I have been trying for weeks to contact Green Dot Bank regarding unauthorized charges that have left my card with a negative balance. I was charged for a second new card because the first one given to me did not cancel the old card properly when activated. As a result, the unauthorized charge would not have gone through. Despite my efforts to resolve this, I have not received the new card. My account currently has a negative balance of $15, which is frustrating as I had a positive balance before this situation occurred. I hope to get my balance back to where it was, withdraw my cash, and discontinue using their cards. The difficulty in reaching them by phone has been extremely challenging.

I had a tax preparer handle my taxes for the past two years, resulting in the direct deposit of my refunds to two cards. Unfortunately, one of the cards has been lost or stolen. I have the account and routing numbers for the card, but I no longer have access to the phone number or email associated with my Green Dot accounts. I am trying to request replacement cards or transfer the funds to another account. I can provide my routing number, account number, and social security information, but without physical access to the card, I am unable to pass the login verification process on the website due to the requested email and phone verification which I cannot access.

I loaded $[redacted] on my GreenDot prepaid card ending in [redacted] at Walgreens. When I check the balance, it shows over $[redacted], but I get declined when I try to use it. I experienced a declined transaction in NY on 9/2. My balance was around $40 after loading $[redacted] on 9/1 and paying bills. Even though the NY transaction of $42.50 and a $3 ATM fee showed as declined, the amount was still deducted from my account. Yesterday, my balance was approximately $7. This morning it increased to $86, but now it's less than ten. I need urgent assistance with this issue as I have two payments due tomorrow. I bought a Green Dot prepaid Visa debit card on July 4th and loaded $55. However, I've been unsuccessful in registering or activating it despite several attempts to contact customer service via phone, chat, and email. I'm having trouble logging into my account. Whenever I call, it requests my social security number, which I suspect was inputted incorrectly during registration. I've been attempting to contact customer support for over a week without success. The system is unable to verify my card/account or access the funds loaded on my card since the time of purchase. I used TurboTax for my taxes in early April and opted to receive my refund on a prepaid card. Amid receiving multiple cards and moving, I lost track of which one I used. Despite providing all requested documents, my account remains blocked. I recently reported a fraud case under the reference number #[redacted]81C regarding my account ending in C127. After speaking with a representative about the issue, they provided me with a form to complete and return to rectify the $[redacted].00 that was taken from my account, resulting in a negative balance. My card has been closed and a new one has been issued, with reassurance that the overdraft would be corrected to zero and there would be a positive balance of $15.00 once the investigation is completed.
