I was contacted by someone and submitted my identification documents to Greendot Corporation. I was told I would hear back in 2 days, but it has been 3 weeks now with no response. It will be 2 years in November since I was stranded in Mexico due to them blocking my card while I was there with my husband. I just want them to issue me a check and mail it to the address on file. Thank you.

I am trying to activate my newly purchased and loaded Green Dot Visa. It required phone number verification via a code. However, after multiple attempts, I am now locked out and being told to try back later. This is particularly challenging for me due to health issues. Please assist me. My phone number is [redacted]. Thank you, Michael.

I lost my Go.Bank Debit Card and have requested a replacement twice without success. Unfortunately, I do not know my card or account number. After calling a third time, I am unable to speak with a live person as the system keeps disconnecting when I provide my Social Security number and date of birth. I have also requested a call back with no response. This has been going on for 3 to 4 weeks, and my bills are now extremely overdue.
I kindly ask for Management to contact me, Eva J. (Warren), at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] Thank you.
In addition, can you provide an alternative corporate phone number that I can call directly?

Title: Trouble Registering My Green Dot Load & Go Card
I have been trying to register my Green Dot Load & Go card on greendot.com/loadandgo for the past 8 days without success. If this issue is not resolved today, I might have to consider these cards as a scam. It is unfair to sell a prepaid debit card that cannot be used, especially when marketed as instant access. Green Dot cards have been a reliable option for low-income individuals like myself for many years, and not being able to access the funds loaded onto the card is causing financial strain. I hope the technical difficulties are resolved promptly so I can continue using my card for bill payments and daily expenses.

I purchased a green got visa prepaid Visa card and cannot activate it. I have tried calling customer service multiple times without success. I loaded $[redacted] on the card to pay a bill online to avoid late fees, but now I can't activate the card, causing me to incur a $75 late fee. I urgently need my money back or for the card to be activated immediately. Please resolve this as soon as possible. Thank you.

I've been attempting to register my Load and Go Green Dot card online since July 2, [redacted]. The website on the back of my card often states it does not exist. When I do manage to access the site, after providing all the required information, I receive errors such as "The information provided does not match our files" or "We're currently having technical difficulties." This has persisted for 9 days despite trying on multiple browsers and devices. I've raised the issue numerous times without receiving effective assistance, even being directed to the wrong phone number and spam email responses. This ordeal has caused me to struggle to pay my bills on time. The lack of customer service, in [redacted], is baffling. I'm seeking a refund and looking to sever ties with Green Dot due to this frustrating experience. If my last attempt to register the card fails, I will wash my hands of this company entirely.

On June 24th, unauthorized charges were made on my hacked card, prompting me to request a new one. Even though I asked for my account to remain open, I received a replacement card a few days later. However, on July 9th, I encountered an issue when my deposit didn't go through. Despite numerous attempts to reach customer service between July 9th and 11th, I only encountered automated responses. Interestingly, on July 11th, the system revealed my July 9th deposit was sent back to the sender, requiring two more business days. I am puzzled as to why my account was closed despite my request to keep it open, and why a new card was sent if closure was inevitable. I am eager to know when my deposit was declined and returned.

I purchased a Green Dot card online without a credit check or ID verification. I used the card without any issues for about a year until last October when they requested proof of identity, asking me to provide a scan of my driver's license. They notified me that I wouldn't have access to my account or card until I complied. Despite not having access for nine months, Green Dot continued to charge me maintenance and service fees. I have requested to close the account, receive the remaining balance, and be refunded for the charges since October. I have contacted customer service and sent a letter but have not received a response regarding this matter.

The customer service line is only automated, leaving no way to speak to a representative. After being directed to an app link and disconnected, attempting to resolve the issue online yield no results either. Despite three days of calling and emailing, reaching a live person seems impossible. This has hindered access to the $[redacted] loaded onto the card. The general sentiment from managers at various establishments is that Green Dot receives a disproportionately high volume of complaints compared to other cards. Customers often experience delays of 3 to 5 days to access their funds, leading to frustration. This situation paints Green Dot in a negative light, suggesting they prioritize holding onto customers' money over providing efficient service. The lack of assistance feels unfair and one-sided, highlighting the power dynamics between large corporations and individual customers.

I purchased a Greendot Walmart Visa debit card four months ago. Unfortunately, I lost access to my email because my iCloud account was lost when my phone was stolen. I have my debit card with my name printed on it, but I have called nine times to get it replaced, only to be hung up on each time by representatives in another country. They claim my information is correct, except for the three numbers in my area code being wrong, even though I've had the same phone number for five years. With over $[redacted] on the card and being disabled, this has caused me great distress. Despite visiting my local Walmart 12 times for help, the outsourcing to another country has left me feeling helpless. If this issue is not resolved, I am prepared to take legal action, and disability affairs are already involved. I urgently need access to my funds as I am in the process of moving. My name is Vanessa Penland.

I bought a Load & Go prepaid Visa card at Walgreens in Hamilton, Montana on May 23, [redacted], at 11:50 am for $[redacted] plus a $3.95 fee. However, despite the sticker on the card stating that no registration is required and it can be used immediately, the card was repeatedly denied when I tried using it. Calling the phone number on the card and package confirmed there were no funds on it. I have spoken to Walgreens, who said the funds were sent to Green Dot successfully. I am frustrated with the lack of support from both Walgreens and Green Dot, leading me to consider filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I want a resolution promptly to either get my money back or be able to use the card. I have tried various numbers to reach customer service but keep getting automated responses. I am J. Rall, and you can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Three months ago, almost reaching four months now, I bought a Green Dot reload pack. Despite having used the card and loaded it before, this time it would not work. When I called Green Dot, I was informed that my Reload card could not be validated, and I was told to expect a check in the mail within four weeks. However, after the designated time passed, I received no check. After contacting customer service and being given the same runaround, another check was promised but also failed to arrive. This issue started on March 28th, [redacted], involving a $[redacted] reload. I still hold onto my receipt and the reload pack. Despite my efforts in submitting online complaint forms and contacting customer service, I remain without a resolution after three and a half months of trying.

I am experiencing issues with Greendot regarding a stolen card ending in either [redacted] or [redacted], with a balance of $70.05. Despite contacting various departments, I have been repeatedly hung up on and denied assistance. The card is linked to my personal information, and my ex roommate has interfered with my online access, changing my cell phone number. I have been instructed to email sensitive information, including my driver's license and social security number. After a frustrating month and a half, I am considering reporting this to the Better Business Bureau or seeking legal advice. My name is Kevin Trump.

I bought a $50 Green Dot card for my 12-year-old granddaughter's birthday, not realizing it required personal information. The store misled me, stating it was like a regular gift card. Due to my granddaughter's young age and concerns about identity theft, I am reluctant to register it in my name. My granddaughter, understandably, is upset as this is her birthday present. When I contacted the store, the manager said nothing could be done once it was processed. I need assistance resolving this by either getting a refund or obtaining a non-reloadable gift card to gift my granddaughter. Your help in rectifying this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
R.L.

I am experiencing frustration as the funds on my Green Dot card are currently inaccessible. I have been trying to reach a representative for the past day to resolve this issue, but I have been unable to connect with anyone. These funds were intended for online purchases during my hospital recovery, as I am far from home. During the activation of the card, I accidentally input my password as the account name. Despite being a loyal Green Dot customer in the past, this experience has been disappointing. While the amount may seem small to you, it holds significant value for me as it was meant for a crucial purchase. I had hoped for a prompt resolution, hence why I am reaching out for the second time. My goal is to rectify the account name error and gain access to my funds so I can utilize the card as intended during my hospital stay. Thank you. - Wren H.

This is my second attempt to resolve this issue. If no action is taken, I will lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Green Dot and Walgreens. I bought a Load & Go card from Walgreens in Hamilton, Montana, for $[redacted] plus a $3.95 service fee. Despite the "ready for immediate use, no registration required" sticker on the card, it appears empty when checked online. Every attempt to speak to a live representative was unsuccessful as the system disconnected me. I expect a refund of $[redacted].95 from either Green Dot or Walgreens. I require a prompt resolution from a human representative or will proceed with the Better Business Bureau complaint. I demand my money back with 30% monthly compounded interest since May 3rd. Contact me at [redacted]. If I receive no response by 7/21/[redacted], I will escalate the matter.

I received my card a week ago and successfully registered it. Subsequently, I received my personalized card, which I also registered. I provided my account details to my employer for direct deposit. On payday, I received a text notification that my money was deposited onto my card by Greendot. However, upon checking my balance, it showed empty. I suspected there might have been an issue with my information, so I opted to pick up my physical check from work. To my surprise, the check stub indicated that the money was indeed direct deposited. I am now unsure about the whereabouts of my funds.

I recently applied for a secured credit card and was approved. They deducted $[redacted] from my bank account to open the account. However, I have been trying to update my address with them with no luck. Their customer service line prompts me for a card number I haven't received yet, making it impossible to speak to a representative. When I use my social security number, the system cannot locate my information. Email inquiries have also gone unanswered.
After finally reaching someone, I was told to wait 10 days for the card. Following the 11th day and still no card, I called again. I was informed of delays due to flooding in the card's location. Waiting three more days yielded no results. Upon calling again for a refund, I was met with further frustration. The company can only issue a refund by mailing a check, despite debiting my account initially and being unable to deliver the card. This situation feels like a scam operation, with no resolution in sight.

I purchased a green prepaid debit card two days ago at 7-11. I loaded $66.00 on it to pay for my car insurance, but the transaction was declined. When I called the number on the back of the card, the automated system said my card was blocked and requested a copy of my photo ID to unblock it. Unfortunately, my ID is expired, so I couldn't comply. After checking again, I found out they deducted $7.95 from my balance for a monthly maintenance fee, and my card is still blocked. As a result, my car insurance was canceled, and I now face a $[redacted].00 fine for not having insurance. I am extremely frustrated as I am unable to reach anyone for assistance. I urgently need my card unblocked to access my funds or a full refund if nothing changes, or else I will pursue legal action. Thank you.

I recently received a check from "Walmart Money Card" to deposit for payroll purposes. However, after sending out the payroll, the recipient informed me that the deposit was not made and it appears to be fraudulent activity from your bank account. I spoke with a representative from your company on 06/20 to provide bank information for the deposit. While I was told that the routing number was correct, they mentioned that the direct deposit number should be 16 digits (mine was 14 digits). I was assured that the money would be returned to the payroll company, but it has not happened yet. Our payroll company conducted a direct deposit trace and confirmed that the money was indeed sent to the account. Please reach out to us via the provided email address to initiate the refund process as previously discussed with the reference number.
