Hello,
I am writing to share a recent experience with UberEats that left me extremely dissatisfied. I placed an order for 7 people on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, when the delivery arrived after 45 minutes of waiting, it was incomplete. The driver brought only 1 sandwich, fries, and a smoothie, clearly missing several items.
Upon contacting UberEats customer service, I was initially promised a full refund. However, I later received a message indicating a charge of $35, significantly more than the value of the items I actually received. Despite my attempts to address this discrepancy with another customer representative, I was unable to secure a satisfactory resolution.
I find it unacceptable that I am being charged for an incomplete and inedible order, particularly given the poor customer service experience I encountered in trying to rectify the situation. I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from facing similar issues with UberEats.

I recently placed an order for delivery from Meet Fresh in Denver, CO, at 6:04. The order number is #[redacted]. I was monitoring the delivery driver, Patrick, on the map and noticed that he appeared to be nearby. However, without any attempt at contact from him, the order status suddenly changed to delivered. After contacting customer support and speaking with Patrick, I learned that he had given my order to someone else. Despite my efforts, neither Ubereats nor the driver offered any compensation or solution to the problem. The lack of support from both the driver and Ubereats was frustrating. I clearly provided detailed delivery instructions, but my dinner ended up with someone else due to the mix-up. I feel responsible for my food ending up in the wrong hands, but I believe the situation needs to be addressed.

I ordered 2 quantities of mutton stew from Arsalan Park Circus for ₹[redacted] on 23.01.[redacted], with order number C5252. Upon delivery, only 1 quantity was received, and the bill from the restaurant reflected the same. Despite contacting customer care to request the missing item, they insisted on payment for 2 quantities. After returning the delivered quantity and cancelling the order, there is still an outstanding balance of ₹[redacted] on the Uber Eats application. I would like to clarify that this amount is not owed as the cancellation was due to the restaurant's error. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly to reflect the correct status.

Having tried several delivery services, I am choosing to discontinue my use of Uber Eats due to multiple failures in customer service.
Initially, I encountered a problem with a promo code from Venmo. Though I applied it in the Uber Eats app, it ended up on my regular Uber account. Despite contacting customer service promptly, the code was not transferred within the promised timeframe, resulting in its expiration for both accounts. The representatives acknowledged the error but claimed they were unable to rectify it.
Additionally, a recent order placed at 6:30 pm was severely delayed. By 7:30 pm, the app indicated a delay, prompting a call to the restaurant revealing that the food had been ready but lacked a delivery driver. Uber Eats could not reach the driver, leading to the cancellation of my order. Despite my inconvenience and request for compensation, customer service was unhelpful, expressing an inability to provide any redress for the extended wait time.
Ultimately, the lack of consideration and responsiveness from Uber Eats has driven me to seek alternative delivery services. Despite having spent a significant amount through the app, the disregard for customer satisfaction is disheartening, prompting me to take my business elsewhere.

I am frustrated by the current food delivery system where orders are dropped off at locations far from the final delivery point. This happened recently when I ordered from a nearby restaurant but my meal was delayed by 15-20 minutes because the driver picked up another order going in the opposite direction. As someone on call for the hospital, I needed a quick meal and couldn't wait at home due to potential work emergencies. This situation was stressful, as the food got cold while the delivery was circling around. I hope the company can improve this process to avoid such delays in the future, especially in a busy city with many drivers available. Watching the delivery tracker move away from me was frustrating, and I wish there was an option to wait for the next available driver. This issue detracts from an otherwise pleasant dining experience with the service.

I made my order at 5:50, and the restaurant confirmed it shortly after. The delivery time changed from 6:30 to 7:30 due to courier cancellations. Despite my food being picked up around 6:50, it arrived at 7:30 frozen and inedible. Customer service offered minimal assistance, only offering a $10 credit after multiple calls to supervisors yielded no resolution. The service representatives provided conflicting information and one even ended the call abruptly. Despite contacting nine agents, I received no refund or solution. I am disappointed with the cold and clearly not fresh food I received. I now have to take my two-year-old out to buy dinner again because this meal is inedible and unpleasant. I am requesting a refund. This has been a waste of my time and highly inconvenient. As a result, my son will go to bed later than planned instead of being on schedule like he would have been with a fresh meal as expected.

I am extremely frustrated. I will not be ordering from you again unless you address my issue. I ordered breakfast from McDonald's through Uber Eats, and my order was incorrect. McDonald's could not help, so Uber Eats was my next contact. I have been waiting all day to hear back, and this situation has ruined my day. I've had multiple issues in the past with my orders; once I found paper in my food and had to go without eating. A typical delivery service allows customers to call immediately from the app to report issues and have the correct order sent promptly. The current process is unacceptable. The driver, Ahmed, claimed to have arrived at the back end of my street, but the food never made it to me. I made an order yesterday at 5:13 PM with an estimated completion time of 6:47 PM. I was informed the order was on its way, but when I tracked it 5 minutes later, it was canceled. The app then showed the order arriving at 7:08 PM. Despite conflicting updates and no notification of the cancellation, 2 hours after ordering, I still had no food. Customer service explained the driver canceled due to not finding the address or feeling unsafe, neither of which seemed valid. Even though I declined a reorder due to the delay, I was only offered a $5 credit, insufficient to cover the delivery fee. This is the second time this has occurred in a week, and the service was unsatisfactory. I contacted the restaurant, which was unaware of the missing delivery.

I placed an order for 24CBD from Denny's. Initially, I selected the first Denny's on the list but realized it was further from my house than I wanted as there is one only 5 minutes away. Despite placing the order at 9:20 am for an estimated arrival of 10:05 am, at 10 am, I received a call from the driver. She had waited for 15 minutes, and the restaurant hadn't even started preparing my order. After she tried to proceed, the order mysteriously disappeared from the system. Unfortunately, I was left without my breakfast, out $33.08, and will have to go hungry until my lunch break after 1 pm. I request a refund and believe some form of compensation should be considered due to the inconvenience and errors in the ordering process.

I am a frequent Uber Eats and Uber customer. Last Sunday, I ordered breakfast for my daughter, but unfortunately, I received the wrong order. The phone call I made to customer support was very disappointing. The representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and impolite. Despite my efforts to explain the issue, they claimed there was nothing they could do to assist me. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was informed that even if I got through to one, they wouldn't be able to help me. Despite this, I insisted on speaking to a supervisor. After a long wait on hold, I was connected to a "supervisor" named Carlo. I explained that my Country Fried Steak and Egg order was incorrect as it was missing the "white country gravy." Unfortunately, Carlo mentioned that since I received the main items, they couldn't provide any assistance. I found this response to be quite shocking. I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager, but was informed that there was no one else to escalate the issue to. Carlo confirmed that I would not receive a refund due to receiving "the meat." This experience has left me extremely disappointed, especially since I rely on Uber for both food delivery and rides. Dealing with this wrong food item issue consumed a significant portion of my Sunday and ultimately compelled me to consider using other companies in the future.

Yesterday evening, I placed an order on Ubereats with Order Number #3A18E for CHARCOAL EATS at 6:48 PM on January 27th. Initially, the amount was held by Paytm, then refunded, and later the delivery person collected cash. On January 27th at 06:08 PM, Rs. [redacted].45 was deducted, marked as on hold with "Refunded" in red, refunded at 06:49 PM, and deducted again at 06:49 PM. The same scenario occurred earlier on January 13th at 06:38 PM with Rs. [redacted]/-, marked on hold, refunded, and then deducted at 07:07 PM. This process is confusing, as when it shows "OnHold" with "Refunded_BACK" underneath, the expectation is a refund. I am seeking a refund and wish to unlink Paytm from Ubereats.

I'm writing regarding Order No. 6B164. I ordered a veg cheese sandwich and paid using Paytm. The delivery person asked me to come down to receive the order, to which I complied, as I have done in the past. However, upon going outside, I was unable to reach the delivery person by phone. Two different UberEats delivery persons outside my hostel confirmed they were not handling my order. Feeling frustrated, I attempted to contact the original delivery person multiple times with no success. After waiting for 5 minutes, I noticed someone in the distance who turned out to be the delivery person. He informed me he had canceled the order due to my failure to answer the phone, which I found confusing as I had only been asked to come outside earlier. Despite messaging him the exact address, he was waiting in front of a different hostel. This experience has left me disappointed as I have received orders successfully in the same manner before. I am requesting a full refund for the inconvenience caused by the inexperienced delivery person.

I am reaching out to your company regarding a frustrating experience I had with ordering food through Uber Eats. I typically avoid ordering from this service due to past issues with forgotten items, poor quality, and subpar customer service. Despite my reservations, I decided to order from Billie On Gourmet burgers tonight. The advertised delivery fee on the website was just over 5 dollars, a reasonable amount. However, after placing my order totaling over 50 dollars for 3 items, I noticed the delivery fee had suddenly increased to over 18 dollars. Feeling deceived, I promptly canceled my order, only to be hit with a penalty fee of over thirty dollars. This left me extremely upset. I contacted customer support, who provided little assistance and were unhelpful. I found this experience disheartening and disappointing. I am willing to share the manager's name and the reference number provided. It is unfair for customers to be charged excessive fees based on false advertising. I demand a full refund of the cancellation fee and improvements in customer service and refund policies. I await your prompt response.

Order #1: My girlfriend made an order (#C9042), but when it arrived, the delivery person seemed intoxicated and delivered the wrong items. She requested a refund for the missing drinks. Order #2: I placed order (#0C194) hoping for a different delivery person, but the same one arrived. When I tried to cancel, he was already at my door. I had a concerning experience with a driver from a food delivery service who entered my house without knocking. He was rude when asked to knock next time and this has happened twice now. It happened in Missoula, MT and the driver was a middle-aged man in a silver Nissan Versa. I feel uneasy about this and worry about his behavior with others. I contacted customer support, but they didn't address my concerns effectively. I am now hesitant to use the service again due to this unpleasant incident.

I ordered a large quantity of food for dinner from Awesome Sauce on February 3rd (Super Bowl Sunday). We waited for over an hour for our food. There was no phone call or knock at my door. Later, I received an email stating that my order was canceled because I didn't answer the driver. The restaurant mentioned the driver had picked up the order but couldn't assist further. I am dismayed by UberEats' policy allowing drivers to make false claims and take tips and food. I ordered wings, commonly enjoyed on Super Bowl Sunday; this driver exploited the situation.
