Could someone please explain why my account was recently suspended and then reinstated? I had posted an ad for gift cards, but two moderators quickly notified me that this was not allowed, and I promptly removed the posts. However, a few days later, I discovered my account had been suspended without any clear explanation. It would have been more helpful to receive some information about the suspension. I contacted a local moderator, who mentioned they are not responsible for suspensions and was unaware of any reasons for my account being suspended. Could someone shed some light on this situation for me?

I've been a member of Nextdoor Squantum in Quincy, MA for several years. Recently, my account was unexpectedly closed. After rejoining online, I noticed I was placed in Nextdoor Fenway Boston. This may have happened because my street name, Lansdowne Street, is in both Quincy and Boston near Fenway Park. Despite re-registering for Squantum, I keep getting placed in Fenway. I need assistance resolving this issue. Thank you.

I am having trouble with a lead who keeps blocking my account, no matter what I do. I unintentionally upset her by not following the guidelines, and since then, she has made it difficult for me. She isn't active on the site much, so other leads have to cover for her. I recently got reinstated but was blocked again. I was assisting a lady in finding a cat owner. I have brought in 9 new members in the past 7 months before getting blocked. Now, to my surprise, I discovered I have an ongoing case when trying to access my account. I am puzzled as to why I wasn't informed earlier. Please address the issue with the older leads, as many of us are considering leaving due to situations like this with Jennifer. I rely on the app for both personal and business purposes and have several others interested in joining. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my account because someone reported that I used a fake name. I provided my real name and even sent a copy of my driver's license with my address to Nextdoor. Despite this, I am still locked out of my account. It seems like someone at the company has my personal information and photo. We own our home, so I am confused about why I am being blocked. Unfortunately, not all neighbors get along, and there seems to be jealousy among homeowners due to income disparities in the neighborhood.

I reached out to Nextdoor regarding public shaming and reminded them of their lack of enforcement of community standards. I regularly post important community updates and factual information. Unfortunately, some members who may not appreciate these facts, especially related to laws and safety, seem to have caused me to be blocked. As a valued member of my neighborhood, I am surprised by this development as I have not received any notifications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I keep receiving a one-time sign-in code from Nextdoor that doesn't work. It seems like they might be trying to gain access to my email account. I shut down my email and restarted my computer, but Nextdoor still claimed the code was wrong. I'm skeptical of Nextdoor's intentions, as this issue has only increased my suspicions about their data collection practices.

I don't even belong to Nextdoor, but I am being harassed and verbally tormented daily by someone I believe to be a Nextdoor lead. How can I confirm if this person is a Nextdoor lead? The group is quite secretive about their roles, and I am fearful of them. Their actions have even pressured me to consider leaving my residence, causing significant tension between my friend and me, leading to a strain in our relationship.

I need to cancel my Business (Real Estate) Sponsorship as I will not be renewing my Real Estate License for [redacted]. It took some effort to get this far, including an unanswered email. I was annoyed by Realtors using Nextdoor for unsponsored listings while I was paying for it. Despite this, I appreciated the exposure. Please cancel my sponsorship. Thank you.

I recently raised concerns about local restaurants allegedly making sick employees work. Unfortunately, my account got suspended after others derailed the conversation. I never intended to name or shame anyone, only to seek information. I did not engage in any inappropriate behavior. Please reinstate my account so I can continue participating. Thank you.

I am having trouble logging in as the system is not sending any reset emails to my email account despite multiple attempts. In the meantime, I have found a lost dog in my area that resembles the picture posted on the website. The dog, an Alaskan Malamute / Husky mix, has one blue eye and one brown eye, and is a large male. According to neighbors, the owner lives within a half-mile of my location, but the listed phone number on Nextdoor is incorrect. I am located at [redacted] North Beechwood Ave, Rialto, CA [redacted]. Contact me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] if you have any information on the dog's owner. The dog was found near Jerry Eaves Park in Rialto, California, north of Foothill.

I have been attempting to contact you for assistance with an ongoing issue. I am a lead in the Des Moines, WA Nextdoor forum, but I never receive any emails from your platform. Despite adjusting my notification settings on the website, I still encounter difficulties. I have missed numerous important notifications and inquiries. When I tried to update my email information, I was prompted to do so repeatedly. A previous response from your office suggested the problem lies on my end, but I disagree as I do not experience this issue with any other website. I was informed that it could be related to my AOL email, which is inaccurate. Can someone please address this matter promptly? Thank you.

I'm facing an issue with Nextdoor where I can't access the 'for sale' section despite being able to access all other links on the site. Clicking on 'for sale and free' causes Nextdoor to hang with a blank page while other topics load fine. AVG and Microsoft have not been able to pinpoint the issue. I've tried various troubleshooting steps like restoring my system, removing flash and shockwave, and cleaning my computer. Next, I plan to uninstall AVG, reinstall it, and then consider trying another antivirus program. If the problem persists, I may uninstall and reinstall Nextdoor without an invite. This has been an ongoing problem for months, and I recently got a new computer from a Nextdoor ad.

I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback on the customer service site. The use of follow-up emails is thoughtful. I am experiencing an issue where one tab on the site, specifically the 'For Sale and Free' tab, fails to load. Despite trying different sources to select the tab, it only flashes briefly and then closes, leaving the Nextdoor page unresponsive. This doesn't seem to be a memory issue, as other tabs and links on the same page function correctly. It's possible that this particular tab is not recognizing my membership. Nextdoor's help page acknowledges similar issues reported by over [redacted] users, suggesting that the problem is widespread. Despite this, the paid support offered by Nextdoor does not seem to address or resolve the issue effectively. It appears to be an isolated problem related to the link's software, page design, or possibly a virus. It's frustrating that after numerous failed attempts, the paid solution still doesn't solve the problem for many users.

I am having trouble with my app. One account is disabled without a clear reason given. I try to be helpful on the site and rarely interact with others, so I am confused about why this happened. On my other account, there are issues as well. I was informed that I was not being nice, although I have been compassionate and offered suggestions to assist others.
Recently, I posted an ad for two disability scooters, but it seems someone has tampered with the ad and changed the price to free without my knowledge. I am unable to remove this error from the ad, and clicking on the button does not work. Now, I am receiving calls for free scooters, which were not intended to be free.
I feel like my ad has been hacked, and I am left with unwanted calls. I also mention things that I find important for my neighborhood, but I believe it is honest and necessary. Could you please help me resolve these account issues? I am a disabled senior who feels unfairly targeted and excluded from my neighborhood without cause.

I have tried multiple times to delete my account and have made three complaints to Next Door to have it removed, but they have taken no action. I am still receiving posts from The Haven at New Riverside and other neighborhood communities, even though I have moved to a different state. This ongoing communication feels like harassment to me. The lack of response from Customer Service is frustrating, especially when they require filling out a form that I have already submitted over 10 times. Despite my efforts, my account on Next Door remains active. In my opinion, Next Door's handling of account deletion is inadequate and needs improvement.
Please urgently delete my account linked to:

I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding emails I have received from Nextdoor. While I appreciate the recommendation my husband received from a Nextdoor member, I have been repeatedly contacted using his name without his consent. This has led to confusion as he did not refer me to use the service. I have attempted to resolve this by discussing with my husband, only to find out he did not recommend me.
My main concerns are the unauthorized use of my husband's name for soliciting business and the continuous emails sent without an option to opt-out or contact customer service. Due to this unpleasant experience, we have decided not to sign up with Nextdoor even though we were initially interested. I kindly request that all future solicitation emails cease immediately.

My service animal went missing late Wednesday night. The next day, there were a couple of posts about her from my and my wife's accounts. Unfortunately, the post from my account was somehow removed. On Saturday 1/11, when I checked for responses, it was gone. I reposted the information, hoping for the best. Similarly, my wife reposted and found her account disabled for violating the name guideline. She genuinely introduces herself that way to everyone. However, this was not an issue when you verified her identity with a postcard earlier. It seems that her identity was looked into further only after the posts were made.
I suspect that the residents at '[redacted] Mobile Bay San Antonio TX [redacted] in Adams Hill' had no intention of returning the dog, which could be seen as theft. The dog, being chipped and a registered service animal, adds to the gravity of the situation. Deleting posts and disabling accounts based on potentially dishonest feedback to keep a lost dog is not ethical or good for your business. It's also concerning that our accounts were only flagged for violating guidelines after posting about the dog, despite using the app for over 3 years without issue. Thanks to a neighbor who saw the new post, I was fortunately able to get my service animal back.

Hello, my account was unexpectedly banned without justification after being reported by different individuals with political views. I strongly urge for the immediate reinstatement of my account.
It appears that the moderation practices are inconsistent. While allowing highly political content to remain, individuals expressing opinions against the platform as a political forum are being banned - as I have experienced.
Failure to reinstate my account will lead me to actively discourage others from using your app during my free time. I am prepared to take this message directly to others.
If there is a desire to limit freedom of speech and individual expression, please be aware that actions may result in backlash from those affected.

I am currently unable to access my Nextdoor account because my old email associated with it is inactive. I forgot to update it before deactivating the old email. Can you please help update my email to the new one? If necessary, I can provide an invite code sent by mail as proof of residency. The old email on my account is [redacted] I have tried to reactivate it through Apple, but it's been over 30 days, so it cannot be accessed. Logging in prompts a code to the old email that no longer exists. I reside in Quailwood Park, and I'm willing to share my address if required. Thank you, Emberley.

I followed the advice of the Police Department and shared photos of juveniles who damaged my property. Soon after, other users began posting about similar incidents, but unfortunately, the post was taken down before I could gather any information. The content was appropriate, placed in the crimes section, without profanity or threats. I believe Nextdoor could be a valuable platform to address criminal activities and enhance community safety. It's disheartening that the post was removed swiftly, hindering my ability to collaborate with others affected and assist the police. Despite my efforts to remain respectful and considerate in my post, it was still removed. Upon review, I found no violations of Nextdoor policies. The Peoria police were interested in obtaining details from other users who reported criminal damages caused by the local juveniles captured on my camera.
