I've been on hold for what feels like forever, and every time they pick up the phone, they hang up on me. I'm extremely frustrated because I lost two hundred dollars when my card went missing. They refused to send me a new card without the numbers from the lost one, which is impossible to provide. I had to report the card as stolen, and they assured me no monthly fees would apply until the issue was resolved. Now, over a year later, I have a negative two hundred dollar balance, and it's still challenging to reach anyone by phone. This company is incompetent, deceitful, and accountable for the countless people facing the same situation.

Green Dot recently closed my account, and despite multiple calls to their customer service, I have encountered unhelpful representatives who either disconnect the call without assisting me or claim my ID verification was rejected due to a line on it. I have successfully used my driver's license for other verification purposes. For the past two weeks, the chip on my card has not been working. Despite attempting to use it by inserting it and using the chip twice, it only functions when swiped. Recently, I faced difficulty trying to pay my car payment bill at Walmart using Western Union. Despite having enough funds, the transaction was declined multiple times. Now, my card is not working for any transactions at all. I made several attempts to contact customer service, but was unable to reach them even after waiting for two hours on the phone. Hello, I am Freda A. Freeman. I have been attempting to receive a refund from Green Dot for several weeks. The IRS sent my refund to Civistd Bank, and subsequently to Santa Barbara, due to my tax filing with Tax Slayer. Green Dot blocked my account in June for inactivity. Despite speaking to Santa Barbara and providing my IRS transaction account number to the supervisor, I have yet to receive my refund. I have reported this to the BBB scam department and submitted a complaint form. I am frustrated with the lack of resolution and the difficulties caused, especially as I am battling breast cancer. I want my refund promptly and hope to never have to deal with Green Dot again.

I've been attempting to contact Green Dot for the past three days. The customer service line keeps me on hold for over 2 hours with no response. There is also no one available to chat with. Although there is money in my account, my card keeps getting declined whenever I attempt to use it. This issue began after I locked and then unlocked my card. When I did manage to speak to a representative, I was simply advised to try using my card again, and if it continues to fail, to call back due to "technical difficulties."

I have contacted Walmart MoneyCard from Green Dot customer service multiple times. Initially, I was informed that my card was not activated despite me using it. I was promised it would be resolved in a few hours, but that did not happen. After calling again, I was told to wait due to technical difficulties. The following day, I was advised that my card should work soon, but the representative seemed unsure. I was then put on hold to speak to a supervisor who assured me my card would be functional, but it still isn't. Unfortunately, the customer service representatives seem uninformed about when funds will be available. This whole experience has left me frustrated with the lack of assistance from the company.

I recently received a fraud alert via text message regarding a charge on my card. Unfortunately, I mistakenly replied that I did not recognize the charge when I actually did. As a result, my card was restricted by the fraud department, and I have been unable to access my funds for the past two days. Last month, I purchased a gold reloadable Visa Green Dot card with $[redacted] loaded on it, but unfortunately lost the card before activating or registering it. On August 11, [redacted], I bought another Green Dot Visa Reloadable card with $60 at Dollar General. When I tried to activate the $60 card, I found out there was a negative balance of $89 on it. I suspect someone may have fraudulently used my information. I am disputing the $[redacted] from last month, the $60 from the recent purchase, and the $89 showing on my account. I purchased a pay-as-you-go Green Dot card at Casey's General Store in Bolivar, MO last night and have the receipt. When I attempted to activate the card, it prompted me to enter correct valid credentials. Despite spending 2 hours at Casey's earlier and an additional 30 minutes now, they mentioned they would resolve it by 5 pm. With no update, I tried contacting headquarters, but they were closed. The number on the card was unhelpful, instructing me to register, which I couldn't do. After contacting a different number, I spoke to a representative who claimed the card was invalid and abruptly ended the call. The first number I called last night was 1-[redacted], and the other one, where I was hung up on, was 1-[redacted], after which I talked to a Casey's manager. I've attempted to use the chat service, but it requires card registration, causing further difficulties.
