsApp support via email and messages, all I receive are automated responses that are not helpful. I even provided videos, screenshots, and device information, but it hasn't resolved the problem. I attempted to connect through WhatsApp Web & Desktop on my wife's laptop at home, with no success. Interestingly, my phone connection remains stable no matter where I am. I suspect there might be a compatibility issue with WhatsApp Web/Desktop and my BT Hub at home, as even after receiving a new hub from BT, the problem persists. Despite reinstalling WhatsApp, the issue remains unresolved.
