I'm Charlotte Lewitin, and I transferred $[redacted].76 to my friend Erika Rudden today. Unfortunately, her account seems to be having issues. Erika's contact number is [redacted]. It's urgent for her to have access to the funds, so I would appreciate it if you could assist with resolving her account problems or facilitating the return of the money to me. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

My wife and I each have separate phones, Facebook accounts, and debit cards. She uses Venmo, and I use a Chime card for transferring money between us. Recently, my wife accidentally attempted to transfer $[redacted].00 from her card to mine through Facebook, but the money got frozen due to an issue with sending and receiving from the same card simultaneously. This situation has left us without access to our only funds, affecting our Fourth of July plans and causing distress for our family. I'm reaching out for assistance in resolving this matter. My name is Joshua Thomas on Facebook and my wife is Brittanie Brown. Her card is a Venmo card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my Venmo account because I have forgotten my login information. When Venmo sends an email to verify my identity, it is being sent to the wrong email address. The email address associated with my account should be [redacted], but the confirmation email is being sent to [redacted], with Gmail spelled incorrectly. Unfortunately, the credit/debit card linked to my account is no longer valid, so I cannot use that to verify my identity. I received a payment on 7/18/20 for $87, and I am unable to access my account to manage it. My phone number is [redacted].

I was charged $35 in two separate transactions on my account for disputes. I only had one dispute for $80, which I believe should not have been a dispute in the first place. Now, you are claiming there is another dispute for which I am being charged $35. I am not happy about this at all. I need that $35 back urgently for rent. There was no initial dispute to trigger these charges. It feels like you created a dispute without my involvement and deducted $35 from my account. I am not okay with this practice. I demand my $35 refund promptly. I have not initiated any disputes recently. If I don't receive my refund soon, I will have to close my Venmo account and pursue legal action. Thank you.

I placed an order for a product on 7/13/[redacted], but experienced issues with getting a refund. Initially, I spoke with Amisa on 7/13/[redacted] at 1:03 am, who promised a refund of $54.94 but only credited $54.22, before abruptly ending the call. When I called back a few minutes later, Jacklyn at 1:15 am assured me the incorrect charge of $34.98 for an unordered product would be refunded within 1-3 days. However, I only received the first refund, not the second one promised by Jacklyn. Subsequent calls to customer service, including one with Marie and another with Peter, were unhelpful and frustrating. Despite four attempts to cancel the order within a week, I was told no refund was possible. The product, "Keto Fast," was charged on my Venmo account. The charges included $[redacted].94 for the initial product, an additional charge I didn't order, and a third mysterious charge. I still haven't received the product or the full refunds promised. How can I proceed to resolve this and get my money back as well as cancel the unauthorized charges?

I recently changed my phone and need to update my phone number on my Venmo account. I have been unsuccessful in doing so for a week with no help from Customer Service. They closed their call center, which is frustrating. I want Venmo to contact me by phone instead of email to verify my identity. Unfortunately, my wallet was stolen, and I only have my credit cards, debit cards, and health card as identification. Please assist me promptly. Contact me via email at the addresses I have been using. Name: J. B. Venmo account name: Jacob-Briggs-24.

My friend (or who I thought was my friend) contacted me on Snapchat, claiming his car tire had gone flat and he needed help paying the repair shop due to his bank card being declined. He requested I send $[redacted] via Venmo to @LouieR34 to cover the costs. I agreed and made the payment as requested.
Shortly after, my real friend informed me that his Snapchat had been hacked and not to send any money. Unfortunately, I fell for a scam and would like to cancel the $[redacted] transaction to @LouieR34. My Venmo account name is @Timothy-East-1.
Please reach out if needed at [redacted] or via email. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty with setting up Venmo on my computer. I recently completed work for a company that is compensating me through Venmo. Although unfamiliar with the platform, I entered my bank account and routing numbers but do not wish to input additional information for social use or a card. The setup screen seems to be stuck on adding friends, preventing me from progressing further. I am uncertain if the setup is correct and unable to confirm if the payment from the company has been received or how to transfer it to my account. The incomplete FAQ sections and lack of clear instructions are frustrating. Checking my account, there is no activity shown for June, likely because I only accessed it at the end of July.
I may need to watch a tutorial on YouTube for proper Venmo setup.
Concerning the verification amounts of 11 cents and 24 cents withdrawn, although small, they were not returned to my account as stated in the instructions.
I am eagerly awaiting resolution and the payment from the company.
Thank you,
A. S.

I accidentally had my unemployment deposited into John Passmore's account. Since I didn't have a bank account at the time, and his account is now deactivated, I haven't received my payment for a month. The $[redacted] is essential for me as I am not currently working and have two kids to support with many expenses. If possible, could you assist in transferring the funds to me? I was unaware of the policies, and John is my roommate. Please contact either me or him to resolve this issue and avoid further delays. I urgently need the money to cover bills and living expenses. I deeply regret the mistake and hope for a swift resolution. Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

I created a Venmo account on my iPhone about 2 months ago. Somehow, I mistakenly tried to sign up again and used my gmail account with a different password. Now, I have two sets of login credentials: one for [redacted] and one for [redacted], each with its own password. I made around 10 payments over the past two months using the account on my phone. The issue is now I can't access the account with either set of credentials. I am unsure which ID is linked to the account. I attempted both options with their respective passwords but received an error message stating they don't match. It might be best to determine the correct ID associated with the account, reset its password, and stop using the incorrect one. Any guidance on resolving this would be appreciated.

Hello, my name is G.Z. I have a Venmo account. Recently, my phone was reset at the Apple store, erasing all my apps. My Venmo account is linked to an old phone number I no longer have access to. I've tried contacting Venmo for help, provided my new phone number, and sent them my verification details, but I haven't received any emails back. I'm unable to access my Venmo to pay bills or transfer money. I need to regain access to my account. Thank you for your assistance.

My username is Adam@Latent1 and my email is [redacted] On 08/08/20, I paid Kimberly Brown $[redacted].00, followed by $[redacted].00 on 08/10/20. She claims her account got frozen after I sent the $[redacted].00, and now she is unresponsive. Despite previous interactions, I am increasingly concerned about being scammed. She insists her account is frozen until she can upload an ID, scheduled for November at the DMV. I want a refund to my bank account, Venmo, or Wells Fargo. Please confirm if her account is frozen as claimed, so I can decide whether to continue any future transactions. Thank you, Adam Lee.

I recently had an issue with overdrawing, which caused my account to freeze. I made sure to repay the overdraft, and my Venmo balance is sufficient. Despite this, I am unable to make payments. When I check the app, there are no notifications about the overdraft, and everything appears normal, yet the payment function is still unavailable. I urgently need assistance in accessing my account information to resolve this matter.

My daughter assisted me in setting up a Venmo account back in June. I have successfully linked a credit card to the account, but have been unable to link my checking account despite repeated attempts. The system repeatedly states that my checking account cannot be found or no longer exists, even though it is active and has sufficient funds. I have inputted my routing and account number several times, but the issue persists. The error message suggests a problem with my bank, PNC Bank, yet they have confirmed there are no issues on their end. I have attempted to reach out via phone with no success and sent an email through the form yesterday, to which I have not yet received a response. Despite receiving an email acknowledging receipt of my message, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the situation.

I have discovered three unauthorized charges on my card. Two of them are pending: one for $89.63 to Remarkable - Skin - Way Co. and the other for $87.67 to Naturally Enhanced Won. The third charge, dated August 9, [redacted], is $[redacted].49 to Straight Talk which I did not authorize. The only valid charges to Straight Talk were made on July 26, [redacted], totaling $[redacted].49 for my husband's and my cellphones. It is crucial that these unauthorized charges are refunded. I am unfamiliar with the pending charges and they are not in my state. I did not make the August 9th charge to Straight Talk. Resolving this promptly would greatly reduce my stress. Your swift assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Today, I mistakenly opened a Venmo account intending to send money to my grandchild. I entered all my personal details, including credit card information and ID numbers, making me worried about potential identity theft. Despite setting up Touch ID, passwords, and privacy settings, I somehow got locked out of my account. What's more concerning is that my old PayPal email is showing up without my input. I urgently need to cancel this account due to the lack of customer service options. Being 80 years old, I find it distressing not being able to talk to a real person for help. I regret trying to use Venmo instead of a traditional check to send money. Please delete all my information from Venmo immediately. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue promptly. Sincerely, Patricia R.

On August 6, [redacted], I immediately contacted Venmo when I discovered three unauthorized charges on my account. The charges were made to unfamiliar individuals and emails. After attempting to reach out to these individuals, I realized their emails were inactive. When trying to call Venmo, I found out they were not accepting calls and resorted to messaging them. Venmo claimed it was not fraud as I had authorized the transactions, which I disputed. I do not recognize the recipients and have not given consent for any money to be taken from my account. Despite my efforts, Venmo has refused to reimburse the $[redacted] total. I am unsure how my money was taken, but I need assistance in resolving this issue as my bank has stated Venmo is accountable for refunding the amount.

My account has been frozen due to a customer complaint. The customer cancelled an order after payment was received and requested a refund, leading to my account being frozen. I tried to refund the customer but was unable to access my account to do so. I contacted the customer via telephone and message, and reimbursed them in cash at my home. I will not be sending any further funds through Venmo as the customer has already been refunded as of August 23, [redacted]. I have another customer who paid for legal documents, but I cannot access the payment in my account due to this issue. Venmo froze my account without evidence of any violation, even though no violation occurred. I am requesting that my account be restored so I can access the funds that are rightfully mine. I have a signed receipt from the customer acknowledging the refund. If my request is not successful, I will pursue legal action and require the customer and Venmo to provide physical evidence of the alleged violation. Thank you.

Feeling devastated after falling victim to a scam amid a tumultuous marriage crisis due to my husband's infidelity. Trusted this individual to retrieve deleted messages from my spouse's phone but was scammed post-payment. Disheartened to learn that many others are being duped too. I am experiencing issues with my Venmo account. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it by chatting online, I keep getting the same response indicating it's a security problem on their end. I tried deleting my account, creating a new one, and even changing the linked bank with no success. This has caused significant inconvenience as I rely on Venmo for various transactions with family, friends, and customers who are added as Venmo friends. I'm puzzled by the security concerns raised, especially since my daughter, who shares my last name, is also facing issues. It's disheartening to be informed that nothing can be done to rectify the situation, as I find it hard to believe an app cannot be adjusted. It feels like my account has been blocked, and this has put me in a tough spot, especially with my landscaper who solely accepts Venmo. I am very frustrated and seek assistance to resolve this matter promptly.
