I purchased a pair of Travis Scott 4s from a seller who is now unresponsive. I want to cancel the transaction and receive a refund of the $[redacted].56 I paid. The seller failed to ship the shoes, and now I cannot reach them as they have blocked my number on the OfferUp platform. I am seeking assurance that I will get my money back since I did not receive the purchased item or any shipment confirmation. I have been attempting to address this issue since yesterday morning, and I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter.

Last night while feeding my baby, I was browsing products on OfferUp to resell. I accidentally made an offer on an item I hadn't seen before due to nodding off. I asked the seller to cancel, apologized, and even offered some advice. Despite this, the seller accepted my offer. My girlfriend and I buy items frequently, especially formula for our baby since we don't receive assistance. I have a knack for finding good deals in tech despite poorly lit photos. I made a $[redacted] purchase, but the item I received was far below my usual standards for resale. I requested a refund due to the poor condition of the product, as it wouldn't meet my resale criteria. If this issue isn't resolved, we may stop using OfferUp entirely. It's frustrating to deal with sellers who don't meet the expected standards, especially when I could be investing time and money elsewhere for better returns. I kindly ask for a cancellation of this order and a refund.

I have been listing items on OfferUp for a while now. However, when I started changing my name and listing items recently, they are getting deleted, claiming that I'm not following the guidelines. I ensure to include the dimensions of the products and provide accurate information, but the items are still being removed within minutes of posting. I initially misunderstood the guideline regarding custom-made items, but I have since been listing specific ready-made products. I would appreciate assistance with this issue to be able to post my items successfully. You can contact me via email or phone at [redacted]. Thank you for your help. - Anisa

I made arrangements with a seller for an exchange, and we agreed to meet "tomorrow." I even took the day off, but when I tried to reach out to confirm the location, he never responded despite multiple messages. I accidentally left my cell number for texting, but still no reply. I had a positive impression of him initially, but now it's been two days without any communication. I'm hoping to verify the legitimacy of this seller, Peter, as I'm interested in the items he has for sale. I've exhausted other methods of contact, but he hasn't followed through on his promise to share the address for our meeting.

I recently sold an item on OfferUp and promptly shipped it the following day. Despite providing the tracking number after shipment, OfferUp claimed I didn't send the item. The customer received it, but I wasn't compensated. I possess evidence of delivery through tracking, contradicting OfferUp's stance. While attempting to reach OfferUp for resolution over the past five days, I've only received automated responses. Furthermore, my Gmail correspondence with OfferUp appeared in the chat thread with the buying customer. There seems to be a significant issue within OfferUp's system that needs addressing.

I have encountered 4 scam listings while trying to purchase a car on your website. It has been frustrating searching for a car for 2 months and coming across fraudulent deals. It's disheartening to think about the people, like parents buying for their children or seniors, who may fall victim to these scams. As a single mother in need of a car, I feel the impact firsthand. I urge you to address this issue and ensure a safer marketplace for all users. Thank you for your assistance.

I encountered an issue with a transaction on OfferUp. The shipping payment was not communicated to the seller, resulting in additional charges upon receiving the item. Although I paid for the item and shipping, I was surprised with a $3.02 fee to collect the package at the post office. I'm puzzled about how the package was shipped without the correct postage. I am curious to know who should be held accountable for the $3.02 fee, OfferUp, the seller, or myself.

I recently received a notification from OfferUp requesting that I ship an item to a buyer within two days to avoid cancellation. Due to the closure of the post office on Labor Day and the impending hurricane in Charleston, SC, I am unable to ship the item as scheduled. The uncertainty of the post office's reopening further complicates the situation. Despite keeping the buyer informed and prepared to ship the item, the lack of direct communication with OfferUp exacerbates the issue.

While browsing through an OfferUp ad, I received a message from the seller stating that the item is available. I was surprised by this contact as I only wanted to read the ad details and did not intend to interact with the seller. Even though I viewed the message, I opted not to respond. I am puzzled as to how someone was allowed to intervene in facilitating a trade conversation without my consent. Is this a common practice on OfferUp? I am uncertain if this aligns with their privacy policy or Terms of Service. This experience reminds me of a previous encounter with this seller where their actions felt questionable. I am curious to know if similar instances may reoccur and the reasons behind them.

Hello,
I am Gregory E. Myers and I am a big fan of OfferUp. Recently, there was an issue with my account. I allowed a friend to use my account to post items, unknowingly some were related to firearms and were removed by the team. I apologize for the mistake. After the removal, my account was shut down. I thought it was a technical issue, but I realized I might have been penalized as my posts weren't getting views. I have been checking my email but have not received any explanation from the team. I am contacting to understand the extent of my punishment - whether it's a suspension for a specific period or a lifetime ban. I hope it's not permanent. If it is, I kindly ask for an email notification. I also hope my mistake of sharing my account can be overlooked, and I get another chance to use the app. I have learned from this experience and assure you it won't happen again. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Gregory E. Myers

I emailed OfferUp Support on September 10 regarding an issue I experienced while trying to purchase an item on the platform. Despite following the seller's instructions to download the Cash App and make a payment, I have not received clear information about the shipping status of the product. I am concerned about not receiving the item or being able to recover my money if the seller does not fulfill the shipment. I have attached screenshots of my interactions with the seller to illustrate the situation better. My OfferUp Support Request number is [redacted]8, and I am hoping for assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I am encountering numerous issues with OfferUp and it seems I am not alone, prompting the consideration of a class action lawsuit. Presently, OfferUp is holding back $75 from my sold items. Each problem will be addressed separately, but the most pressing at the moment is related to an $80 sale made on September 12, [redacted]. The sale included nine items bundled together. OfferUp surprisingly notified me of the items being shipped and tracked by UPS shortly after the sale, even though I had not printed the label, packed, or sent the items. This raises concerns of possible misconduct by OfferUp with almost every recent sale. The transaction number for this specific sale is [redacted], made on 9/13/19. The buyer, Dan Scalla, paid $13 for shipping to Charlestown, MA 02[redacted]. Despite OfferUp claiming the items were shipped, this is not accurate as they were not dispatched yet. This is not the first time OfferUp has mishandled my funds along with the shipments. Your assistance in resolving this matter is appreciated. Thank you, Jan W. Email: [redacted]

Hello there, my username is Shianne. I'm currently selling an item, and I encountered an issue with the post office where they mistakenly marked my package as delivered in Chino instead of properly scanning it as accepted. The postal worker assured me that the package was delivered to the buyer, and I have a printout of their records showing this. However, there hasn't been an updated scan due to the initial error. I am concerned about not receiving payment if the scan isn't corrected. I have evidence to support that the package was sent to the buyer. Unfortunately, I can't upload the proof here. I urgently need guidance on how to resolve this as OfferUp will cancel the order soon, jeopardizing my payment. The buyer has received their package, so I'm hoping OfferUp can release the payment to me promptly.

I recently sold 2 wedding dresses and shipped them together. I witnessed the mail carrier pick them up and saw one being scanned on its way to Bakersfield. The other dress is destined for Pennsylvania, which typically takes 5-6 days. I promptly clicked the "it shipped" button and informed the buyer of the shipment date. However, OfferUp is now indicating they will cancel the sale, stating I did something incorrect. I believe this is unfair and frustrating.

Hello, I'm Dale Moore from Virginia. I've been using OfferUp for a while now, but this is my first time ordering and shipping using the website and app. Allnear offered me a pair of $[redacted] sneakers which I accepted a couple of weeks ago. Following instructions, I printed the label and shipped the shoes to him exactly two weeks ago. However, I haven't received any updates from him. My email still shows that my payment is pending for the past two weeks. Tracking information only states that the package was transferred from UPS to the post office on September 9. I'm worried about not receiving payment for the shoes I sent out. I've been unable to find assistance, so I'm hoping for a callback to resolve this situation.

I ordered and paid for an item almost two weeks ago. The seller, Joekeez, informed me that the order was cancelled last week due to it not being shipped. OfferUp also notified me of the cancellation. Despite tracking the package and seeing that a shipping label was created, no progress was made. I received an email from OfferUp regarding a refund, which may take up to 5 days to process. However, to my surprise, OfferUp charged my card without my authorization, as per a recent email. Even after Joekeez advised against requesting a refund until after the 21st, the package never arrived. It's now Monday morning, and there's still no sign of it. I have attempted to contact OfferUp through multiple emails, but have yet to receive a response. I'm left wondering when OfferUp will resolve this issue and where my item is since both parties cancelled the order, and I was charged again without consent.

Hello, I used your app to send an online order to someone, but they no longer want the makeup item. I am not expecting it to be returned since the sale was canceled due to my delay in shipping, caused by waiting for the other person to respond. I have screenshots of our conversations and proof of USPS delivery. If possible, please reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted] My name is Diana Snook. If you require further information, please ask. Thank you for your prompt response.

I recently sold two Betty Boop dolls to a customer named Paul. He paid a shipping charge of $3 for the first doll and $7 for the second. I mentioned that I could ship them together, saving on shipping costs. However, there seems to be confusion about the shipping of the first doll. I've been trying to contact Offer Up all day to clarify the situation. My aim was to be helpful to my customer, but now I'm facing complications. I hope to get paid correctly for both dolls, which should total $24.02 in my account after deducting the service fees. I ship both dolls in one box using the UPS label provided for the $7 charge. I would appreciate speaking with a human representative to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

As the seller, I recently encountered an issue with a buyer on Offerup. Even though I promptly shipped the two items she purchased and she received and liked them, the system erroneously indicated the order was canceled due to late shipping. Despite both of us providing ratings, I have not received my payment. My numerous inquiries through Offerup channels have gone unanswered, and I find this concerning. After reading similar complaints in the community blog, I am puzzled about how to resolve this and receive my due payment. The amount in question is not significant, but I value the integrity of the transaction process. I wonder if Offerup's financial troubles might be the cause of delayed payments to sellers like me. I am contemplating involving the local news to shed light on this issue. Your prompt response and assistance in addressing this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have not received payment for the item I sold weeks ago. Despite having the correct address listed on my profile, OfferUp attempted a withdrawal from my account that was unsuccessful. They claim my bank received the funds, but my bank shows only withdrawal attempts, not deposits. I feel like I've been given false information by OfferUp representatives who just repeat that the payment was sent. The issue seems to lie on OfferUp's end, but they continue to blame my bank. I am frustrated with the lack of resolution and assistance from customer support. My OfferUp support request number is [redacted]5.
