Order number A4C98 for £16.10 was placed at 15:49 GMT. While setting up the UberEats app, I unintentionally placed an order from Subway without proceeding to check out. Despite reaching out to customer support for a refund, they declined to cancel the order. The delivery arrived, but I did not accept it, and the driver left with the order. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this with customer support, but they continue to deny a refund. As I did not receive the order, I expect a refund. If this matter is not resolved promptly and a refund is not issued, I will escalate it to my Mastercard provider as potential fraud.

My friend and I, Steven C., recently ordered from Fatburger for the free delivery promotion within 5 minutes. Surprisingly, my friend had $0 delivery and booking fees, while I got charged almost $5.00 for the same order. When I tried to cancel immediately through the app, I struggled to find the support team contact information. After searching both the app and Google, I finally reached out for help, only to encounter a rude and unhelpful customer service representative. It was disappointing not to receive any assistance and a $5.00 credit would have sufficed. It seems difficult to cancel orders promptly due to restaurants starting preparation right away. Despite this experience, I hope Uber Eats can address these issues to improve user experience and avoid negative feedback. I recently ordered from Jersey Mike’s Subs and encountered a frustrating situation when the Delivery Partner cancelled my order without notifying me. It wasn't until the restaurant contacted me that I found out about the cancellation. Upon going to pick up the food, I was unexpectedly told to pay in person. After contacting Uber Help, I was informed that only the delivery fee would be refunded, leading to further arguments to have the tip refunded as well. I opted for delivery due to my wife's illness, and this experience only added to the stress. This isn't the first time this has happened, though it's my first time lodging a complaint. Unless there are immediate credits, discounts, or promotions applied to my account, I will not be using Uber Eats or Uber again.

Today, I had a very frustrating customer experience. I live in a building with a reception area handling all deliveries. Despite informing the reception of the incoming delivery and authorizing access to my unit, the contracted driver never made it inside the building. My unit details indicate it should be delivered to unit [redacted], but the after-hours contact center disputed this. Despite multiple calls, I was unsuccessful in reaching the driver. I am requesting a refund for this failed delivery.

However, I later discovered the order was cancelled. I contacted the restaurant where Terry or Carrie informed me that the driver, Ismael, picked up the food but left an item behind. Despite waiting 50 minutes, I did not receive my order, and the driver did not return the food to the restaurant. I called customer service, but they suggested I reorder instead of attempting to contact the driver. This situation is unacceptable. I am requesting a refund as I do not plan to reorder. I am quite disappointed with the recent service from Uber Eats. It seems that despite allowing specific orders on the app, the restaurants often ignore these customizations, which is frustrating. Additionally, there have been recurring issues with the door delivery service. Despite selecting this option, drivers have been reluctant to come to the door, citing various excuses about car issues. This defeats the purpose of choosing door delivery; it's not curbside service. As I care for children during deliveries, I cannot step outside each time, yet drivers insist. Tonight, the driver feigned being lost, leading to a wrong and cold order. This consistent experience makes me consider deleting the Uber Eats app and cautioning others. I seek clarification on these matters and await your response. The service has proven to be more troublesome than beneficial.

I was thinking about getting McDonald's delivered through Uber Eats. I added everything to my cart but changed my mind at the last minute. I am certain I didn't place the order. Instead, I decided to eat at home. An hour later, I received a call saying my food had arrived. I'm certain I never finalized the order, and I'm disappointed to have been charged $15.00 for a meal I didn't intend to buy. The food was cold, and I didn't even eat it.

I attempted to place an order with Denny’s, but encountered issues with the delivery driver's directions. The restaurant contacted me to inform about the missed turn, leaving me uncertain about how to cancel the order. I struggled to reorder due to the app's lack of user-friendliness. Unfortunately, after a long drive with my kids, my new order got canceled while the original one was delayed. By the time the food arrived, it was cold, and the driver had not picked it up yet. I am requesting a full refund and won't be using this app again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

This is the final time I will use this service. I ordered a meal that was supposed to be delivered by 12:45 am, but by 12:46 am, the driver had already left, claiming it was cancelled. Customer service said the driver waited 10 minutes, which was not true. I feel neglected as a customer, with the driver falsifying information and getting a free meal while I can't get a refund. This service experience is the worst I've ever had.

I placed an order for drinks but realized my delivery address was incorrect. I promptly canceled to edit the address. However, I was charged $11.00+ for canceling within 30 seconds, even though the drinks could not have been prepared that quickly. I feel this is unfair since I was not given the chance to correct my delivery address or receive the service. Taking $11.00+ without providing any food delivery is unjust and seems like a scam to me.

I had an issue with a delivery where the food was not received by me on December 2, [redacted], and instead was delivered to someone else. Due to this, I switched from using account number [redacted]62 to [redacted]. Despite this change, the outstanding amount was still debited from my account. I am frustrated and question the integrity of the company in dealing with this situation. It is unfair for me to be charged for a service I did not receive, and I am requesting a prompt refund of the deducted amount.

I recently placed an order with your service but was not able to change the delivery address through the application. Despite my attempts, the order went through to the original address. I even visited the restaurant in person to explain the situation, but to no avail. I tried multiple mobile and landline numbers provided, including toll-free lines, but all were out of service. Additionally, when the delivery person called from the delivery location, I noticed the number appeared as a landline, though they insisted it was a mobile. After unsuccessful attempts to contact Uber Eats through various numbers found online, I received a call while driving and couldn't answer. I tried calling back over 10 times with no success. I made my last order on February 28, [redacted], and selected cash on delivery. I paid in cash upon receiving the order. Now, when I try to place a new order, it shows that I owe money to Uber Eats. I am confused because I always pay cash on delivery. It seems like there might have been a mistake by the Uber delivery person where the money was not accounted for. Please look into this issue as I don't want any unresolved charges. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to stop using Uber Eats.

Last night, I ordered food from Red Box Kattupakkam around 9:25 PM. I got my delivery by 10:08 PM from Dinesh (arrived late). Upon opening the food, I noticed it was extremely oily, cold, and seemed like it might have been a reheated old order. I only took one bite before realizing. Despite paying the requested amount, the quality was unacceptable. I filed a complaint, but have not received any response in nearly 24 hours. The issue remains unresolved. I plan to escalate this by sharing photos with the Food Safety Department about this concerning experience with Uber Eats and the restaurant. I made an error in my McDonald's fast food order and tried to call to correct it. Unfortunately, a woman answered amid a lot of background noise. She repeatedly asked for my name and questioned whether she should continue with connecting me to the restaurant. Her repeated inquiries delayed the process so much that I was unable to make any changes to my order. I was left feeling very disappointed by the experience.

Dear Sir/Madam, I placed an order for Drums of Heaven and Salt & Pepper Fish from Zaikebaaz at 9:37 PM on March 9th, [redacted]. The tracking information kept changing the Estimated Delivery Time, from initially 10:11 PM to later becoming 10:38 PM, and then 11:18 PM approximately. Despite the fluctuations in the ETA, the tracking information indicated that there was no assigned delivery person. After contacting Mr. Vikas from Uber Eats Customer Care, a delivery boy named Subho was eventually assigned and delivered the food at 11:40 PM, but to my surprise, I received two combos of fried rice and chilly chicken instead of my original order. Despite notifying Subho and requesting him to return, he did not come back as promised. My subsequent attempts to contact him failed. When I contacted Uber Eats Customer Care again, the representative was unable to assist me and directed me to the helpline number. I am a regular customer but never encountered such a frustrating situation before. I demand an immediate refund of my payment for this incorrect order. I recently ordered a classic burger, side of fries, and a lemonade from bychloe, but noticed I had entered the wrong delivery address. I promptly canceled the order, only to be charged a cancellation fee almost equal to my order total because the restaurant had supposedly begun making my food. This seems inaccurate as I realized the error within seconds and believe it was unlikely the restaurant had started preparing my order so quickly. I feel the cancellation fee should not be enforced in this situation since I had no other choice but to cancel due to the incorrect delivery location.

My order has been delayed for an hour, and I'm fine with the wait. However, I am hopeful to get a refund for the booking fee due to the inconvenience. The order number is A2CB5. I received a call from Uber support stating the driver claimed I changed the address, which is not possible as I cannot alter it after payment. I placed the order at 3:32, and it is now 4:40 with an ETA of 5:12 pm. I have been patient and understanding, realizing the driver may be facing challenges, as this is a first-time issue for me. Some form of compensation would be appreciated, though fortunately, the order consists of cold sushi, not a hot dish.
