I wanted to share my recent experience with your food delivery service. One of your drivers, described as a tall, thin black man, was supposed to deliver my order from Sloopy’s in Manhattan Beach to [redacted] W 173rd St in Torrance, CA for Marlea Ramsey. After my order was confirmed, I received a message stating that the order was cancelled due to an emergency. I attempted to contact customer service but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. I am disappointed that there was no phone call explaining the situation, and I am left assuming the driver may have eaten my order. I've attempted to cancel my Postmates monthly subscription for four months now. Each time, they claim they are "working on it," but I keep seeing the $9.99 charge on my bank statement for February, March, April, and May. It's frustrating! Interestingly, I faced a similar issue with DoorDash's subscription, but in May, they refunded five months of $9.99 charges. Can anyone provide me with a phone number for direct assistance? I collected an order from the Apple Store as requested. Upon scanning it, the delivery address was provided, but the customer mentioned there was an additional item. This led me back to the Apple Store across town to fetch the extra item, incurring additional costs for gas and parking. Unfortunately, this caused me to miss several Postmates deliveries. The mix-up appears to stem from the Apple Store not recognizing the second item and Postmates allowing me to scan only one. As a result, I suffered financial losses due to a mistake I was not responsible for.

On June 8, [redacted], my Mastercard was charged without my authorization for two transactions. Although the delivery address in the app is correct, there are three other residents at the same address who are not connected to or allowed to use my debit card. My bank statement shows two charges from Taco Bell on June 1, [redacted]. I acknowledge responsibility for one charge of $25.94 but not for the other charge of $36.79, nor did I place an order from my phone to Taco Bell through Postmates on that day.
Additionally, I am receiving notifications from Postmates about food orders, despite not using the service since the June 1 incident. I contacted my bank on June 18, [redacted], and was informed that multiple unauthorized attempts to debit my account from Postmates have been made. On June 8, [redacted], two charges from McDonald's for $41.61 and $38.33 were also debited without my consent.
These unauthorized charges amount to $[redacted].73. My bank escalated this issue to the Fraud Unit after notifying me about the questionable transactions and attempts from Postmates. I had to previously cancel my debit card due to this issue and do not wish to do so again.

I ordered Subway, and the driver called to say they were out of bread and only had flatbread, which my household doesn't eat. I informed the driver I didn't want the order with that type of bread, and he instructed me to cancel it in the app. When I asked him for guidance on how to do this, he told me not to select cancel because of the driver but to choose "other." Unfortunately, when I followed his advice, the app said I would be charged $2.75 for cancelling, but my account was actually charged $20. I'm not satisfied with this and have already contacted my bank. Since there is no available phone number to call for support, I urgently request someone to reach out to me regarding this matter.

I made a purchase that was not delivered even though the status shows it was. The company claims my account history prevents a refund, which I find unreasonable. Despite several attempts, their response was unsatisfactory, simply stating they can't meet my expectations. This seems unfair as I've had no issues with my account history before this. Refusing a refund for an undelivered order is unacceptable and potentially illegal. It is frustrating that there is no option to speak to a real person over the phone to resolve the matter directly.

Subject: $74.00 Charge Issue with Postmates Unlimited
I'm writing to address a $74.00 charge on my account that I do not recognize. I believe it may be related to Postmates Unlimited, but I expected a monthly fee, not a large lump sum. If this is due to an error, I kindly request a refund of the $74.00.
I've only placed three orders between May and June, all paid for with tips included. One order was paid with a different card. If this charge is erroneous, I would appreciate a prompt refund.

I had a Postmate who was incredibly unhelpful with correcting my order. His behavior was very disrespectful. When I asked him to fix the mistake, he drove off, then returned while I was inside and complained to my aunt about my request. Despite contacting Jack in the Box since he wasn't answering his phone, they assured me they would provide the missing item at no extra cost. All he had to do was pick it up, but he still refused. Having worked in delivery and in a restaurant myself, I know this was a simple issue to resolve. I can't leave my home right now, and he just had to go back to the nearby Jack in the Box. His name is Jamshid M. I believe his actions warrant his termination from Postmates. I request confirmation that appropriate action has been taken against him.

On July 9th around 8am, a Postmates driver named Michelle R. delivered my Walmart groceries. However, I was disappointed with her lack of professionalism. She parked her car on my front lawn and damaged the grass and sprinkler, causing a small water leak. Despite my father trying to address the issue, she simply apologized, left the groceries on the driveway, snapped a picture, and left without allowing me to take a photo. I managed to capture images of the damage and have filed a claim. I am frustrated with her handling of the situation and am seeking compensation for the yard damage and sprinkler repairs.

There are at least five Postmates drivers delivering from the Walmart on Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, Virginia, store number [redacted], who smoke in their cars. One driver reportedly lives out of their car, smokes, lacks car insurance, and drives with an expired inspection. Walmart employees have complained about the smell coming from this individual's vehicle. Additionally, another driver, a woman in a Jeep, with holes in her pants and who smokes in her car, also has no insurance. It seems some drivers are not following rules and standards. The author is interested in potentially becoming the lead Postmate for the area. They emphasize that some drivers dress appropriately, do not smoke in their vehicles, have insurance, and are responsible and respectful individuals.

I placed my order at 9:24. The delivery was marked active at 10:39 with an estimated arrival of 10:29. I ordered beef and lamb from The Kebab Shop, but my food wasn't delivered until 11:01, taking a total of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It's important to note that beef and lamb can become unsafe to eat if left between 40-[redacted]°F for too long. These meats should be discarded after 1 hour at 90°F. I wasn't informed about the delay until the driver was only 6 minutes away, and they took an odd route, arriving 22 minutes later without updating me about the delay at 10:53. I am requesting a refund because of the food safety concern and the unsatisfactory customer service provided.

I made an order with Postmates on August 2nd for 2 plates of pasta. The total at checkout changed by about $10.00 during delivery, apart from the driver tip. I contacted Postmates support through a ticket but got no resolution after interactions with 3 representatives. Turning to Twitter support, my ticket was closed as 'resolved' without addressing my concerns, and the Twitter team is unresponsive. I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times with consistent prices and the order summary always stating 'Total,' not 'Estimated Total.' The sudden price increase, with no explanation other than the driver getting lost, is confusing as previous orders didn't have this issue. Requesting a refund has been met with silence. I feel ignored and just want a refund. This experience has deterred me from using Postmates in the future.

I frequently order from Postmates, and unfortunately, my orders are consistently incorrect. Today, I had to videotape my order to prove the constant mistakes. The drivers should ensure the orders are correct for delivery, but items are often missing or prepared incorrectly, making it hard to feed my family. This has happened numerous times without proper compensation. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service and feel like my concerns are not being addressed. I expect a resolution soon, or I will cancel my subscription and switch to a different service.

I recently ordered food from a local restaurant and received an auto-generated text stating that my delivery would arrive in 12 minutes, around 6:12 pm on Saturday, August 22, [redacted]. The issue arose when the driver went to the wrong hotel room due to my mistake, as I am staying in a hotel. Although I provided my email and cell phone number during the order process, the driver failed to contact me to confirm the delivery. As a result, I missed out on my $28 order and still have no food. I attempted to report the problem through the Postmates website but it only indicated that the issue was "resolved" without any further explanation. It's frustrating that I cannot contact the delivery driver or receive clarification on what happened.

Two days ago, I placed a pick-up order through the link on Google Maps. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found the restaurant closed, yet I was still charged by the Postmates service without the option to cancel.
I received an email expressing apologies but stating no refund could be provided for a pick-up order, which was quite disappointing. I prefer to discuss this matter over the phone, as I find the situation unreasonable. An email without a contact number is not sufficient for me.
I have decided not to use this service in the future and will advise others against it due to the poor service and lack of adequate customer support. I may even seek legal advice, as I believe that if Postmates allows orders to be placed through a link, they should ensure the restaurant is open or provide clearer closure notifications.

In the last two days, there have been issues with orders being taken and then canceled resulting in over $75 of my money being held. Two days ago, I placed an order with IHOP, the driver called me to deliver the food, but five minutes later the order was canceled with no refund. Today, I ordered over $45 worth of food from Popeyes, and within 15 seconds of placing the order, it was canceled, but the money was still deducted from my account. This situation is unprofessional and very inconvenient for me as a mother of two special needs children. I rely on delivery services because it's challenging for me to leave the house with my kids. These repeated issues with your company are causing significant problems in my life. This level of service is unacceptable.

I ordered from McDonald’s and received everything except the salad. The driver informed me they were out of salad and agreed to replace it with a meal but then refused upon delivery. I requested a refund, but the driver advised me to contact Postmates for assistance. Postmates replied stating they couldn't issue a refund after reviewing my account history. I believe my loyalty and feedback should be taken into consideration. While I praise Postmates when they do well, I also report errors by merchants and drivers, as it's not my responsibility to deal with their mistakes. I don't understand why my spending history doesn't matter when I encounter issues. I expect a resolution to either receive the missing salad or a refund instead of credit. This experience has left me disappointed, as I have stayed loyal to Postmates despite occasional mishaps. I prefer a seamless and reliable service, which unfortunately hasn't been the case here. I am considering deleting the app if this matter isn't resolved promptly and efficiently.

This is my third consecutive order that has been incorrect. The latest one was the worst experience. Initially, there was no available Postmate, then I received the wrong order with no follow-up after my complaint, and tonight the driver informed me that Del Taco confirmed the order was picked up, yet I received an email claiming it was canceled due to no available Postmate. The offer of $5 towards my next order does not address the ongoing issues I face. I received a call from Postmates, but I didn't get a callback number. The person who called spoke softly, making it hard to hear them clearly. They charged me more than what the vendor's receipts showed, with two different prices and charges. Even though we have unlimited free delivery. I am looking to clarify the charges and request a refund for the overcharged amount.
