Dear Support Team, This week, I experienced a security breach on my account. After resetting my password, I was unexpectedly logged out. Despite attempting to log back in, the system indicated that both the new and old passwords were incorrect. When I tried to recover my password, I was informed that an email with a code would be sent. It has been more than two days, and I have not yet received the code. This situation has left me feeling frustrated and upset as my account contains important photos and messages. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Sincerely, Jessica B. (account holder)

I am curious why there is no customer support available for assistance with Facebook issues. I am considering seeking help from Frank Finney on CBS, KPIX's Channel 5 to resolve this matter as there seems to be no established means of contact for customer service. Reflecting on the company's mission statement, is prioritizing greed truly in line with ethical business practices? I may pursue further action through the Better Business Bureau if necessary.

A post with a photo and name falsely accusing my husband has been shared on Brixham Commercial Fishing about Martyn Longman by Mike Young. We reported this to the police, and we have a crime reference number. We need assistance in removing the post as we are unable to access the page. Mike Young has also been sending threatening messages to Martyn. This post is being widely shared by other fishermen, and we are unsure if it can be stopped. Thank you for any help in getting this post taken down.

Dear Facebook Support Team, I am reaching out to address the issue I've been experiencing since September [redacted] - the inability to access my account. Despite multiple attempts, Facebook does not recognize my email, phone numbers, or backup information. The support provided by Facebook has not been helpful in resolving this matter, leaving me unable to log in. This situation is significantly impacting my work as an actor, musician, and yoga teacher, as Facebook serves as a crucial tool for me. There have been instances where my relatives had to post a message on my behalf due to the persistent login problem, disrupting my communication with clients and followers who try to connect with me for events and updates. Please assist in resolving this issue promptly as it greatly hampers my professional activities. I eagerly await your response. Best regards.

My gaming account was hacked, and PayPal was misused. Facebook has blocked my Pinot Noir account linked to the email address [redacted] The hacker is still using my account to play Zinga Poker, and I keep getting emails in my Outlook account. By tracking the IP address, we may identify the culprit involved in the hacking activities. I have secured my email by changing the password and removing PayPal from my original Facebook account. Facebook is requesting a photo ID for verification, which I am unwilling to provide due to the recent hacking incident. I urge Facebook to remove the Pinot Noir account associated with [redacted] and share the IP address with the necessary investigators for further action. Despite Zinga's involvement, the issue remains unresolved.

We are encountering difficulties unlinking our Instagram account from a Facebook page that has been merged with a new one. Despite merging the old page "peru trade-office" with the new page "peru.tradeoffice," we are still experiencing issues with unlinking. In the Facebook app, both pages appear selectable, even though they have been consolidated. When attempting to unlink the Instagram account from Facebook within the Instagram app, we are prompted with a message asking for permission to proceed, leading us to the nonexistent old Facebook account rather than the active one. Consequently, we are unable to share to Facebook from Instagram due to the inability to disconnect from the outdated Facebook page. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

My account got suspended for more than 20 hours because of a photo marked as "inappropriate" by Facebook. The photo is similar to others I've posted in the past without any issues. It's an artistic and playful image without explicit nudity. I understand if they don't want to allow the photo, but I urgently need my access restored. The situation feels strict and possibly biased against the LGBTQ+ community. I've noticed violent photos on Facebook that don't get removed or lead to suspensions like mine. I organize a free monthly queer film series in San Francisco and need to create an invite for this weekend's screening and communicate with attendees on Facebook. Please, can you reinstate my access promptly? -Best, I. Swirnoff-

I have received a request to edit my name on Facebook. I understand the importance of using the name I'm known by in everyday life. I will review my name within the next 7 days to comply with Facebook's policy. It seems they are questioning if "Dr. Larry S. Harper-Short" is the name I go by regularly. I will make the necessary changes to my profile to meet the guidelines. Thank you for reminding me that Facebook profiles should reflect individual people for personal, non-commercial purposes. I will check my Support Inbox for any further updates regarding this matter.

I suspect my account has been compromised. I cannot log in as my password is not working, and I have not received the security codes sent to my email address at [redacted] I have had a concerning experience where someone impersonated Martine Ford and claimed I won a prize through a Facebook seasonal promotion. To receive the alleged prize, I was asked for personal information like my full name, address, date of birth, and mother's name, which now worries me. Furthermore, I was told I won $80,[redacted] in a Facebook lottery but was then asked to purchase Steam wallet cards for a delivery fee, which was never delivered. The person leading this eventually cut off contact after raising further suspicions with their stories about a car accident involving their team. In light of these events, I have observed duplicate accounts of Martine Ford in my contacts, leading me to question the authenticity of the messages I received. I believe this is a serious matter and should be reported to the authorities. Kindly restore my account as soon as possible for my security. My name is Carol Robinson, and I can be reached at [redacted].

I know someone who has been facing persistent harassment from an individual on Facebook for months. Despite reporting or blocking this person, they keep creating new accounts to continue the harassment. My friend, an accomplished student on a full scholarship at Stanford, is being targeted by the alcoholic mother of her ex-boyfriend. The harasser makes derogatory comments, including false accusations, on public posts, even on articles my friend writes. She has tried involving the police, but they suggested a restraining order, which may not be effective against fake online accounts. What can be done in such a situation where someone keeps creating fake profiles to harass others?

Hello, I believe my Facebook account was hacked approximately 6 to 7 years ago. Despite my attempts to recover it back then, I was unsuccessful. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, no actions were taken by Facebook. Consequently, I created a new account and moved on from the issue. However, I recently noticed that the hacked account has become active again. The hacker has been accepting friend requests from individuals who added me years ago. Unfortunately, due to the passage of time, I no longer remember the email address associated with the hacked account. Could you please assist me by permanently deleting the compromised account? Thank you, Nabila

I'm a member of Facebook. Bill Hav, also a member, maintains a website at www.billhav.com. Unfortunately, he has a photo of my son with a disturbing history on his page, causing significant distress. The image includes a screenshot of a private text I sent him that displays my phone number. Despite our repeated requests, he refuses to remove it. This situation has deeply affected my granddaughter. The photo in question shows my son in a prison uniform. I never authorized him to post that picture or my phone number. The fact that his posts are public means the whole world can view them. It's crucial for the well-being of my family that he takes down the photo of my son and the screenshot of my text with my phone number.

Hello, I am Ane Rossouw. I need to report an account that continues to post pictures of my child without my permission. I request the removal of this account and for actions to be taken against the individual responsible. It is important for the person to understand that she is sharing personal photos of my child without my consent. This situation is inappropriate, and I am concerned about how she is obtaining these photos. While I have blocked her, others have informed me that they still see my child's photos on her page. Despite reporting this issue, the photos have not been removed. I urge for immediate action to be taken, as merely blocking this individual has not been effective. I find this behavior unacceptable and will escalate the matter if necessary. The individual in question is Sheryl Blockly, an elderly woman.

I am participating in a breast cancer walk for the American Cancer Society and raising funds through a Facebook fundraiser. I have collected almost $[redacted], and the fundraiser states that the money should be deposited into my bank account within six days. I am concerned because I have heard rumors that this might be a scam. I need the funds in my account by October 11, [redacted], ahead of the walk on October 13. My family and friends have generously donated, and I want to ensure the legitimacy of this fundraiser. If it is indeed a scam, I will take the necessary steps. I have fought hard against breast cancer, and I do not need additional stress. I am hopeful that this fundraiser is legitimate, and I can receive the funds as promised without any issues.

I recently attempted to access an account I set up five years ago for my 50th high school reunion. Due to inactivity, a security check was triggered. Unfortunately, the two options provided were not feasible for me. Contacting friends was not viable given the large number of friends and the unidentifiable photos presented made it challenging to proceed with that verification method. Additionally, identifying friends from high school photos when they may look quite different now after 55 years was also impractical, especially when considering gender differences. I am encountering this issue with my Facebook account, specifically the one associated with "[redacted]", while my primary account "[redacted]" is working fine.

I am currently locked out of my previous account. I am unable to receive the security code as I no longer have access to the phone number associated with that account. I had to change my number due to unwanted contact from Facebook and have submitted my ID twice. The name on my profile is "Natascha Catherine Karschner," but my actual name is "Natasha Catherine Karschner" without the extra "c." Access to my old account is crucial as it contains cherished photos of my eldest daughter that I don't have elsewhere. I also need to link the email from that account to my new Facebook. I have attempted to reach out multiple times but have not received any replies. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing a Facebook page I created five years ago for my high school reunion. The page is [redacted], an email account created specifically for this purpose. I haven't logged in since setting up the page for my class photos. Suddenly, a security verification request popped up, prompting me to choose 3 out of 4 friends or identify friends from their pictures. Due to having many Facebook friends, some of whom I'm not familiar with and the years that have passed making it hard to recognize old acquaintances, I couldn't complete the verification. I've researched solutions online, visited Facebook's help center, called [redacted], and now I'm seeking assistance here at GetHuman. I'm considering giving up on retrieving the account.

Good morning. I attempted to delete my Facebook account on Friday, September 28th due to concerns about hacking after hearing the news. I couldn't access my account with my usual password, as it seemed someone was changing it before me. Despite trying to delete it, I never received confirmation. I did get an email thanking me for logging back in late on September 28th, which I did not do. That same night, my bank suffered fraudulent charges starting from September 28th. There were 9 unauthorized transactions using my debit card. I had shared my debit card details via Facebook Messenger with my daughter. I would appreciate it if you could retrieve the messages to confirm. I have emails from Facebook and bank statements starting September 28th to prove the timeline. Resolving the bank issue took me 6 stressful hours over 2 days, causing me to miss work and struggle with bills. I miss Facebook but need assurance it's secure before returning. Best, Pamela M.
