Hello, I placed an order today, April 17th, [redacted], at Anaya's Fresh Mexican Restaurant with a confirmed order time of 12:09. The order was accepted and being prepared. A driver accepted the order and went to pick it up. However, at 12:22, the driver arrived and informed me that the address listed, [redacted] N 43rd Ave, Glendale, AZ [redacted], was not Anaya's restaurant but a seafood place called Mariscos el Paraiso de Sinaloa. The incorrect or outdated address led to me having to cancel the order as advised by the driver. Now, I am being charged a $29 cancellation fee for a mistake that was not mine. I expect a refund for this error and hope that my complaint will prompt the merchant to update their address to avoid this issue happening to others.

Hello, my name is Brandon Gardas. I recently signed up for Postmates and activated my card today. I noticed that the starting promotions are in Akron, OH, but I live in Minnesota. I've seen in videos that starting out, promotions are usually for areas near where the person lives. It doesn't seem fair to have promotions for a location so far away. I would appreciate it if something could be done to help me access promotions in my area like others do when they start. Thank you.

Yesterday, I placed an order with Chipotle around 3:20 PM. Despite the order being ready for almost an hour, my food wasn't delivered until 4:40 PM. Upon arrival, the food was cold, the chips were stale, and the bowl was soggy. I tried to contact my driver multiple times without success. When I reported the issues on the app, they offered a refund or Postmates credit. I chose credit, but now I can't find it when trying to place a new order. As a college student without a car, relying on Postmates, I am disappointed. I hope someone can assist me with this frustrating situation. Thank you.

I ordered beer for delivery, and the driver was driving around. After finally answering my calls (despite limited English), she arrived at my home. I wanted to meet her outside, but she insisted I stay inside. When I showed my passport as ID, she refused it, claiming it was not acceptable. I requested she contact customer service, but she declined and told me to cancel the order before leaving without explanation. I had to cancel the order but noticed a delivery charge on my card. I'm disappointed and won't use Postmates again. The company should review her delivery account. Her actions and refusal to help were not professional. I suspect she might be using someone else's account as she looked different from the app's photo. Can anyone assist me in resolving the delivery charge issue promptly?

As a delivery driver, I encountered an issue with a recent order from Whataburger. Despite picking up the order, I couldn't proceed in the app. After contacting the customer for the address, I successfully delivered the order, but couldn't close it in the app, resulting in non-payment. This experience follows a series of challenges, starting with a faulty card, then app issues. I use an iPhone and noticed changes post an update to Postmates, leaving me hesitant. My details are: Jimmy D. from Waxahachie, Texas, reachable at [redacted] or [redacted]

I need assistance with a recent issue at McDonald's on 7th Avenue and Camelback. During my last pickups, my card was declined after completing two deliveries. I tried to contact support but was unable to get through as the options provided were not helpful, leading to my account being suspended for an hour. This issue arose due to two closed Jack in the Box locations last Saturday night - one on Central and the other on 7th Avenue and Missouri. Both were closed for different reasons and I was unable to report it promptly as it was after hours. I would appreciate a timely response. You can reach me at [redacted].

I used the Panera Bread app to order delivery through Postmates. Despite receiving a confirmation and tracking email, the order still showed as processing 30 minutes later. When I contacted Panera, they said a Postmates driver had picked it up 20 minutes ago. The tracking then suddenly showed the order as completed. Usually, I receive updates from Postmates when my order is picked up and on its way. The restaurant manager tried to contact Postmates for 15 minutes without success. Eventually, I had to go to Panera to get my order remade. The manager mentioned that multiple Postmates drivers had come to pick it up, leading to my food being lost.

Hello, my name is Sonya U. I recently placed an order for three drinks at Starbucks through Postmates on April 22, [redacted]. After receiving notifications that the order was out for delivery, I encountered issues with the driver, Shirley. Despite the short distance from Starbucks to my house, she seemed to be driving in circles and not approaching my location. I tried to communicate with her through messages and calls but received no response. Eventually, she arrived nearly 20 minutes late. When I got the drinks, they were diluted and tasted like water due to melted ice. My attempts to address this through the app only resulted in a $5 credit, which did not resolve the issue. I feel the situation was handled poorly and would like a refund instead of just a credit.

A few weeks ago, my order from Jamba Juice in Phoenix, AZ via Postmates was missing 3 sausage breakfast wraps. I contacted customer service and was informed that a refund would be issued to my checking account, but I have not received it yet. Similarly, an order from Whataburger through Postmates was missing a cookie and a pie, and the promised refund has not been processed. Today, another order from Whataburger was missing 3 chicken strips, and I am seeking a refund for this as well. I appreciate your attention to these ongoing issues. Thank you and have a good day. Sincerely, Amy A.

On 4/20/19, I noticed a duplicate charge on my card for a recent purchase. Although the first payment went through, there is still a pending transaction for the same amount. This has caused confusion and frustration, especially considering the previous order was problematic and customer support was unresponsive. I have proof of the initial payment on my statement and request clarity on why there is still a hold on the funds. To ease this situation, I would like the duplicate charge of $35 to be refunded promptly. Addressing these issues and providing a resolution would greatly improve my overall dissatisfaction with the service experienced.

Last night, around 10:50 p.m., I was given the wrong address for a delivery to 54th Street Bar and Grill. Following the directions on the Postmates GPS, I couldn't find the correct location. After spending 15 minutes driving there and another 20 minutes searching, I failed to locate the place. When I contacted support, the automated responses didn't address my issue properly, leaving me frustrated that I couldn't speak to a real person. I believe I should be compensated for my time and effort since the mistake was not mine, but Postmates'. If the customer hadn't contacted me, I wouldn't have known the address was incorrect. Why am I not being paid for this error caused by Postmates?

I had an issue with my Postmate ID while delivering food to a customer. After completing a delivery on the app and receiving another one, I got a phone call from someone pretending to be a team member asking for my Postmate information. Unfortunately, this person turned out to be a scammer who took $[redacted] from my account. Please resolve this situation by reinstating my dashboard access and refunding the stolen money. Thank you.

I made an order that was delivered to the wrong address by mistake. I contacted my partner to help redirect it, but he ended up not responding and blocking my calls. Despite not receiving the food, the order was marked as delivered, and I was charged $30. I am a frequent user and delivery partner, and this situation is new to me. I'm hoping to get a refund for this particular order.

I encountered an issue where my account was compromised. On a late Sunday night, a caller claimed to be from the company and mentioned concerns about account sharing. The caller canceled my delivery, promising a $25 refund for the inconvenience. They requested verification through the last four digits of a card they mentioned sending to me. Subsequently, all my deliveries and cash outs were rerouted to a Visa card ending in [redacted] with an expiration of 4/23. Transactions include $[redacted].64 on April 21st, $[redacted].82 on 4/23, $12.22, and $39.16 on 4/24. Upon realizing this discrepancy, I contacted my bank, which confirmed non-receipt of these funds. I have since reverted to my original card and updated my password. I am seeking an investigation into this incident and hope to recover my funds from this potential fraud. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Christine Salas. I used to work with Postmates last year. Recently, I received a letter from the city treasurer of San Diego saying I owe a business license tax fee as I was considered a courier for Postmates. I paid my [redacted] dues when I filed my taxes last year. However, after filing and paying my taxes this year, I got this unexpected letter. I'm no longer with Postmates and never required a business license to work for them. Could you assist me in resolving this issue and waiving the fee they claim I owe? Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

My delivery account was unexpectedly deactivated after being contacted by fraudulent support. They canceled one of my deliveries that had taken too long and subsequently canceled another one. Even though these issues were out of my control, I'm unable to make any deliveries now. During a phone call, I was informed that the person who placed the order used a stolen card. I received an email beforehand stating this wouldn't affect me, but unfortunately, I cannot perform any deliveries. The email advised me to reach out to Postmates to address this matter and have my account reinstated so I can resume making deliveries.

On April 20th, when I was in the middle of my deliveries, I had accepted an order for a Wendy's burger, fries, and a small drink. Upon reaching the drop-off location, I couldn't locate the address, which seemed invalid. I informed Postmates about this issue. Subsequently, I received a phone call mentioning an investigation due to a possible stolen credit card. During this call, the person asked for my email and password under the guise of assisting me but seemed suspicious as they could potentially access my earnings exceeding $[redacted]. As a new Postmates user, I was unaware of the app's vulnerabilities, including the possibility of unauthorized access to personal information and financial details. Despite reaching out multiple times to Postmates regarding these concerns, I felt compelled to change my password independently. Later, I received an email indicating a change in my bank information, leading me to discover a strange bank listed (Green Dot Bank). Upon rectifying this by updating it back to my original bank, the account verification process has been stagnant for three days now. With no updates or payment of over $[redacted] from Postmates, I am left waiting anxiously. The lack of responsiveness and support from Postmates has been frustrating, with numerous attempts to contact customer service proving to be fruitless and time-consuming, leaving me in limbo regarding my earnings. Considering the lack of assistance and communication, I am contemplating discontinuing my association with Postmates due to the glaring absence of effective customer service for fleet members.

I placed an order at Bigg Chill in Los Angeles. Upon checking, I noticed my order quantity had doubled to 6 cups instead of 3. I canceled the order to adjust it, but Postmates informed me they would still charge my card $50. I contacted Bigg Chill to retrieve my order in person, but they mentioned that Postmates would keep the $50 without transferring it to them. Even though my order was ready, they insisted I pay again. If I cancel an order but pick it up in person while still being charged, the restaurant should get the payment or provide a refund.

I experienced an issue with my order doubling when I submitted it. Originally intending to purchase 3 yogurts, I was mistakenly charged for 6. Despite my cancellation, I was informed by Postmates that I would still be charged the initial full amount. Consequently, I contacted the restaurant directly to pick up my order, assuming I would have to pay the full price regardless. Upon arriving at the restaurant, they explained that due to the cancellation, they wouldn't receive payment, prompting me to repay for the order as Postmates had retained the entire payment without forwarding it to the restaurant. I kindly request a refund since the food was not released to me.
