My daughter arranged a ride for me tonight with Anthony (CHQ7423 Blue Honda Civic) at 9:27pm from 53 Tranquil Place in Pooler, GA to [redacted] East 33rd Street in Savannah, GA. Typically a 20-25 minute drive, this trip turned out to be quite alarming. Anthony's Police/EMS scanner was excessively loud, potentially distracting him while driving. Despite the heavy rain, he was driving 70mph in a 60mph zone, making sudden stops and swerving to avoid collisions. The journey was so nerve-wracking that I was visibly shaken upon arrival. I hope this feedback helps prevent others from enduring a similar frightening experience. Additionally, I am requesting a full refund for this ride.

I have been receiving promotional emails from Lyft and would like to use them to give Lyft a try. However, I am encountering difficulty scheduling rides using the app on my Android device. When I try to schedule a ride in advance, the app is not showing the clock symbol that is supposed to be there according to online help, which is needed to enter desired pickup times. If I try to request a ride without scheduling in advance, the app shows a wait time ranging from 50 to 90 minutes, which seems excessive considering the number of Lyft drivers in my area. This wide time range makes it challenging for me to plan accordingly. I am curious as to why the ability to schedule in advance is not available to me or if there is a way to get a more accurate estimate for when a ride would be available.

Around 1 pm, a Lyft driver in a silver Hyundai Elantra with a New York license plate HJX8396 threatened both me and my brother, as well as other drivers on the road. He illegally cut in front of me in traffic, prompting me to honk my horn to avoid a crash. The driver proceeded to try to hit my car and cut me off repeatedly. After following me to a speedway, he menaced us, saying he would harm us, causing us to seek refuge inside and ask for police assistance. The Lyft driver then waited outside but eventually left. I have filed a police report and believe this individual should not be permitted to drive for Lyft.

I am Patricia F. I scheduled a ride on December 8, [redacted], from Hair Traffic at [redacted] W Washington Blvd, Culver City, to my home at [redacted] S Victoria Ave, Los Angeles. Unfortunately, after waiting a long time, the driver claimed to be outside but was not at my location. This happened with another driver as well, who was several miles away. I had to contact Uber for a ride eventually. I believe I should not be charged $5.00 for this inconvenience and request a credit. The drivers had difficulty locating me even though my location is easy to find on a busy street with a well-labeled salon. Your help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On Sunday, December 16th, at 1:31 PM, I encountered a Lyft driver with their logo in the window speeding through the Caldecott Tunnel. The driver unsafely tailgated my vehicle in hazardous conditions. Despite the rainy weather and traffic inside the tunnel, the Lyft driver aggressively maneuvered around me, cut me off, and provoked an unsafe driving situation. I managed to capture a photograph of the vehicle with the license plates and Lyft driver sticker. Before exiting the freeway, the driver even made obscene gestures towards me and my daughter. I am interested in filing a complaint regarding this driver's behavior. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you. - R.P.

I had a concerning experience with a driver who abruptly stopped in an intersection and was not receptive to feedback. I expressed discomfort about the sudden stop affecting me physically, but the driver reacted angrily. When I requested to cancel the ride and find an alternate option, he did not comply, leaving me stranded. The situation escalated as the driver made false accusations to the ride-sharing company. It was a distressing encounter, and I am now waiting for a resolution.

I am new to using Lyft and was expecting to receive a $50 credit as a first-time user, but only received a $5 credit after using a promo code. I decided to try Lyft instead of Uber based on the recommendations of friends. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly before I have to attend an important appointment in a few hours. I am disappointed that there is no live customer service available. Hoping to hear back soon. Happy holidays.

A driver picked up my children from their father's house and then refused to take them any further because his phone was dying and he didn't have a charger. Despite giving him directions, he declined to continue the trip. I informed him that I would report his behavior, but he was indifferent. He displayed unprofessionalism and lacked empathy towards my kids, leaving them feeling stranded. I suggested he call another ride, but he was rude and uncooperative, stating that the original requester had to reorder. This experience was disappointing and unsettling for me and my children. I need to address this situation urgently.

The driver, Kristin, displayed rude and unsafe behavior during my ride. When I confirmed her identity upon arrival by asking for her name, she responded sharply by stating that I should have recognized her by the car's details. I explained that due to being legally blind, I couldn't see those details, prompting her to rudely insist that all the information was available. Throughout the journey, she drove recklessly by tailgating and yelling at other drivers, even berating a pedestrian. She was distracted by her phone, loudly criticized directions, and expressed frustration towards Lyft's system. Kristin's anger and unprofessional conduct, including using profanity, left me very unsettled. I believe Lyft should urgently review her suitability as a driver.

As a Baltimore, Maryland Express driver, I rent my car from the Harford Rd. Pep Boys location. I began working with Lyft on November 6, [redacted]. Recently, after a ride from BWI Airport to Rockville, I had a flat tire and incurred a $75 AAA service charge. I visited the office to dispute the charge and it was supposedly resolved by a Lyft representative. However, on December 10th, Lyft notified me of the outstanding charge, flagging my account. Despite visiting the Lyft office multiple times to clarify, the issue remains unresolved. The representative initially stated I could dispute the charge, but now insists on payment upfront. Communication issues persist as the representative failed to note my disputes or actions taken to resolve the matter. I reached out to Lyft for assistance, but responses have been inadequate, putting my driving status at risk. I am frustrated with the lack of support and the escalating situation, as Lyft threatens to take back their vehicle. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have been a customer for some time now and I am looking to close my account. I have been patient, but unfortunately, I have experienced several issues with Lyft. I have noticed a pattern of misrepresentation with the estimated wait times for drivers. The app often says just a few minutes, but in reality, drivers take much longer to arrive, causing unnecessary delays. This inconsistency is frustrating, especially for those with busy schedules. On one occasion, a driver got lost, couldn't find my location, and then charged me as a no-show, despite my efforts to wait for them. I feel disappointed with the service and feel compelled to share my experiences on social media to see if others have faced similar problems. I am deeply unhappy with Lyft's service and will be advising my friends and family to avoid using it in the future.

I am a senior citizen living in Santa Monica and have been wrongfully charged by Lyft multiple times. On December 2nd, I called for a ride from the senior center at [redacted] Ocean Ave at 4 p.m. Despite waiting in front of the building as instructed, no Lyft vehicle arrived. I received a message saying I would be charged $5 for a no-show. After 10 minutes, I called Lyft again, but the same situation occurred. I ended up taking the bus home. Then, on December 13th, I called Lyft from Trader Joe's on Pico Blvd around 8 p.m. The driver rushed me and threatened to leave in a minute. Despite my efforts to find the car, I received another $5 no-show fee. This unjust charging is frustrating, and each Lyft call has become a nightmare for me.

My name is Amy Jannelli, and my address on file with you is [redacted] Golden River Drive, West Palm Beach, FL [redacted], in the Golden Lakes Village gated community. The main issue is that GPS provides inaccurate directions to my location. Today, I requested a ride and noticed the pickup address was wrong, so I cancelled and entered the correct one. The driver couldn't find me due to GPS confusion, and when I tried to guide him, he became frustrated, claiming such an address didn't exist. Being 88 years old and disabled, this experience was upsetting. I have generally been satisfied with Lyft until this incident. Can you provide clear, simple directions for your drivers to avoid this in the future? Additionally, I was charged for the ride I cancelled, compounding the issue. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

I wanted to report an issue with a Lyft driver. The driver with California license plate 6FEK407 has been parked in my driveway for the past four days, blocking access and inconveniencing me. I share the driveway with a neighbor who frequently parks there, making it essential for me to have clear access. I am considering having the vehicle towed if it is not moved promptly. I have taken photos of the situation if necessary. The car is a grey Toyota Corolla. I kindly request that you contact the driver and ask them to relocate to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Thank you.

I was recently informed that I am suspended from driving due to allegations of making inappropriate advances towards someone. I reached out initially to inquire about the situation but only received a response from Layla almost two weeks later. Since Layla is now unavailable, I am struggling to find resolution and it's affecting my sleep. As someone who has always treated others with respect, being accused of such behavior is distressing. It seems unfair that my side of the story was not considered before taking action. I am willing to take a lie detector test to prove my innocence and believe the accuser should do the same. This situation has left me without income, and the lack of communication from the company makes it even more difficult. I hope for a fair resolution and understanding from the company. - Rich

Good Morning, I am Lyquan Billups from [redacted] Glen Michael Lane, Randallstown, M.D [redacted]. I had a negative experience with a Lyft driver named William who drives a Kia Soul with license plate number 6DE-[redacted] and a California number [redacted]. Last night at 11:45 pm, I ordered a ride to BWI airport for work, but the driver never showed up. After numerous attempts to contact William, he finally answered, was rude, and refused to come pick me up, eventually canceling the ride after 38 minutes. This behavior was unprofessional, and it's disappointing that some drivers prioritize higher fares over providing good service.

I had a difficult experience with the driver who was not willing to drop me off at the correct address, which is the UCSF hospital for my doctor's appointment. As a cardiology patient, I struggle with long distances or uphill walks. I had to argue with the driver to explain that he was not dropping me off at the right spot, which was incredibly frustrating. This situation was very stressful for me and my blood pressure, normally low, was unusually high at my appointment. I am extremely upset about this ordeal, as stress like this can be dangerous for someone with my condition. I would appreciate a prompt response to address this issue. - M. S. Moore

Hello, I recently had my first Lyft experience and unfortunately, it was not up to my expectations. Throughout the ride, I felt uncomfortable as the driver was constantly on the phone, making and receiving calls. This distracted him from driving safely, as he was swerving in and out of lanes. One call he took seemed personal, giving the impression that he was more interested in that conversation than in providing a good service. Additionally, despite knowing about an upcoming right turn, he delayed changing lanes until the last moment, creating a risky situation. If this behavior aligns with your company's standards, I may have to reconsider using your service in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
