Often, during my delivery runs, I encounter situations where I need to communicate with customers to ensure their order is accurate. Unfortunately, I face frequent issues with contacting them via calls or texts through the app. This leads to misunderstandings when delivering altered or incomplete orders, which can disappoint customers and impact my tip earnings. The inability to reach out to them directly hinders my ability to provide a smooth delivery experience. Can someone explain why I'm experiencing these communication restrictions on the Postmates platform?

I am a Postmates driver named James W. On Sunday, December 1st, [redacted], I took an order from Jamaican Soul Restaurant for delivery to a customer named Santi at 15 Mia Terrace in Rochester, NY. Due to the restaurant not accepting the Postmates card, I used my personal credit card to pay for the order and completed the delivery around 12:35pm. I have submitted two reimbursement requests for my expenses and earnings but have not heard back from Postmates yet. The order is still active on my app, preventing me from receiving new orders until it is marked as "delivered".

I placed an order with All American Pizza last night at 4:00 PM. The Postmates driver informed me that two items were unavailable - a salad and a two-liter of Sprite. She also mentioned that the pizza I ordered was on sale for $6.99. My total bill was $25.37, with $18.55 designated for food. Despite ordering three items, I only received the pizza, which should have been the only charge on my bill. Teneshia W made the delivery after a 20-minute delay due to difficulties closing out the ticket. All American stated they have no affiliation with Postmates. I have contacted support and received only apologetic emails stating nothing can be done. I'm frustrated as a regular customer facing this issue for the first time. I seek clarification on this matter as I am out of pocket for items not received without any resolution offered.

When I arrived at 7 Eleven, the clerk mentioned they didn't have the item the customer requested, so they canceled the order. Strangely, on my end, the cancellation didn't go through, leading me to pick up another order. I had to reach out to the customer to get the address for delivery. Despite the initial order not being canceled, I managed to deliver the second item. Upon contacting 7 Eleven, I was informed that the first order had already been delivered to someone else by another person.

I ordered my lunch from Albertos at 12:13 p.m. I have been waiting since then, and it's now 1:41 p.m., but my order has not arrived. I am extremely upset and hangry about this delay. I can't find a phone number for my driver, and there seems to be no way to reach Postmates customer care by phone. I expect my order to be covered or discounted, at the very least. Waiting this long for an order is unacceptable.

I recently placed an order with Panda Express for 2 orange chicken bowls with white rice. After waiting for 40 minutes without any updates, I called to inquire about my order. It turns out they ran out of white rice and substituted it with fried rice without informing me. When I attempted to cancel my order, I was charged $17 instead. The food I received was cold, which left me extremely dissatisfied with both Panda Express and Postmates. I won't be ordering from them again.

I placed an order today, December 4th, at 1 pm. Around 1:30 pm, the app indicated that my driver had arrived, but when I checked, she was not at my location. After contacting her, she explained that the app had led her to the wrong place, and she was in a parking garage. Despite using Postmates frequently without issues, this was a new experience. We spoke over the phone, and I guided her to the correct spot. Unfortunately, the delivery, which included a frozen acai bowl, arrived 35 minutes later than the expected time of arrival. As a result, the bowl was completely melted.

On December 4th, I placed an order with Cinnabon, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to receive it. After the Postmates driver informed me of a flat tire about 10 minutes after picking up my order, I waited for an hour with no further updates. As it was getting late and I had work early the next morning, I decided to cancel the order. I even suggested meeting the driver to retrieve the order, but they declined. Now, I am hoping to obtain a refund for this order.

After experiencing an armed break-in a week and a half ago, I feel the need for additional support. The time off work due to extreme stress has also impacted my finances significantly. Last week, I attempted to order from 4-5 restaurants, but they were either closed early or unable to accommodate multiple orders. I was advised to seek a consultation for assistance with these challenges.

My order was confirmed at 4:06 with an estimated delivery time of 5:15. It's now 5:27, and no delivery person has been assigned yet despite the new estimate of 5:49. Unfortunately, I have an event to attend at 6:15 and won't be able to eat at that point. I attempted to cancel my order, but the message states I'll be charged for everything except the 2.99 delivery fee, which seems unreasonable since no dasher was assigned, and there was no way to contact support for updates. Regardless of whether the food arrives or not, I won't be able to enjoy it by now and would like a full refund for my order.

Last night, I was asked to pick up an order from Walmart, but upon arrival, I found out it had already been collected by someone else. Subsequently, I received a return order for Walmart, but I never received an initial order to return. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out since last night, leaving messages without any response has been frustrating. I have been a long-time user of your app since you started and I remember that in the past, when there were issues with delivery or the quality of food, refunds were provided. I would like to request a refund for my recent order. The food I received was cold and inedible, so I had to discard it. The problem was not with the restaurant but with the delivery driver who was 30 minutes late and did not have an insulated bag, causing the food to become cold and hard during transit.

I ordered 2 plates from Zankou Chicken. When I called, the lady recommended the "tri tip shawarma" plate, which she said contained both chicken and meat. However, upon delivery, the hummus and tahini had spilled over the tri tip, making it inedible. When I contacted the restaurant, they were unhelpful, claiming they couldn't do anything. Now, I need to reach out to the delivery service for a refund. Spending nearly $40 on something my coworker and I had to discard is frustrating. I have never faced such an issue before, and I am disappointed enough to insist on a full refund.

In my communication with them, I expressed my dissatisfaction regarding the late delivery and poor quality of the food. I expect Postmates to take responsibility for the condition of the food when it is in their driver's possession. Despite the wrapping or packaging, the delayed delivery and inedible food are unacceptable. I promptly contacted Postmates via email upon receiving my order to address the issue. I am requesting a refund of $29.78 for the unsatisfactory service I experienced. The delay caused by the driver, along with safety concerns due to additional passengers in the vehicle, tainted the service I paid for. I did not receive the quality service I expected, and I firmly believe I am entitled to a refund for services not rendered as promised. This refund matter should be resolved directly with the restaurant, Zatar, and not involve me in the reimbursement process. I hold Postmates accountable for their role in this unsatisfactory experience, and I am looking forward to a resolution.

I was browsing for food on this website and another one to find a more affordable option; however, without confirming, the website processed an order and charged my account around $20. This was unexpected as I did not intend to make a purchase. Given my current financial struggles, it is crucial for me to get a refund. I received a notification stating the order was on its way, even though I did not authorize it. I kindly request a refund or perhaps store credits. I would like to cancel my order and place a new one. I forgot to include something in my order, and I received a notification that I would be charged if I canceled. I was informed that the item I wanted was unavailable, and if I didn't update my order, it would be canceled with a charge. It seems unfair that they can change the order and charge me, but I can't make changes. This experience is causing me stress, especially with hungry kids to feed. It should be easy to order, but this process has been disappointing and frustrating. I'm unhappy about having to spend my money at a place that doesn't have what I originally wanted.

Hello, I placed an order with Chipotle today, December 12, [redacted], around 6:00 pm. The app confirmed the order and stated it was being prepared for pickup. However, the Postmates delivery person called me to say that there was no food available. Our conversation was unproductive, and he suggested cancelling the order without providing further assistance or showing any effort to resolve the issue. When I tried to cancel the order, the app indicated that a fee equal to the original order cost would be charged. I provided clear instructions to call upon arrival as my location is above a business with a tricky entrance to find. Unfortunately, I did not receive any calls and instead received a notification to rate the order. I did not spot the delivery person's car, so I ventured out to check and found my food left outside in the cold weather at 30 degrees. The food was instantly cold and unappetizing, rendering it inedible. Consequently, I would like to request a refund as I did not receive the food I ordered.

I previously spoke with someone; I am disappointed to share that I ordered from Halal Guys expecting delivery, but it turned out to be for pickup instead. My default setting is for delivery due to not having a vehicle currently, hence pickup doesn't work for me. I am insistent on having this corrected. I am waiting for a refund as the system charged me for the order incorrectly. I find this situation unfair and not my responsibility. I am eagerly anticipating your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I placed an order at 4:38, expecting it by 5:30. The delivery time was changed to 5:05, but by 5:52, I hadn't received it. The delivery person didn't respond until 6:21, apologizing that the order hadn't come yet. I couldn't cancel as it was "out for delivery." The driver later said the food hadn't left. Despite the app saying otherwise, the driver couldn't cancel. After waiting past 6:30, I canceled the order. My family never got the food we waited 2 hours for, and I want a refund.
