On May 11, my spouse and I bought a Groupon voucher from Comprehensive Carpet Cleaner with Order [redacted]. I reached out to schedule and was given a date for September 18, which I found too far out and past the expiration date. Despite this, they assured me it was fine due to my early booking in May. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule because of a medical appointment clash on the same day. After contacting them and being told they would arrive by 8:00 am, they were a no-show at 9:30 am. Upon calling, I was met with rudeness and a promise of a callback that never materialized. My attempts to reach them today were unsuccessful. Feeling uneasy about their reliability, I am seeking a refund. This experience stands out as I've never encountered any problems with Groupon in the past. Best regards, JoAnn

Subject: Assistance Needed: Groupon Select Membership and Katfam Photos Order Hello Groupon Customer Support, I am reaching out regarding a couple of issues I have encountered. Firstly, I was charged $4.99 for Groupon Select on September 5th, but have not received the promised $20 sitewide credit or any special discounts associated with the Select membership. Secondly, I sent 5 video tapes to Katfam Photos a few weeks ago and have yet to receive the DVDs. I attempted to contact them through their website without any response. I would appreciate it if you could escalate these matters to your supervisor as I am dissatisfied with the service provided. I hope for a prompt resolution to both problems. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Margaret Y.

I recently purchased a Groupon deal from Vision by Amel for an eye exam and glasses in Henderson, Nevada. Unfortunately, the office in Henderson had closed, which was confirmed by the company. I contacted Groupon to request a refund due to the non-existence of the service, but the customer service representative was unhelpful and refused to provide a refund, insisting on offering Groupon credit instead. I find this situation frustrating, as I believe that if a service is no longer available, a refund should be issued. The lack of phone support to discuss this matter only adds to the frustration. I have tried to explain the situation clearly via email, but it has not been resolved satisfactorily. I hope to receive a refund for the misrepresented service soon. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, G.K. Cross

I was surprised to find no phone or chat support available at 1:45pm PDT on a weekday. It would have been helpful to speak to someone about my issue. I purchased two Groupons from Esthetique by Grace M., who only communicates by text. Initially, I found it odd that she had to redeem my Groupons to check availability. She postponed the appointment from Oct 2nd to Nov 2nd without prior notice. When I requested a refund due to the long wait, she stopped responding. I am yet to receive any service and have not visited the location. I hope for a prompt full refund as there seem to be recurring issues with this business. The main concerns include communication only through text, late responses, delayed appointment disclosure, and lack of responsiveness to refund requests. Kindly address this matter promptly. - Lisa Ross

Subject: Issue with Shipping Charges Dear Customer Service, I am contacting you regarding a problem with the shipping charges for my recent order. The shipping fee was higher than initially indicated when I purchased the item. I was surprised to find out that I owed an additional $8.50 for postage. This discrepancy has left me disheartened as I do not wish to pay more than the originally stated shipping cost. Due to this inconvenience, I have decided to cancel the order. I would like to place a new order for the item with the initially quoted postage and not the additional fee. I kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter. To ensure transparency, I prefer to keep all communications related to this case via email. Thank you for your understanding. I purchased The TEMPLE: A Paul Mitchell Partner School with Order #: [redacted] on May 24, [redacted]. The treatment was not suitable for my hair type, as advised by the Paul Mitchell stylist. They directed me to contact Groupon for a refund. Groupon confirmed the refund and mentioned I could use it for any other purchase. Although the email stated the deal would expire on September 21, [redacted], when I clicked on the link provided, it directed me back to the Temple's Groupon for the hair treatment I cannot utilize. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with ordering items using my refund. I will be out of the country starting soon and unreachable via email or phone. I have authorized my sister, Rose, to handle the Groupon refund on my behalf. Kindly communicate with her at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance. Mary

Hello, I recently bought a voucher for indoor skydiving at Twinwoods Adventure for two people. The booking was for September 22nd. However, the adventure center informed me of technical problems with their power supplier, making the experience unavailable with no fix date. My voucher expires on November 13th, and I am now seeking a refund due to these circumstances. Thank you, F.

Hello, this is Karishma. I am reaching out about my recent order (Order no. #1[redacted]21-[redacted]) at Urchin Bar for the Two People Breakfast with Coffee. After receiving my confirmation email, I was surprised to find out I needed a QR code for the restaurant. At the venue, despite showing my email receipt, I couldn't locate the QR code. After a thorough search on my phone, the QR code was nowhere to be found. Regrettably, I had to pay the bill again, amounting to $46, when I had already paid $19 through Groupon. I possess all the receipts and I am hoping for a full refund due to this inconvenient and embarrassing incident. This experience leaves me hesitant about future purchases on Groupon. I am anticipating a positive resolution. Thank you.

I purchased a Groupon for a skydiving experience and booked a jump for 9am on Friday, September 20, [redacted]. I made sure to confirm my appointment with the skydiving company by calling them an hour before. Despite their assurance that everything was set, I arrived at the location only to find out they had rescheduled my jump for 3pm without notifying me. I waited for 45 minutes before someone explained the situation to me. This lack of communication and unprofessionalism has left me feeling disappointed and disrespected. I no longer feel comfortable trusting them with my first skydiving experience and would like a refund for the poor service. Thank you.

I visited Paul Mitchell for a hair coloring appointment using a Groupon I purchased. Upon arrival, a student mentioned my hair was damaged and couldn't be colored. She demonstrated the color on a strand, then restored it. After leaving the color on for 45 minutes, she left the building. I informed a teacher who rinsed the strand, which got damaged. Despite having healthy hair that needed a trim, the teacher stated my hair was unmanageable. No actual coloring was done, and I won't return. They claimed to redeem my Groupon, but they didn't. I'd like a refund for the Groupon since I won't be going back.

I have been a Groupon customer for a couple of years without any issues until now. While I was ordering compression socks, I unintentionally signed up for "Groupon Select" (G.S.) due to your sales tactics. I received a welcome message for G.S., which I can overlook. Later, I came across an ad for Barrett Insect treatment on G.S. offering a $[redacted] service for $39. When I tried to purchase it, I was surprised to find out I bought it without receiving a voucher for the service. I followed the instructions to get a voucher, but now I am unsure why I need it after making the purchase on G.S. I was under the impression that ordering on G.S. was similar to the old Groupon system, and I am confused about the voucher requirement.

Last night, I tried to buy a detail for $79, but my credit card was declined due to insufficient funds. After updating my card information and repurchasing the detail, I also became a Groupon Plus member for savings. However, I was charged twice - once for the failed transaction and again for the successful purchase. I received the voucher and made a reservation, but I do not need two cleanings. I urgently request a $79 refund to rectify this situation. It is causing me significant distress. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

I have a voucher for an IPL Photofacial that I've been trying to book, but they are booked out weeks in advance. The earliest available date they have is October 3rd, while my voucher expires on September 30th. The business suggested that I contact you to request an extension. This voucher represents a significant investment for me as a single mother, and I cannot afford the additional $[redacted] on top of the $[redacted] already paid. I never received a reminder about the approaching expiration date, unlike previous vouchers I've purchased. If this issue cannot be resolved, I would like a refund for the full purchase amount.

I have two vouchers expiring next week that I cannot use due to service issues with the vendors. 1. Chemical Guy Detailing Voucher Bar Code: [redacted]5 2. Milla Spa Voucher Bar Code: [redacted]7 The first vendor has closed without providing a forwarding number or address, making it impossible to redeem. Despite multiple months of trying to schedule, I received no response. The second vendor is also unresponsive, making it impossible to book before my departure next week. This lack of responsibility and denial of service is unacceptable. I expect to receive credit for the services paid, as the vendors have failed to fulfill their obligation. Thank you, Margarita Hueniken

I bought a Groupon for a psychic reading. When I called the number on the voucher, a lady mentioned her mother was away on a spiritual Retreat, and she would be doing the reading instead. She stated that the address on the voucher wasn't where I should go and provided a different location about four miles away, but she hasn't texted me the exact address yet. It felt suspicious that the reading wouldn't be with the person the Groupon was for and that the address was different from what was listed on the voucher. I just want to confirm the legitimacy before going to the new address she gives me.

I encountered difficulties ordering multiple gifts to one address as I had to proceed to checkout separately for each item. Subsequently, I placed another gift order for December despite it being valid until January. Upon contacting Omaha Steaks, I was redirected to Groupon for assistance. Despite receiving a notification that my order was on its way, I am concerned about the proper delivery of my items. Communication is challenging as I prefer speaking with a person directly, rather than using an app due to not having a smartphone. If my orders cannot be fulfilled according to my preferences, I wish to cancel them. I possess all the necessary Groupon numbers and reference codes. Despite being a loyal 75-year-old Groupon user, the current lack of satisfactory customer service via phone may lead me to consider closing my account to avoid financial losses. Your prompt attention to resolving these computer-related challenges is appreciated.

I purchased a Groupon a couple of months ago for highlights and a haircut at Katie's Artistic Salon. I had multiple appointments scheduled, and the stylist canceled on me twice, and then canceled again on the morning of the third appointment. I rearranged my day for that appointment and still haven't had my hair done even though it has been over a month. I would like a refund so I can use it to purchase a Groupon for a different salon. It's frustrating that even though we pay upfront for the service, getting an appointment seems to be a challenge.

I paid $[redacted] through Groupon, but upon arrival at the location, I was asked to pay another $[redacted]. Groupon provided poor customer service, acting unprofessionally and condescendingly. They failed to update the information accurately, omitting details about what was included. I was not informed of any changes beforehand. They are avoiding accountability and redirecting blame to the merchant when the issue lies with Groupon.

Hello, I want to report an issue with returning two dog bed orders. We sent the items via USPS, each in separate boxes with copied labels marked 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4, and 4 of 4. The second package had to be split due to the vacuumed packaging expanding. However, only one item from each order was credited back. I called last week, and a representative mentioned they were processing, yet it seems only one dog bed from each order was acknowledged for a refund. I am disappointed with both the poor quality of the beds and the slow shipping speed. I urge the full correct amount to be credited back to my account promptly. Additionally, we discussed a credit for a tree necklace that was poorly made. We were assured a credit for a total of nine dog beds and the tree necklace. For any further assistance, please contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you, Denise & Jim Donlon.
