I am reaching out on behalf of my client, Mr. Savas Kulcu, who had an Instagram account a few years ago with a following of 2,[redacted]. Unfortunately, his follower count has dramatically decreased to 1,[redacted]. Mr. Kulcu contacted Instagram's support number and was asked for money. When he refused, he faced threats and felt helpless as nobody helped him. He then turned to the local Turkish police, only to find them uncooperative.
On October 20th at 9:01 am (PDT), illegal users from Mersin, Turkey, accessed his account using a new email address and username. The hacker's email is [redacted] and their phone number is [redacted][redacted].
My client is urgently requesting Instagram to either permanently close his compromised account, or if feasible, to recover it and link it to his new email ([redacted]) and phone number ([redacted][redacted]).

I am unable to access my account as the associated phone number and email have been altered. I am attempting to recover my account, but if that is not possible, I would like to explore the option of deleting it entirely.
The situation began on Monday, November 8, [redacted], when an old classmate contacted me about a stock trading account giveaway offering $10,[redacted] for free. Despite initial skepticism, a video on their account convinced me to participate. After registering on legalforex.com, I shared my login information with my classmate as instructed. Following this, I was asked to create a video endorsing the investment, though I had not actually invested any money.
Subsequently, I was locked out of my account and unsure who posted unauthorized content from it. While conversing with my classmate through a different account, I am unable to provide specific details about the linking system or the company involved. I realize my error in trusting others with my account information and jeopardizing my security. Although no money was lost, I am contemplating involving the police to track the hacker.

About three weeks ago, when I opened the Instagram app, I noticed that I was logged out of my account. After numerous attempts to sign back in, I kept receiving messages stating that the user was not found or that the password was incorrect. I reached out to Instagram, verified my account, and they informed me that my account had been disabled. I did not receive any prior warnings or explanations for this action. It's important to note that I haven't posted anything on the account for months and have not violated the platform's terms and conditions. My account was locked about 22 days ago, and it still hasn't been unlocked. I was using a mobile app to check who wasn't following me back on Instagram when my account suddenly got locked. Despite reaching out to Instagram support multiple times since the issue occurred, I have not received any response from them. I have been an active user since [redacted] with [redacted] posts and nearly [redacted] followers. Creating a new account would not be a quick fix given the time and effort it took to build this following, not to mention the 50AUD I spent on ads to boost my posts. Losing access to my account has left me feeling mentally exhausted and unable to focus on other tasks. I typically spend around 70% to 80% of my social media time on Instagram, where I have cherished memories dating back to [redacted]. As I am heading to Dinner Plain, Victoria, Australia for my summer break in just 4 days, it is crucial for me to regain access to my account to share updates. About a week ago, my Instagram account got hacked. I got a message offering money if I answered a question. I did, and then the hacker wanted my Cash app details. They insisted I change my email to receive the money, and even though I had doubts, I foolishly followed their instructions. When I tried to revert the change, I couldn't. Now, the hacker is using my account for bitcoin scams. I usually avoid such obvious scams, but I made a mistake this time. If you can assist in any way, I would appreciate it. On November 16th, I shared a screenshot on my story from a Telegram chat featuring a message from a bot seeking a sugarbaby arrangement. Despite finding it humorous and adding a caption, the post was taken down for violating Community Guidelines related to 'nudity or sexual activity.' After requesting a review, the post was flagged once more, leading to the disablement of my account @w.enwei as well as others I was logged into, such as @bluntbabyg, @shanghaigreenbaby, and @winsor.officialfanclub. Despite attempting to log back into @w.enwei the next day, I was informed by Instagram that my account had been deleted. Subsequently, my attempts to appeal the deactivation and regain access via Facebook were also unsuccessful due to the accounts being interconnected. This has resulted in me being unable to access any active accounts from either my phone or computer, possibly due to my IP address being blocked as a result of content mistakenly flagged by AI for guideline violations. My efforts to appeal this decision to Facebook through a form submission have thus far been fruitless.

I need help reporting a scam on Instagram. I was misled into giving money to a person posting fake information claiming to be a legitimate business.
