Compliment for Home Depot Store #[redacted] in Carson, CA
Hello,
I am RC Charles and I wanted to share my feedback about the Home Depot store located at [redacted] Sepulveda Ave., Carson, CA. During my recent visit on June 25th, I encountered some challenges with an employee's attitude. However, I would like to commend Phil, Jaime, and Leticia/Patricia for their exceptional customer service in resolving the issue.
Unfortunately, an employee named RoShaun W. exhibited unprofessional behavior which marred an otherwise pleasant experience. RoShaun W.'s demeanor was disrespectful and unwarranted, affecting the overall customer service. I appreciate the efforts of other staff members who tried to assist despite the situation.
I hope my feedback reaches the management team, the commendable employees mentioned, and RoShaun W. to address this issue and maintain the high standards of service at that location. Thank you.
Sincerely,
RC Charles

I placed an order online for an item that showed 3 in stock at store #[redacted] in Fort Worth, TX. After receiving a confirmation, I later got a text saying my order was canceled and a refund would take 3-5 days. When I went to the store and saw that the item was still in stock, the manager seemed unaware of the situation. He mentioned I had to repay, and even mentioned involving the police if I left with the item without paying. This assumption was insulting and humiliating. I expected a resolution to their order mix-up rather than facing unfounded accusations. If fulfilling online orders is challenging, they should reconsider offering the service and provide better training for the staff.

Good afternoon,
I am experiencing an issue with the store in Kingman, AZ [redacted]. We hold a commercial account with your company and have purchased all our appliances from you without any previous problems. We have acquired over $21,[redacted] worth of appliances from your store. On June 16, [redacted], appliances were delivered to [redacted] Silver Creek Rd. (order ID [redacted]64). Within an hour of installation, they were not functioning correctly. I contacted the store to inform them and spoke with Betsy, as I am aware of the 48-hour return policy. I have been struggling with them since then. I have been on hold again today (07-14-[redacted]) since 8 am, attempting to resolve this issue. This marks the sixth time I have contacted the store, Whirlpool, or customer service. If I don't remain on the line, they do not call me back despite their assurances. It is disheartening that a commercial account, let alone an elderly couple in their 80s whom we purchased the items for, is treated in this manner. All we wish for is a functional fridge and stove. Please do the right thing and allow us to exchange the items or receive a refund to purchase something else. Thank you, James.

Hello, I am Marvin J. from the Marine Corps Community Services at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. I manage purchases of materials and services for building repairs using a Government Credit Card. I am required to ask vendors, like Home Depot, to certify that they do not provide certain services tied to the Chinese Government. I have attached a certification form along with further details. Your cooperation is appreciated, as failure to certify may affect our future transactions. Please return the signed certification to me at [redacted] promptly. Thank you.

I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher in November [redacted] and recently received a service bulletin from Whirlpool stating that the heating element needed to be replaced. During the repair service, the technician discovered a leak at the top of the dishwasher that had been present since installation. The technician suggested that the dishwasher was either damaged before or during the installation process. We have photographic evidence of the damage. The leaking had caused my kitchen floor to become wet, although the source of the water was not initially visible. Home Depot both sold and installed the dishwasher, and I believe they should replace the damaged unit. Additionally, I am requesting compensation from Home Depot for the damage caused to my floor. My name is E. Guy, and I can be reached at [redacted]

I received a refund check from Home Depot and would like to understand the reason behind it. Yesterday, I spent over 2.5 hours on the phone calling various numbers and kept getting disconnected or directed to the wrong extension. I even ended up being transferred multiple times to the same person I had spoken to in my previous calls. I attempted to contact them again this morning but am still facing the same issues of being passed around. I have all the necessary information on the Home Depot check for their accounts payable team to investigate and provide details on the purpose of this check.

I am disappointed by the treatment I received at Home Depot when trying to make a return. The cashier and manager seemed to prioritize male customers over me. Despite having a valid reason for the return and making a purchase with my credit card, I was made to wait and not given the same level of service as male customers. This experience has made me feel disrespected and undervalued as a customer. I hope that Home Depot can address this issue and ensure that all customers, regardless of gender, are treated with equal respect and courtesy. This incident has left me contemplating shopping at other stores where I might receive better treatment.

Subject: Freezer Issues and Request for Refund
Hello Home Depot Representative,
I am reaching out regarding an issue with a freezer I purchased from your store. Recently, the freezer has been experiencing excessive frost buildup inside, leading an HVAC technician to discover that the frame is bent, causing both doors to not seal properly. As this was a floor model purchase, I was unaware of these defects. I am a loyal customer of Home Depot and would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
I kindly request a full refund of $[redacted].16 for the problematic freezer. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Sincerely,
Mark

During my second checkout attempt at the Picayune MS store, I encountered a manager who treated me poorly. Despite just trying to claim my rightful discount due to damaged goods, she accused me of theft. The broken bags of rocks on a pallet marked 50% off led me to search through the garbage and improvise with cellophane from another bag. As a loyal customer who spent over $[redacted] there recently, remodeling my roof, bathroom, and painting my home, I was shocked by her behavior. She embarrassed me in front of other staff and customers, making me feel unwelcome and out of place. This incident left me feeling extremely upset and unwanted.

I purchased a Cultivator in [redacted] and used it for the first time in March [redacted]. Sadly, it blew a gasket, leading to oil leaking into the engine. I opened a case with number [redacted]7 through Customer Service. After about two weeks, the original representative had to push for a resolution with YAT. Recently, the entire shaft of the cultivator broke off, prompting me to reopen the case about two weeks ago. Despite being promised a follow-up by the 13th, I have not received any communication. I have left voicemails and sent emails without any response. I attempted to escalate the issue to a supervisor, but I felt unsure if any action would be taken. I even reached out to Bob Mohle at YAT with no reply. I am seeking help to resolve this matter promptly as I urgently need to use my cultivator. I remain open to contacting YAT directly, if provided with a phone number. I will send one more email to them but unfortunately, I am not optimistic.

I bought a combo set at Home Depot comprising a drill, a saw, two batteries, and a bag as a gift for my husband for around $[redacted]. When my husband went to return it at the Vista, California store, they did not treat him well, assuming things based on his appearance. They didn't even check his ID properly, and despite me having paid in cash, they refused to give him store credit without the account number. I believe he should have received store credit, especially since we are regular customers, and I planned to spend more money that day. I want to return the unused set for store credit as a resolution. The store's refusal to process the return properly was unjust, and I am disappointed with the treatment received. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On May 23, [redacted], I visited my local Home Depot to order custom countertops. I hired a contractor for measurements and provided detailed plans to Home Depot. Despite being quoted a 14-day wait, my countertops were not delivered until August 10, [redacted], three months later. Upon installation by my contractor on August 22, significant measurement discrepancies of up to 4 inches were discovered. While the company claims to have followed instructions, email correspondence and documented evidence prove otherwise.
Having waited months and now having to prove the error, I am left with the burden of paying my contractor. I am seeking a full refund for the job and considering billing the company for the contractor's expenses as well.

I wanted to share my positive experience at Home Depot, West Cobb #[redacted] in Marietta, Georgia on October 11 around noon. I interacted with a helpful associate named "Sam" in the lumber area who assisted me with multiple cuts for my DIY pantry shelves project. The staff in the tool department were also informative and kind, taking the time to answer my questions without trying to upsell me. Lastly, a young woman at the self-checkout offered to get me a cart, showing exceptional service throughout the store. I am truly impressed and will continue to choose Home Depot for my shopping needs, especially the West Cobb location. Thank you for the outstanding customer service.

I recently purchased laminate flooring and installation services. Upon the installers' arrival, they pointed out that the floor was uneven and removed a section of my carpet despite photographic evidence of the carpet's condition. After trying unsuccessfully to fix the floor for $[redacted] and receiving a $4,[redacted] quote for concrete work, I resorted to placing OSB sheets at a cost of $[redacted] to level the floor. Despite discussing with Home Depot that I would take responsibility for the floor post-installation, I encountered difficulties as the installers refused to proceed after a month. Consequently, I had to complete the installation myself. I am requesting the removal of the flooring materials cost from my credit card.

I received the same product twice via FedEx. I did not order the item and do not know what it is or who it should have gone to.
The delivery was for Shirley Houston at [redacted] Reese Rd, Memphis, TN [redacted]. I am certain it is meant for someone else.
The product is a 1/2" x close PVC riser with barcode #[redacted]13. I did not place this order. Maybe there is another Shirley Houston. Please investigate. Thank you.

I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for many years. On May 28, [redacted], I was shopping at the Kingston, New York store when approached by both a Home Depot and Ryobi salesperson about Ryobi's promotion on tools, batteries, and chargers. To my surprise, the batteries I purchased were from [redacted], and though I was informed of a three-year return policy on batteries, I am now faced with batteries that no longer charge. Home Depot claims a 90-day return policy, while Ryobi indicates a three-year policy. Despite this, Ryobi's customer service states they will not honor the warranty due to the age of the batteries. Feeling misled as a consumer, I request at least two batteries with a [redacted] date to resolve this issue promptly. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I recently got hired at Home Depot in Lubbock, Texas, where my mom has worked for seven years. There was a conflict of interest concern raised as I was hired for the same department my mom works in. Despite being initially told they didn't need anyone for freight, I kept receiving emails. After a month of waiting, I was informed that I couldn't work at the store due to my mom being there. However, there are other positions available in different departments with different managers. I contacted HR at another store and learned I could work there. I really want to work for Home Depot as I'm familiar with how well employees are treated, but I'm unsure about what to do next. Can you provide guidance on how to proceed?

This morning, 11/6/22, I visited Home Depot on Radio Dr. in Florence, SC to have some keys made. The representative informed me that I could pay at the garden center. However, upon reaching the garden center at 9:15 am, it was closed. I was told it would open at 10 am, but when I returned at 10:15 am, it was still closed. When I inquired at the customer service desk, they insisted someone was there, but after some back and forth, they eventually agreed to check. Frustrated by the situation, I decided to leave. I'm disappointed that the store was open while the garden center wasn't, as the staff didn't inform me of this when I paid for the keys. Additionally, I observed employees blocking aisles for forklifts, which made me question if a different approach, such as a night shift, would be more efficient. It's unlikely I'll be returning to shop at Home Depot in the future.

Attention: Tou Vang, Store Manager,
I have been attempting for the past hour to leave a positive review for the Woodbury Home Depot Store. I utilized the email address provided but was unable to locate a section to leave a review specifically for employee Sam S. Your review process should be more user-friendly. Thank you.
On Friday evening, I visited the store seeking assistance with bathroom cabinet hardware. I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service from Sam S., who assisted me in locating the necessary items in Aisle 17. Sam was incredibly helpful, respectful, and guided me to the customer service department for checkout. Such a pleasant experience. Please extend my compliments to him. Additionally, the customer service at the Blaine Home Depot was excellent as well. I eagerly anticipate shopping there again soon. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Sue Petryk
