I made these orders to use my $3 Uber credit, but had to cancel the first one within 10 seconds due to an app error showing the incorrect total of $5.99 before the discount. The correct amount should have been $2.99 before the credit. After canceling, I reordered the same item, expecting the discount to be applied, but my Uber credit was not deducted. I prefer a refund of $2.99 for the canceled order and $3.00 for the missed credit, rather than receiving Uber credit. I worry about facing the same issue again and would appreciate a refund for the total amount of $5.99. Thank you.

I had a delivery last night from McDonald's but they gave me the wrong order. I only realized this after I had already marked it as delivered. When the customer noticed, I returned to McDonald's, but they claimed they were closing and couldn't help. I informed the customer, who kept the incorrect food, and said I would contact support. The delivery was from the McDonald's in Tacoma Parkland. The order consisted of around 3 Big Macs and other items and took place at approximately 11:30 pm. Additionally, there are reports on my account about deliveries taking too long. On 9/28/18, at approximately 11:30am, a delivery driver arrived at our property to drop off a Panda Express order for a resident. While I cannot confirm if he was a DoorDash driver, he might work for your company. The individual entered our leasing office and became agitated when we didn't provide him with a site map. Despite my assistant manager offering help to find the correct building, he refused to share the apartment number and visited our office twice yelling and acting aggressively. He came very close to hitting me with his wild gestures and loud voice. He even called me names and told me to contact the police. Ultimately, he didn't deliver the food and left hastily in a small black sedan with license plate 6ZEF745. I contacted the police, but as he had already left, I couldn't file a report. This incident left me quite shaken, and I felt it was necessary to report this troubling encounter.

After placing an order on Uber Eats, my phone unexpectedly died, causing communication issues with the delivery driver. Even though I provided detailed information about my location in an apartment complex, the driver had trouble finding me. Despite attempting to connect, my phone's battery failure meant I missed the driver's calls. Subsequently, the driver cancelled the order due to the inability to locate me and I was still charged for the undelivered food. Frustratingly, the lack of gate access codes at the housing complex complicated matters. Despite my efforts to find the driver upon realizing the battery issue, the cancellation stood, and I was informed a refund was not possible. This situation seems unfair as I made every effort to receive the food, even going outside to search. The driver's decision to cancel should not result in me being charged for a service I did not receive.

I ordered a meal from Kibo Sushi House via Uber on September 27th, [redacted], receipt # CC0DB. The order was for 1 teriyaki chicken with vegetables only and teriyaki sauce on the side. Unfortunately, I received a bowl of rice and vegetables without any chicken. When I contacted Kibo Sushi about the mistake, they claimed it was not their fault and directed me to Uber. Despite my request for the chicken I paid for, they refused to rectify the error. In the end, I had to escalate the issue to Uber for a refund. I believe Uber has processed the refund, but I wanted to share my experience. It would be fair for Kibo Sushi to bear the cost as they failed to fulfill the order correctly, displaying a lack of customer service. I hope this matter can be addressed appropriately. I placed an Uber Eats order from Hooters in Dallas, Texas around 11:40 PM with an estimated delivery of 12:15 AM. However, the order was delayed multiple times, and the estimated delivery time changed to 1:30 AM. I did not receive any communication until 1:20 AM when Uber Eats contacted me to inform me that the restaurant was closed and I would not be receiving my food. I questioned why I was able to order from a closed restaurant and why there was no earlier communication. Despite expressing my concerns, I was abruptly disconnected without any further explanation or apology. By this time, it was too late to find alternative food options as everything was closed, and I did not want to cancel the order due to potential charges. If I had known earlier, I could have made other arrangements. Now, I am left hungry and disappointed. I am requesting a credit from Uber to compensate for this inconvenience.

Order #2361D was placed at 12:55 pm, indicated as delivered at 1:05 pm but was not received. After waiting for 30 minutes, I placed a repeat order #11F7D. Surprisingly, the initial order #2531D arrived at 1:45 pm, 40 minutes after being marked as delivered on the app receipt. Upon inquiring about the issue, the delivery partner mentioned that the second order was canceled. At 2 pm, the second delivery partner asked about the delivery, and after explaining the situation, advised me to contact customer care. The customer service representative I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, insisting on charging cancellation fees. Their attitude was disappointing and unprofessional. I believe Uber Eats should address their customer service issues promptly.

During my recent trip to Los Angeles on September 28th and 29th, I encountered an issue with my Uber Eats delivery. Up until my fourth order at 9:22 pm, everything was going smoothly. This was my first time ordering from Uber Eats using the app. I attempted to order from IHOP, but encountered difficulties with the order not going through and receiving repeated error messages. I even tried using the desktop version of Uber Eats without success. Placing four separate orders didn't work either, so I tried ordering them one by one. The first two orders went through, but after the third, I was logged out and discovered my account had been disabled. As a result, I only received two out of the four food orders from IHOP and couldn't tip the delivery person. I hope to resolve this issue as I find the app very convenient and useful during work.

When my order arrived, the driver asked me to check the bags to ensure the correctness of the items. None of the items were what I had ordered, so he instructed me to call the customer service line. After being on the phone for about 20 minutes, I was informed that I wouldn't be charged for the original order and could place a new one without charge. I inquired about adding another item, and they assured me I would only be charged for the additional item. However, upon checking my account, I discovered I was billed for the entire amount. When I contacted customer service again, I was initially met with confusion. Even after speaking with a manager, I was denied a refund, despite requesting to review the previous conversation. I tried UberEats for the first time last night, but unfortunately, my food never arrived. I watched on the map as the delivery person cycled to my area, clicked delivered, but my food never came. I couldn't find a working number to call UberEats, so I used the messaging option in the app for undelivered orders. I sent three messages, but have not received any response yet. I'm disappointed with the app's functionality and poor customer service.

Hello, my name is James A. On September 30, I placed an order with Five Guys and it was delivered by a driver named Melissa. I was at work doing security and noticed on surveillance video that the driver arrived on the wrong side of the building at 4:19 and left at 4:24 without contacting me. Despite me calling her out for not delivering to the correct location, she mentioned waiting for 8 minutes and threatened to report it as undelivered. However, she did not report it, and consequently, I was charged for a delivery I did not receive. After contacting customer service, they advised me to send an email. I have video evidence showing the driver leaving 2 minutes after arriving at my door. Please let me know if you require any further details from me. I am requesting a refund for this order. I ordered food around 2 p.m., initially told it would take 15-20 minutes, but it's been over an hour. I called Fat Burger to inquire and was informed the food was ready but waiting for the driver due to an event on Wilshire. When I contacted support, "Julien" was unhelpful, refusing to escalate my concerns. The driver eventually notified me after nearly 2 hours, still without the food. Although the driver tried to make amends, better communication is needed to avoid issues like receiving cold, stale food. I hope to continue as a customer but improvements are necessary. After I started using Interests in Kolkata, I decided to order Biriyani from Sasta Thali to test the app and payment method.
