I have recently stopped receiving notifications from my close friends on Facebook. Instead of all at once, it started gradually with specific friends until I stopped getting any notifications at all. Upon investigating, I found the issue lies in the settings. Even after checking the box for close friends notifications, a red banner appears stating that my settings cannot be saved. I have tried various solutions without success. I am a long-time Facebook user and have even thought about deleting my account due to this problem. This seems to be affecting not just me but also my wife's iPhone 8. I use an iPhone X with the latest Facebook app version. Can someone please advise me on how to resolve this issue?

My account linked to the phone number [redacted] and email [redacted] was hacked on Friday, May 25, [redacted]. While using Facebook Messenger, I was suddenly logged out due to an unknown device access. Despite my attempts to reset the password, I'm unable to regain access to the account created over a decade ago during high school. Currently, my account, under the name Debra Younger, has been altered to Arabic script. The account holds precious photos and videos spanning the last 10 years, which I fear losing. Hello, my name is Kevin Thomas Gobeil, and I reside in Biddeford, Maine. I have a frustrating tendency to break or misplace my phone, resulting in a cycle of acquiring new phone numbers. I struggle to retrieve my old email accounts linked to the lost devices, often resorting to creating new ones. Maintaining access to my Facebook account poses a challenge as well, as leaving it open leads to forgotten passwords. Despite following account recovery procedures and receiving codes, they consistently fail to work or I exceed the attempts limit. The complexity of your system has left me with around five accounts, whereas all I desire is one, namely the account used between 6/17 and 3/18. Regrettably, the assistance provided by your support services has been unproductive, leading me in circles and even inadvertently opening an additional account. It feels like a nightmare dealing with your help resources from a company of your stature. I hope for a resolution without requiring excessive efforts or education.

The group 'Edinburgh Exposure' on Facebook is endangering lives. The previous group was taken down days ago, and a new one has surfaced as provided in the link. The police have been notified as the group incited riots outside an innocent person's home, resulting in a 7-month pregnant individual being hospitalized. False accusations of people being involved in unlawful activities are rampant, with only some posts being true. This situation is risky and threatening lives. The individuals behind these groups are Kitrina S. and Robert S. Kindly remove the group once more and prevent them from creating another. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this issue is severe. Hello, I am reaching out to report that both my business and personal Facebook accounts were compromised. My Missy Montclair account was hacked on Friday around 4:30 am. The hacker changed the phone number, email, and even accessed my Gmail account. They are impersonating me on Messenger, attempting to scam money from people. This has caused significant harm, and I am concerned about what they are saying to others using my identity. I have evidence of their actions and need the messages from Ramone Dymes on that account. This situation is serious, and if not resolved, I will take legal action. I need the Messenger account deleted to prevent further misuse, but first, I require access to my messages. My other account, Kari Phinney, remains unaffected. Both accounts have photos verifying my identity. I did not authorize anyone to access my account. Unfortunately, on my birthday, May 25, my Facebook account was hijacked by a scammer impersonating a person named Melanie who claimed I had won a grant for disability. As a disabled individual, this is very concerning. Despite my efforts to report the issue, I have not been able to regain access to my account where the email and password were changed. My original email associated with the account was [redacted] with the password Boogie66. Interestingly, after the hack, messages from "Melanie" started going into my spam folder, hindering my attempts to retrieve them. As suggested by Facebook support, I am reaching out for assistance. Luckily, I do have a secondary account under Jeremy Ryan from Abbeville, Louisiana. The affected account, Jeremy DeAngelo, can be identified by the profile picture of a flaming heart. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I have been receiving suspicious emails from someone claiming to be Mark Zuckerberg, adding to my frustration. I like using iPhoto on my iMac to upload photos from my trips to Facebook and share them with others. Lately, I've been experiencing an authorization issue. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does, it's quite frustrating. I enter my login details and sometimes reset my password as requested, but then I receive an error message saying: "An internal error has occurred. Please try again later." My information was compromised by a company claiming to offer grants for those in need. A man named AC White, aged 65-70, was featured on Facebook giving a check to an elderly lady. When I tried to find the profile to report it, I only found profiles of different individuals. Lynn Zimmerman also pretended to be my friend, offering me a grant due to my family situation. They now have my personal information and are posing as me to ask for money related to the Isha Foundation from people like Mr. Ray Pool and John Benette. They're pressuring me to stay silent or face consequences, taking advantage of innocent individuals. They are using my name to mention grants. I've changed my password and have a phone number, [redacted], which is linked to charities. This should be kept confidential. Not all members of the organization may be involved, but those responsible should be addressed. Be cautious of any charity-related activity on Facebook.

My account was locked after an attempted hacking from Lebanon. Facebook needs to send a reset code, but the email on file is old and I don't remember the password. I tried to recover the old email with no success. I'm unsure if I added friends for account recovery. Hello, I am experiencing a concerning issue with what seems to be a hacked account or someone using my email address.
I own the email address [redacted] and have been inundated with notifications regarding "Maureen's" Facebook activities recently. I am not this individual and find the situation bothersome.
I am not an active Facebook user, and any previous account I had must have been deactivated. If someone has accessed my old account associated with my email address, it was originally registered to Victoria Potylitsyna from Russia.
If this is a misunderstanding by a new user who mistakenly used my email, although unlikely given I use a Russian domain, please rectify it. I am unable to verify any security checks since I haven't interacted with anyone on Facebook for years.

I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S6 to an S9 and switched from Verizon to TMobile with my wife. While my wife was able to reset her password using a code she received via text, I did not get the reset text. I can still access Facebook on my old phone, but since we changed carriers, I can't view texts. I tried to add my email to the account but couldn't since it required a password. I added contacts on the old phone, but that option wasn't available on the new one. The support pages weren't helpful. Can you please send a password reset code to my email? I am having issues getting back into my Facebook account. I deactivated it temporarily due to personal reasons, but when I tried to reactivate it, I forgot my password. Despite trying to recover my account using my phone number, I did not receive the verification code. I mistakenly entered the wrong email address which prevented me from recovering my account. I even submitted a picture of my ID to try to change my email, but it was unsuccessful. I am feeling very stressed because I have precious memories of my kids on that Facebook account from when they were newborns.

I have been trying to reach out to Facebook for a month with no success. I encountered an issue with an item I posted twice. When I tried to correct it, Facebook thought my account was hacked and disabled it. I was supposed to just click a button to confirm it was not hacked, but despite numerous requests over the past month, no one has addressed it. Given Facebook's recent issues in the media, one would expect better customer service. I find it frustrating that despite reporting a problem, I was thanked for feedback instead.

I have been dealing with a year-long harassment issue from an unknown individual who continues to create fake profiles across various platforms to harass me, my lawyer, friends, and now my children. The person behind these profiles aims to fabricate a relationship between me and someone I do not know and even goes as far as attempting to implicate me in a murder. This relentless harassment, which began in July last year, involves numerous fake profiles like Janane Marins, Manatsanun Noiaium, Janaine Martins, and Lee Manatsanun Munro. These profiles contain personal information, weaponized images of me and my daughter, and false allegations. Despite previous takedowns, this harassment persists, causing distress to my children. I urge the platform to take necessary actions to remove this harmful profile and prevent further instances of harassment.

As a country singer, I have always shared my new music regularly in country music groups.
