Hello, I am writing on behalf of my girlfriend's account because I have been logged out of my own account and haven't received any support yet. I recently upgraded my phone, and when I attempt to log in from it, the system requests a code. Normally, I approve and trust new devices by using my Facebook on my laptop. By confirming via a notification that it's me logging in, I can access my account. However, since I reset my laptop and cleared its data, I can no longer approve new devices through it. Now, when I try to log in on my laptop, it prompts me for a code that gets sent to my phone. Sadly, I'm locked out from both my laptop and new phone. I don’t have access to any phone numbers associated with my account or any trusted devices. Kindly, reset the security on my account so that I can regain access. You can reach me through this forum or via email at [redacted] Thank you.

My account was hacked a while back, and recently, I attempted to recover it. Facebook has restored my account, and I have reset the password. However, when I tried to set up additional security measures, it prompted me to verify my identity. Since it's an old account, I have lost touch with the people it's asking me about. I no longer know them. I need assistance to secure my account and move forward.

My Facebook account has been hacked, and I have tried everything possible to recover it, but so far, I have been unsuccessful. My Facebook name is Claudia DeeCarvalho, and my original email for the account was "[redacted]" I realized that the email linked to the account was changed to "ya[redacted]@gmail," and unfortunately, I do not have access to this new email address. These unauthorized changes were made in the first week of March, and even my phone number for recovery purposes has been removed. I am concerned about personal documentation shared with family members through the account and want to regain control. I have been attempting to recover my account for a month now without success. I submitted my ID for verification, but Facebook claims it is not sufficient. Since there was no security question set up, I am feeling quite confused and frustrated. I am willing to provide any information necessary to confirm my identity and reclaim access to my account.

I was browsing through the Facebook help page hoping to find information on disabled accounts, but the section provided only covers that specific issue, which isn't what I am currently facing. One of my advertisements was disapproved, resulting in the disabling of my advertising account. However, no explanation was given for these actions. I submitted an appeal, but it seems like there is no record of it. I find this lack of communication disappointing, especially as a business professional myself. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this matter promptly so that I can continue to serve my clients and run my ads effectively.

Hello, I am seeking assistance for my 85-year-old mother, Virginia Vigil, with recovering her account. A few years ago, my daughter Elena Fernandez and I, Larry Fernandez, helped her create the account. We recently changed the password and were asked to 'Confirm your Identity' by Facebook. We uploaded a photo of her driver's license as requested, and received a response. However, when we tried to log in again, we were once more prompted to change the password and go through the 'Confirm your Identity' process again. This cycle kept repeating, whether we tried from my mother's computer or mine. My contact number is [redacted]. Virginia Vigil can be reached at [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently had my password changed by someone and am unable to access my Facebook account. I tried following the customer help instructions but was unsuccessful. I am looking to reset my password and regain access to my account. The email addresses associated with my account are [redacted] (main one, forgot password) and [redacted] (unable to access due to security issue). My phone numbers are (+84)[redacted]65, (+)[redacted]4, and [redacted], with only (+84)[redacted]65 currently available for SMS. I am still able to access Facebook on my phone, but not on other devices. I have tried using the "remember password" tool without success. If you need more information, please contact me via email. Thank you for your assistance. - Quynh Anh

My sister's account was hacked and stolen. She no longer has access to it and we can't find it. When she opened her laptop, she noticed it was still logged in but with a man's name and email. Despite trying to recover it with codes from trusted friends, she hasn't been successful. Her Facebook account is crucial as it holds her main connection to her daughter whom she gave up for adoption. All the pictures and memories are now missing. We are struggling to find a way to recover her account as we can't reach a real person for assistance. It's devastating that scammers can take away such important parts of our lives. Due to the hacker changing all the details, we can't locate her account. We are desperate to regain access. What steps can we take next?

Dear Facebook Support, I am seeking assistance in recovering my old Facebook account. Unfortunately, in [redacted], due to a series of unfortunate events that included losing my home, cars, photos, and three cell phones, I also lost access to my account. To make matters more complicated, I had to obtain a restraining order against my ex, whose phone number [redacted] was linked to my account recovery. This situation forced me to start fresh twice with new accounts. Recently, my phone was stolen again, adding to my troubles. My old account dates back almost ten years and holds sentimental value as it connects me to lost contacts. I wish to retrieve it to eliminate the need for the newer accounts. If necessary, I can provide additional proof of identity such as my birth certificate with my maiden name. The email associated with the account is [redacted], and my last known password was possibly "sasafras." Though I am uncertain of my old phone number, I believe it was [redacted]. Your help in recovering my account would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

I have deleted videos and photos from my computer, but they continue to reappear on my phone. I also want to permanently delete my account because of harassment and safety concerns. Some people are finding ways to contact me despite my efforts to stay private. I have friends urging me to keep my Facebook, but due to health reasons, I am hesitant. I can obtain a doctor's letter if needed. Turning off my phone at night hasn't helped as people have intercepted texts and altered them. I want to ensure all videos and photos are permanently erased along with my account. Setting it to private has not resolved the issue.

I got a one-time password text from Facebook that I didn't ask for. Can Facebook take off this option on my account to lower the risk of ID theft? Also, can Facebook enhance security by asking for more verification if someone tries to log in from a new browser or place before sending out a password? Phones can get hacked too.

My phone was stolen at noon. The person who found it is sending inappropriate videos to some of my friends. Now, I am unable to access my accounts, including Instagram. I have important friendships, photos, and school projects that I need access to. I am willing to assist in any way to regain access to my Facebook and Instagram accounts. Even if I recover my phone, I am still locked out of my accounts. Please take any necessary steps to resolve this issue. As a student, my Instagram is crucial for selling my art to fund my university education. Thank you. Sincerely, Kastriot Asllanaj.

This week, I received an email from Facebook notifying me that my phone number was removed from my account, which is strange as it's the correct number I've had for years. I can still access my account from my tablet, but not from my phone. I remember getting a message about changing my password around the same time this happened. I might have mistakenly changed my password on my phone and used a different email address. My email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted] I'm concerned I may have unintentionally created a new account. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

I need assistance with regaining access to my Facebook account "Cinzia Bella" as it means a lot to me. I created a new account after being hacked by someone named Candy who tricked me into thinking I had won money. I am desperate to recover my original account to prevent the hacker from targeting more of my friends and family. Despite sending my ID to Facebook and creating a backup email, I have not received any response. I am unhappy with my new account and would appreciate any help possible to resolve this situation. Can you assist me in recovering my original account? Thank you.

I know someone named Victor Kidd, who messaged me about a grant program and sent a website link. The lady in the link resembles Maxine Davie on my account. I wear an orange hat, and there is another email attached to my account, likely from those trying to access it. I have screenshots of potential hackers if needed. They claimed the grant was through Facebook and asked for my passcode, which I shared. Since then, my account has been compromised, and my contacts are being misused. Whoever is working with Facebook is involved in this hacking activity. Please assist in recovering my account.

Hello, I have been blocked from the Marketplace because some of my ads contained words like "Calibre" and "[redacted] M" which are mistakenly associated with guns by the algorithms. These words are related to watch specifications, not firearms, so it was unintentional. I believe this is a misunderstanding and not a violation of Commerce Policies. While I agree on the importance of algorithms to prevent illegal sales, they might need some adjustments to consider context. Unfortunately, I have not received any help from the Help Center or the community. I urgently need assistance to resolve this issue. Your prompt help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Joona

I require assistance from Facebook's appropriate authority to obtain copies of my husband's Messenger messages for use as evidence in my divorce proceedings. Despite my husband's promises to change, he resumed communication with his ex and other women after his probation for a sex offender charge ended. As a disabled individual without the means to hire a lawyer, I am in urgent need of these messages to support my case for spousal support and divorce. Kindly guide me on the procedure to obtain this information as I navigate through this difficult situation. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email from you regarding a login attempt to my account from an unknown device. I tried to access my account and now it is locked. I confirmed that the login from Moscow was not me and was directed to a page to change my password. However, I don't remember my current password, so I am unable to proceed with changing it. Can you assist me in recovering my old password? Thank you.

Hello, I recently joined Facebook due to channels I followed on YouTube moving to Facebook, and friends from my Marine Corps service 55 years ago inviting me. Many people from my past have added me as a friend on Facebook. I have limited computer and cell phone experience as I've been away from technology for years. I am 76 years old and also deaf, making phone assistance not an option. Is there a beginner's guide on Facebook for new users like me? Mastering Facebook will enhance my life by connecting me with old acquaintances. Kindly reply via email if possible. Thank you.

I had a Facebook account that I deactivated. Later, I created a new account using only my company name. Recently, I discovered that someone (likely my ex-girlfriend) made a fake account using my name. This imposter account has been sending friend requests to my friends and family, as well as explicit messages. My wife found out about this when one of her friends showed her a screenshot from the fake account, claiming I was trying to pursue her friend. I reassured my wife that it was not me and that someone was trying to sabotage our relationship. I reported this to Facebook, but they responded saying the account is not pretending to be mine, even though it is clear to both my wife and me that it is.

For the past 2-3 years, and maybe even longer, I have been noticing random $1.99 charges from Facebook on my checking account totaling over $[redacted] just last year. These charges seem to be for a game, but I make game payments through iTunes. One of the receipts on PayPal shows the following details: Paid with: Golden 1 Credit Union x-[redacted] Your backup is VISA x-[redacted] Manage Facebook payments Category: Entertainment Transaction ID: 5H473011NR[redacted] Seller info: Facebook Invoice ID: P[redacted][redacted] Purchase details: Facebook Payments $1.99 Total: $1.99 Additionally, I discovered that Facebook signed me up for an ads account without my consent. I have disabled my account information on Facebook, but they closed my complaint after accusing my relatives of using my account. I'm frustrated with the number of these charges on PayPal and demand a refund. Clicking on the link in the PayPal receipt leads me to a Facebook page for reporting issues, which has been unhelpful. I want my money back and I'm willing to provide all my bank details if needed. PayPal only refunded charges from the past [redacted] days, and I am greatly disappointed and frustrated by this.
