I recently created a new Facebook account and set up a page. Upon trying to access it again, I received a message stating my site was disabled without any explanation. Initially, they requested personal information to verify my account, to which I complied. They informed me that it would take time to review. Later on, they requested an ID such as a driver's license or passport, which seemed suspicious to me. I refrained from sending such sensitive information. I wish to regain access to my Facebook account.

My husband's Facebook profile was disabled after he reported an impersonator who used the same profile picture and cover photo. We became aware of the impersonation when his friends received friend requests. He reported the issue promptly, but his account became inaccessible shortly after. Despite sending his ID to various links and email addresses, he only receives automated responses stating they cannot help with this matter. I recently had to factory reset my Android device due to a virus and created a new user email as a result. However, Facebook is now requesting that I link a phone number to the new account, which is the same phone number I already have linked to my original account. Even though I try to sign in with my new email, Facebook keeps prompting me to verify my identity with a new phone number. This issue is especially frustrating because I use Facebook to log into games like Bingo Showdown and Heart of Vegas, where I regularly spend money. Logging in as a guest means I miss out on bonus rewards. As a loyal user of Google, Facebook, and other services, I believe companies should prioritize consumer satisfaction over stringent security measures.

I am not familiar with navigating Messenger and unintentionally deleted our conversation on July 19 and July 20, [redacted]. My account was disabled due to suspicious activity. When I log in, it asks me to change my password. After doing so, I see a message about possible unauthorized access. I click "continue" and am prompted to review people I added or followed. I skip this step and proceed to check my recent posts, which I confirm are valid. After moving past these steps, I encounter an error message when trying to access my account again, which repeats the process.

I believe there is an issue that Facebook needs to address. There is an individual engaging in fraudulent activity on their platform. This person set up a page named ZstarwarsShop some months ago, selling Star Wars merchandise. In late April, we made a purchase from this page and received an email confirmation of our payment and shipment preparation. After waiting several weeks with no product arrival, we contacted the provided email address, [redacted], and received no response, leading me to suspect it is a fake account. This situation indicates that the individual is likely a scammer. I recently discovered another suspicious page on Facebook called ZgalaxyFun with a similar setup to ZstarwarsShop and promptly reported it. It makes me question the extent of financial harm this person has caused using Facebook as a platform.

About four days ago, my Facebook friends notified me of strange private messages being sent from my account. The messages contained Spanish videos or a video titled “watch this video of yourself”. I immediately informed Facebook about the suspicious activity on my page. They requested verification of my identity, temporarily locking my account. Despite changing my password and following the steps repeatedly, I was unable to regain access to my page. As a disabled veteran with severe anxiety and PTSD, this situation is triggering panic attacks and worsening my depression. Not being able to access my PTSD support page and losing important information, links, and contacts is distressing. I am part of crucial recovery groups on Facebook and losing contact with them is distressing. I urgently need assistance in recovering my account to regain access to my support network.

I recently had to verify my identity on Facebook and used my first and middle names. However, now my last name, Grimes, is showing on my profile. I have faced harassment from someone named Paul on Messenger, and I believe he reported my profile. I have blocked and reported him. I am uncomfortable displaying my last name due to safety concerns. Many of my friends only use their first names on the platform. I feel this is a violation of my privacy rights. How can I remove my last name from my Facebook profile to prevent further harassment?

I was browsing a website about purchasing a dog when I believed I was messaging a breeder. They directed me to a link to view available dogs on a secure Facebook page. They requested my Facebook password, and foolishly, I complied. Subsequently, my account was seized, and they altered my login credentials. For a month, they claimed to be collaborating with Facebook to restore my access. They requested an ID from me to assist in this process, and I mistakenly sent a redacted copy of my driver's license. Only later, when contacted by a lady who had sent a deposit for a dog breed I am not selling, did I realize I had been hacked. I informed her not to send any more money as my account had been compromised. I am eager to regain access to my account to retrieve my photos and memories. Dealing with this situation has been incredibly exasperating.

I had multiple accounts in the past, but there is one account I cherished for years due to the friends on it. After my iPhone 6 Plus battery died, I upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus and wanted to transfer my favorite account. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the password, only the Apple ID. I'm unsure about the email linked to the account. I urgently need help to recover the password and regain access to this account. I am disappointed to report that my account was hacked on July 5th. The hacker changed my main and recovery IDs. I was made aware of this by friends globally. I reported this promptly to Facebook, but there has been no response from their team yet. The hacker has been posting abusive content from my account, causing me mental stress. I urge them to address this as I rely on Facebook to connect with friends and share personal data and photos. I am eagerly waiting for a resolution.

My Facebook account has been temporarily locked since yesterday afternoon. I am unable to access it without going through a verification process that involves changing the password, reviewing the connected email, and deleting unnecessary posts. However, every time I complete these steps, I receive an error message stating, "this feature is not available right now. An error occurred while processing the request." I'm currently experiencing difficulty logging into my Facebook account that I've had for over 10 years. It seems to be related to a hyphen in my name. I didn't set up trusted contacts, making it harder to recover my account. Due to privacy concerns and past identity theft issues, I'm hesitant to provide an unverifiable ID or photo. After I made a post at 1:15 PM CAT, I noticed people were engaging with it by liking and commenting. However, I was unable to react to their comments. Currently, I can only accept friend requests and share posts on my page. Upon investigating, I suspect that Facebook may have temporarily restricted certain features on my account for reasons that I believe are unfounded. It's possible that someone falsely reported me as spam. I have been an active user on Facebook for years, and my account activity has always been consistent. I receive numerous unwanted messages from people expressing romantic interest, which I ignore. Some individuals have become persistent, prompting me to block them. It's plausible that one of these individuals reported me as spam out of frustration, which I find unjust. I now lack the ability to block suspicious users from my page, so I kindly request to be unblocked as I have not violated any policies. Thank you for your assistance.

Help Needed Urgently! My account has been compromised! I am unable to access my Facebook account as the password for my Yahoo email has been changed. Additionally, I cannot use the phone number linked to these accounts because it's no longer in use. I am at a loss on how to regain access. I manage several vital pages through this account, and I urgently need assistance. The account in question belongs to M. I've forgotten my password and have tried requesting a reset code via email and phone with no success. This issue occurred a month ago as well. I need to update my password before getting a new phone this year. I want to avoid creating a new account. I'm currently logged in on my phone and worried about being locked out.
