I recently purchased the Brimnes wardrobe, but unfortunately, the back panel and hardware were missing upon assembly. I have reached out to Ikea via email twice but have only received automated responses. The nearest Ikea store is nearly a two-hour drive away, and I am feeling increasingly frustrated by the suggestion to make the trip for the missing pieces that were not included in the box. All I want is to be able to store my clothes properly, and it has been over a week since this issue arose.

I am disappointed with the lack of response from IKEA customer service regarding my purchase of a BRIMNES [redacted].[redacted].71 black vitrine from the Sofia store. Upon attempting to assemble it in Skopje, I discovered that the parts were used and damaged, with the side boards identical rather than left and right as required. I have attached pictures in my previous emails to illustrate the issue. Despite a call from a customer service representative assuring me a decision would be made, I have been unable to reach anyone since. Waiting on hold for 10 minutes in an international call without assistance is frustrating. As a loyal IKEA customer with all my furniture purchased from your store, this experience is disappointing. I am requesting a full refund or voucher for the same amount due to the inconvenience and expenses incurred in Skopje. I placed an order, and mistakenly, it was sent to the billing address instead of the shipping address. Upon contacting the delivery personnel, they were heading to our Florida address. I immediately contacted Ikea, and an employee assured me that the order was canceled, we would receive a full refund, and we could reorder the items. We visited the store, repurchased the items, and brought them home. However, the refund has not shown up yet. When I spoke to Jeff B. from customer service, he confirmed the refund was being processed and advised us to wait up to 3 days. It's been over a week, and the refund has not been issued. Hello, I would appreciate discussing an issue I am facing with the kitchen worktop in a property I recently acquired. The kitchen is entirely Ikea, likely purchased in Edinburgh. Even though I did not buy the worktop myself but received it as part of the property sale, I believe it has not been suitable for its intended use despite regular maintenance. On December 22, [redacted], I made a purchase at your store and unknowingly chose a carrier bag resembling the yellow ones. When my dad, holding the bag, was approached by a security guard, a language barrier led to a misunderstanding that could have been handled more appropriately by the staff. I later overheard the security guard making fun of my dad with other employees. I am utterly disappointed, shocked, and appalled by the way a staff member ridiculed my father. This incident should never have happened, and I am requesting an official apology. Considering my father's status as a foreigner with English as his second language, I believe the staff should demonstrate more understanding in such situations. Facing any form of xenophobia is unacceptable for my family or anyone else. I anticipate a prompt response, as without a deserved apology, I will not be returning to your store.

I bought two large wardrobes when I moved into my new home last summer. Since the first day, these wardrobes have been of poor quality, with the wood falling apart. This poses a safety hazard and renders them unusable. I am requesting a full refund and replacement with two new wardrobes of equivalent value. I recently purchased the Hemmes large dresser in gray from your New Haven, CT store a few weeks ago. While assembling it today, I discovered that the center internal board is warped, rendering the dresser impossible to put together. This issue has been frustrating, especially after spending hours laboring over it on my day off, taking away precious time with my family. Unfortunately, the distance to your store makes it inconvenient for me to return the item promptly. I bought a basic sewing machine back in [redacted], which I only use occasionally for household tasks. Today, when I tried to use it, I noticed that while the top stitches look smooth, the stitches underneath are all tangled up. I have the needle thread tension set at 4, but I'm unsure about how to fix this tension issue. I have always used the machine without any problems until today. I purchased the Strandom N wing chair from Birmingham Ikea store on 13.12.[redacted]. After assembling it, I discovered that the chair is tilted significantly to one side and not in a straight position. I am unhappy with the quality of the product and would like to return it for a full refund. Unfortunately, I am unable to return it myself as I am pregnant and have no one to help me.

Dear Ikea,
I am writing to address the ongoing issues I have encountered with the IKEA store in Saudi Arabia (Dhahran) and your call center. On August 19, I placed an online order (Invoice: Attached) with a scheduled delivery for September 3. Unfortunately, the BRIMNES TV bench ([redacted]4) I received was damaged due to a factory defect.
Upon contacting your call center (9[redacted]2), I was advised to return the table to the store, which was not feasible as the company had made the delivery. Subsequent replacements on September 3, (10-18) September, and (10) October all arrived damaged.
Despite a meeting on October 29, and promises to resolve the issue, no satisfactory resolution has been achieved. Appointments scheduled for December 19, December 24, and December 30 have all resulted in failed deliveries and damaged products.
I kindly request a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service at your store in Saudi Arabia (Dhahran) and the call centre. I placed an order online on 19 August and received everything in good condition except for the BRIMNES TV bench 180x53 white ([redacted]4). The first table had a factory defect, and despite contacting the call centre (9[redacted]2), I was told to return it to the store, which was inconvenient as the table was delivered by the company.
The second and third tables also arrived damaged, with promises of replacements made for 1 October and 19 December, which were not fulfilled. Even after a meeting with an Ikea representative in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, no resolution was reached. The fourth table delivered on 30 December was also damaged, and I urge you to improve your service and fulfill your commitments to customers.

My order [redacted] was scheduled for delivery today, January 9, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the delivery driver couldn't locate my address and had to return the package to the depot. This caused a major inconvenience as I had arranged for a carpenter and flooring specialist to work on the items today, both of whom I had to cancel last minute. After contacting customer service, I was only offered a £10 voucher, which I believe does not adequately compensate for the trouble and inconvenience this situation has caused. I have previously received deliveries at this address, including billy bookcases purchased last year. I would appreciate if you could look into this matter further.

I want to share my experience with IKEA. Their stores give off the impression of offering high quality, but the reality is quite different. The products are difficult to assemble, with fragile parts and no spare pieces provided. The wood used is prone to breaking and does not last. During my visit to the Vaughan store, a light fixture caught fire, demonstrating a serious safety issue. Buying from IKEA always causes me anxiety as I worry about assembly, durability, and compatibility. The company's practice of selling components separately feels like a ploy to compel customers to use their installation services. This manipulative approach, from selling bins without lids to shelves without brackets, is frustrating. The entire IKEA experience, from their items to customer service, feels calculated and lacks integrity. I'm disappointed in the brand and will share my negative feedback to raise awareness about their misleading practices.

Hello, I am writing to file a complaint about my experience at the Leeds store today with my disabled daughter. We faced difficulties getting assistance with lifting 3 heavy boxes despite asking multiple staff members for help. Eventually, I inquired whether the items could be ordered for delivery and was informed there would be a £14 charge for such service on top of the £39 delivery fee I was expecting to pay. This upset my daughter, for whom the items were intended. Despite the store having a good selection, I was disappointed by the poor treatment we received. As someone who works in retail, I understand the importance of customer service, and this experience has left me reluctant to return. It was disheartening for my daughter to witness such treatment. I recently spent €3,[redacted] on an IKEA kitchen and am currently installing it. I noticed the Fixa Drill Plate [redacted].[redacted].93 priced at €3 but was unable to find it in the Carrickmines store where I purchased my kitchen. To order and have it delivered to Carrickmines costs €15, while online it's €10. Considering it's a small item, I am curious why it isn't readily available when purchasing a kitchen or stocked at the cash registers where I bought other accessories. Given my full-time job, visiting Ballymun is only feasible on weekends. I kindly request that you consider stocking this item at the kitchen planners' desk or near the cash registers. I recently received my order ([redacted]04) on 1/9/20. Upon checking the mailroom, where it was supposedly delivered, I couldn't find it. After contacting my apartment complex, they confirmed a delay in accessing the Luxer system. A week later, they checked the lockers and my package was nowhere to be found. I tried reaching out to Ikea twice but was kept on hold for more than 30 minutes each time. I spent over $25 on these items, which are now missing. While I understand the policy requires reporting missing items within 48 hours, I had to wait for my apartment complex's response. I need these items replaced as I've already paid for them but I'm having trouble getting in touch with your customer service.
