Nextdoor is the top social networking site for the neighborhood. It allows you to build connections with your neighbors and members of your local community.

Have you lost access to your Nextdoor account? You can recover it in a few simple steps. If you deactivated your account, you can reactivate it and continue using your account. You may also recover the account if you forgot your password.

Activating Your Nextdoor Account

1. Navigate to Nextdoor's website

2. Enter the email address you used to access your account

3. Enter your password

4. Tap 'Sign In'

5. Click 'Reactivate Account'

It is not possible to reactivate your account on Android or iPhone. If you deactivated your account and moved to a different place, you may need to update your address. Enter the address of your new neighborhood.

Before participating on Nextdoor, you must verify the address that you used to create the account. This step is necessary when you own a second home, rent or own a new home, own a rental property in the neighborhood, or own property where you plan to build a home.

If, after following the steps, you are still unable to recover your account, you should contact the customer support team and ask for help.

Resetting Your Nextdoor Password

If you forgot your password, you can reset it and recover your account. You just need to have access to the email address associated with your account.

Changing Your Password through the Web

1. Go to the sign-in page

3. Enter the email address that you used to join Nextdoor

4. You will get an email containing a secure link

If you do not receive the password reset email within five minutes, you should request for another one. If the email you receive is blank or missing a link, change the settings in your browser to allow cookies.

If Your Account Was Hacked

If your account is hacked, you may find it difficult to log in to your account after logging out. Report to the customer support team as soon as you can. If they are unable to help you recover your account, it may be time to deactivate your account. Follow these steps to deactivate your account.
