I have been attempting for 2 hours to log into Lyft to start driving. The platform keeps indicating that my phone number and driver's license do not match, even though I have always used the same ones. I've made several attempts, re-sent my driver's license, and received unhelpful emails. This issue is causing me financial loss, and I am on the verge of giving up entirely. I am feeling extremely frustrated as I need to earn money, especially on what Lyft claims to be the busiest night of the year. I require assistance urgently to resolve this matter and begin driving. Please assist me as soon as possible. Thank you.

Tonight, I attempted to work, but the app prevented me and despite 2 1/2 hours of trying, I couldn't log in. I am extremely frustrated due to the lack of customer service. The employee help representatives were unhelpful, and this experience was disappointing. I received messages about tonight being a great night for work, but I couldn't access the app. Despite multiple attempts at the help desk and emails reassuring me my information was correct, I still couldn't log in because my driver's license didn't match my phone number and had issues with recaptcha. I spent money on gas driving from Warrensburg, MO to Kansas City, MO for the nearest pick-up point, only to be unable to work. This experience was costly, stressful, and led me to delete my Lyft account. All I needed was an instant live representative hours ago.

I paid for an additional stop on my Lyft ride, and the driver's behavior was exceptionally rude and disrespectful. He even threatened to leave me and my child at the store and dump our belongings on the side of the road, claiming there was no recourse from either me or Lyft. Despite being in the store for only 10 minutes, the driver was irate about the wait during the holiday rush. It was shocking to encounter such unprofessionalism. The driver insisted that Lyft's policy requires stops to be under 5 minutes. This experience left me deeply upset and disappointed in the quality of drivers representing Lyft. I feel compelled to raise this issue for prompt resolution.

Upon entering the car, the driver took a different route to avoid the freeway due to traffic concerns, despite my willingness to sit in traffic and avoid extra charges. After 40 minutes, we had only just passed DuPont, with the driver navigating various routes without my instruction. Despite my preference to endure traffic, the driver made a rude remark. Instead of the estimated 1 hour and 30 minutes on the map, the journey took 2 hours following his chosen path. I did not request an alternative route and explicitly told him not to take it. He assured me there would be no extra charge. Originally planning to pay $60 for a 1.5-hour ride, I now find myself paying $85 for an unwanted 2-hour trip. I seek a resolution by receiving the $15 difference back.

Upon entering the car, the driver took an alternate route to avoid freeway traffic, even though I mentioned I was okay with the traffic and did not want any additional charges. Regrettably, he deviated from the usual path, extending the journey. Despite my tolerance for traffic, he made unrequested detours without my consent. When I reaffirmed my indifference towards traffic, he responded rudely. The estimated 1.5-hour trip to my destination would have lasted two hours following his chosen route. I did not request a different direction, and explicitly advised against it. I sought clarification on additional charges, to which he assured me there were none. Originally, the fare was set at $60 for the shorter ride, yet I now find myself charged $85 for the longer, unsolicited journey.

Since moving to Philadelphia 2 years ago, I've relied on Lyft twice a day. At Bainbridge St, between 3rd and 5th street, there's an island with cars where I am located. Every time, I have to call the drivers to provide my exact location for pick-up. As winter approaches and I travel frequently, I find it inconvenient to walk around the block or make repeated calls. I've reached out to Lyft via email at least three times but haven't received a response or seen any improvements. It's frustrating to not have a customer service number to call and only rely on email support. I expect better communication considering the amount of money I've spent on Lyft rides. I urge Lyft to address these issues promptly and provide better customer service. Thank you.

Hello, I have been attempting to use the Lyft Express program for almost a week now. The state saved on my account is incorrect; California is listed instead of my correct address in Johns Creek, GA. Despite numerous efforts, I am unable to remove the incorrect information during the application process. I urgently need it to be updated to reflect my current address at [redacted] Masters View Ct., Johns Creek, GA [redacted]. I have tried contacting the Help Desk through the app's help link, but unfortunately, it takes days to receive a response and the issue remains unresolved. I am eager to participate in the Lyft Express program and have the $[redacted] fee ready, pending this correction. I have been unable to find a phone number or live chat support for assistance, making this my only option. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am reaching out to address a safety concern with Lyft. Despite initial involvement from the safety team, I have faced significant challenges in communication and resolution. I have sent multiple emails and made numerous calls without any response. This issue involves a serious safety incident resulting in police involvement, yet the handling of the case lacks transparency and fairness. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication and the punitive actions taken against me. I am requesting to be connected with a different safety team that values accountability. Additionally, I seek a corporate contact to address these negligence concerns. It is crucial that my account status and ignored emails are explained promptly and fairly. I urge for a thorough investigation separate from the current team involved in this case to ensure transparency and proper handling of this matter.

On Monday night, I requested a ride from the Huntington Theatre, but the driver couldn't locate us. Despite the rainy weather, the driver remained stationary at Dunkin Donuts across the street and didn't assist in our predicament. We, a group of elderly individuals, had to navigate through traffic and difficult weather conditions to reach the driver at Dunkin Donuts, only to find them gone upon arrival. It was unsettling to be left stranded in inclement weather without any attempt from the driver to communicate or provide assistance. I don't believe it's fair to be charged a $5 cancellation fee for a situation that was out of our control.

Today around 5 pm EST, a Lyft driver on Red Oak Drive in Elkins Park, PA [redacted] sped past me, almost hitting me and my dog while we were walking. There are no sidewalks, so I was forced between the driver's car and a stopped truck. I confronted the driver with his passenger and requested him to be more cautious to prevent accidents. I hope to receive a response from Lyft regarding this incident, even though it was hard to find contact information. It appears Lyft may only be open to feedback from paying customers.

On Wednesday, November 28, I was picked up at [redacted] Post Street by the driver, Raulel. He took me on a very long and convoluted route to my home. Despite living in San Francisco since [redacted], he went in directions away from my home, even driving through alleys and a dead-end street. Although he claimed to be following GPS, I felt he was lost. I had to insist he take me back on track to Mission Street. I have used Lyft for medical appointments many times and never experienced such a problematic ride. Please investigate this driver and trip, and explain why this occurred and how I can handle such situations in the future. Contact me after 3:00 p.m. due to my work schedule. Thank you, Joyce Hume.

Today, on November 29, [redacted], I was supposed to be picked up by Doralba at [redacted] Washington Street in Newark. However, there was a misunderstanding as they were waiting at [redacted] Washington Street. After some confusion, I asked for the ride to be canceled due to the cold weather and having a baby with me. Unfortunately, Doralba did not cancel the ride promptly and even started driving while I was trying to communicate with her. When I realized this, she ignored my calls, eventually canceling the ride. I have photographic evidence of the events. The situation was unacceptable, and I believe I deserve a credit as I had to get a Lyft ride with David instead.

I was overcharged on a recent ride from Norwalk Metrolink train station to Fullerton train station. The GPS led us astray even though the address was correct. My driver, Manuel Rosales, reassured me he wouldn't charge extra for the inconvenience. Despite the trip normally being 12 miles and 17 minutes, we ended up with a bill close to $[redacted] due to getting lost. I kindly request, with Manuel's approval, to only be charged for the actual distance traveled and be refunded the difference. Manuel can confirm this. His contact number is [redacted]. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

I arranged for a ride last night on November 29th for a 5:30 a.m. pickup on November 30th. However, when I scheduled the pick-up, a driver was already close to my location, so I had to cancel. I rescheduled, but encountered the same issue with another driver. Despite this, a driver arrived at 5:30 a.m. as planned, but my brother took the ride. I was then charged a $5 fee for canceling a trip accidentally and later charged $10 for a missed ride. Additionally, there was a discrepancy in the trip cost, as it was initially quoted at $21 but ended up being $27 or $28.

I recently requested a lift from in front of Walgreens on the corner of 4th and Market Street in San Francisco. The driver initially claimed to be one minute away but later informed me it would take at least 15 minutes to arrive and requested I walk a few blocks to meet him near Parc 55 Hotel, which seemed unreasonable given the lack of traffic. I ultimately had to cancel the ride, and now I am being threatened with a cancellation fee. I hope to avoid this charge or receive a credit on my account. My contact number is [redacted].

I would like to address two incidents with your service. The first incident occurred approximately three weeks ago when one of your drivers almost had an accident while taking my son to school. The driver was speeding and the car hydroplaned into an embankment. Despite reporting this, no action was taken. The second incident involved a driver named Tyler who drove me home from work yesterday. He was speeding, texting, and had to brake suddenly several times to avoid hitting the car in front. I am concerned about the safety of your drivers and the lack of response from your company. Please contact me promptly to resolve these issues at [redacted]. Thank you.

I scheduled a Lyft pick-up in Midwest City, and their estimated arrival time was 16 minutes, but they arrived after only five minutes. It caught me off guard, as I was still getting ready. Furthermore, they didn't call the number I provided for contact upon arrival and instead sent a text about a $5 waiting charge. I hope for more transparency in their services in the future. I am now waiting for their pick-up, having already made the payment. Thank you. - Russell H.

To Whom It May Concern, I have been trying to reach Lyft for two weeks regarding charges on my account. On 11/09/[redacted], Lyft charged my account four times: $9.95 at 2 PM, $11.03 at 3 PM, $10.74 at 5 PM, and a $5.00 trip cancellation fee. I did not cancel any trips; therefore, that charge is invalid. I have disputed the other charges from the same day. Lyft, please rectify these incorrect charges promptly. If not, I may involve my lawyer. I no longer wish to use your transportation services due to this issue and the lack of a contact phone number for clients. I am requesting a refund for three out of the four charges. Sincerely, Maria D. S.

On 11/29/18 at 4:36 PM, I requested a Lyft ride from [redacted] Clinton Street in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, the driver did not arrive at the correct address despite mentioning both [redacted] and [redacted] Clinton Street. This has happened twice before, once at [redacted] Church Street where a driver was on Park Place instead of the requested address. Today, after a doctor's appointment for an asthma attack, I had to request another ride. The second driver successfully located me. I've been charged for rides where the drivers failed to reach the correct location. I was once told by a driver that traffic was the reason for not arriving at [redacted] Church Street. I believe some drivers are lazy and not fulfilling the requested destinations. Please address the charges for the rides where I was present but the driver did not show up. Thank you.

I'm feeling a bit perplexed as to why I'm spending approximately $[redacted] per month on Lyft rides back and forth to various destinations. However, my spouse recently informed me that he receives a 25% discount on each ride and pays around $15 less per ride than I do. He usually travels seven miles between work and home, whereas I frequently go to airports and cover distances of over 50 miles each way. Additionally, I often give $[redacted] in cash tips to your employees who seem unhappy, mentioning they earn only about 50% of what you charge us as customers. The only way I can get a discount is by referring a "friend," only valid in the Norwich area, which seems unfair. Despite the fact that I use Lyft a lot more than my spouse, I end up paying significantly more. Can you please explain this discrepancy to me, or should I consider switching to Uber instead? Thank you for your attention and assistance.
