Hello, For months, we have been waiting to regain access to our hacked Instagram account. We have sent numerous emails but have not received a response. The account disappeared, then reappeared without our control. We are unable to take any actions like posting or engaging, which is very problematic for our business. Our followers were gained through hard work, and now we are unable to do anything for several months without having violated any rules. Is there a solution to recover our legitimate account? I have also regained access to my email account with the help of Apple support, but I am still locked out of my Instagram account. I attempted to report the account to prevent the hacker from accessing it and asked friends to do the same. Thankfully, I managed to recover my account. However, I played a prank on one of my friends by pretending to be the hacker offering inappropriate services. This led him to report my account mistakenly, mentioning child-related content, which is untrue. He shared the text message conversation with me while reporting. My Instagram account was hacked on Sunday. I live in Canada and received an email from Instagram stating that someone logged into my account from Florida. Instagram prompted me to secure my account by changing the password. However, during the process, it required a 6-8 digit code for two-step authentication which I never set up. The hacker also changed the email and phone number associated with my account. Despite receiving an email from Instagram about the modifications made, the link to revert the changes was expired. The following day, Monday, my friends informed me that the hacker was using my account to post and message people for scams. I am eager to regain access to my account promptly. The account was illegitimately hacked from Nigeria, and the hackers are soliciting money and other things. I receive numerous calls and messages daily. I recently downloaded a followers tracking app that allows me to see who unfollowed me on Instagram. After logging into this app using my Instagram account, I found myself locked out of my actual Instagram app. I received a temporary block message due to phishing suspicions, as it seems the app mimicked Instagram and used my same login details. To regain access, Instagram said they would email me a 6-digit code. I have checked my spam folder and attempted to resend the code multiple times without success. I'm feeling quite hopeless as I have tried reaching out to Instagram and testing different devices and browsers to resolve the issue.

Despite changing my password, I can't access my account due to the verification code being sent to the hacker's number. I'm in urgent need of help to resolve this alarming situation. I am constantly prompted for an 8-digit code when trying to log in, even after changing my password. I never enabled two-step verification, which complicates regaining access as the code is being sent to the hacker's number.
