While scrolling through my Facebook feed, I noticed a disturbing experience with a fake account using my picture. The image, which was only saved on my phone and never posted online, was used for the profile. I took immediate action by reporting the fake account. Despite contacting Apple Support to secure my iCloud account, changing my passwords, and finding no signs of compromise, I am puzzled about how the bot-created account obtained my photo. Any insights or advice on this matter would be greatly valued. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

Hello, I have been using Facebook for approximately eight years. Recently, I received a message stating that my profile is no longer valid and requested my email and password. The issue is, I had created a profile for my mother using my email address. Upon attempting a password reset, I inadvertently gained access to my mother's account, losing access to mine. As an English teacher who uses Facebook to connect with colleagues and students, I urgently require access to my account, where I am listed as Erzsébet Borsos, and my profile picture shows me with my daughter. I rely on this account for important contacts and data. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Is it possible for Facebook to reset the associated email address for him to regain access? His correct email is [redacted] I am providing my email [redacted] as a contact point on his behalf.

I have been trying to recover my hacked Facebook page by contacting Facebook, but I have not received any response. I no longer have access to my Yahoo email account, so I am unable to retrieve the codes they are sending me. I have created two new pages with the emails [redacted] and phone number [redacted] under the names Bobbie Ann Porter. I am hoping to get in touch with Facebook to recover my original page where I have been directed to my recovery friends, which isn't working as my account is still logged in elsewhere. I would appreciate any assistance in recovering my account. Thank you.

My Facebook and Instagram accounts were disabled. I don't engage in politics on either platform, usually just sharing birthday wishes and liking posts. On Instagram, I mostly accept follower requests and use direct messaging. I've contacted Facebook's help center, but received only a generic response about violating guidelines. I've not received any explanation regarding the violation. Instagram disabled my account too without providing details. I haven't heard anything from Instagram support. A screenshot from a friend showed messages labeled as abusive or spam that I don't recall sending. I manage a Facebook group and only message members if they break rules. I want my accounts, active since [redacted] and Instagram's launch, restored to their status from four days ago, which was September 24, [redacted].

This morning, I found myself logged out of my Facebook account without any explanation. It seems like my whole family faced the same issue on their phones. I can't recall my Facebook password as it's been a long time since I needed it, relying on staying logged in on my phone. Perhaps there was an issue on your end that caused this. Now I can't access my account. The email linked to my Facebook on my old Android phone is inaccessible, and Apple suggested I create a new email address. While I can use my phone number, the system is still asking for my email. Could you please send a verification code to my phone number so I can reset my password and regain access to my account? Why is email the only option? I no longer have access to [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted]. I can provide identification if needed. Your assistance in helping me recover my account is greatly appreciated.

About a year ago, I logged into Facebook once but haven't used it since due to being busy with work. Today, when I tried to sign in, I received a notification that my account was disabled for alleged violations of Facebook’s terms. My name is Deborah Mays, but I am known as Debbie Mays. Could that be the issue? I may have used the wrong password because, at 64, I struggle to remember all my passwords considering I rarely used Facebook. As I am nearing retirement, my younger colleagues want me to join Facebook. However, I refuse to share my driver's license for verification as I prefer not to disclose personal information online. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sirs, I am reaching out in regards to my Facebook account - Ch Ummar Noon. I have been using this account regularly for over four years. Recently, I attempted to log in but mistakenly entered the wrong password twice due to forgetting it. When I clicked on "forgot password," it informed me that an email had been sent to me to reset the password. Unfortunately, I have not used the email address linked to my Facebook account in years and cannot remember the email or password associated with it. I am unsure of what steps to take next and would greatly appreciate your help in recovering access to my Facebook account. I eagerly await your response. Kind regards, Ch Ummar Noon

Yesterday, I had to factory reset my phone. Now I'm unable to log back into my Facebook account. Unfortunately, the original phone number and email address linked to the account are no longer accessible to me. The current email address on the account is connected to a deactivated account, creating a frustrating situation. It has been two days, and I've tried providing photo ID and images of me holding signs with the required number, but I haven't received any assistance. I'm really anxious about this and would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me.

Hello, I'm Genna Barforough. I was logged out of my original Facebook account because of an unrecognized device and now it's asking for a confirmation code that I never received. My old account doesn't have my current phone number, and after not getting access for months despite sending my ID several times, I had to create a new account as Genna Sara. Unfortunately, Facebook took down my new account for fraud. I'm stuck without access to either account, and I really require Facebook to contact me to help resolve this issue as I need it for school and work events. Thanks, Genna Barforough.

Upon opening my Messenger account on my phone today, it immediately started logging out. Subsequently, I encountered the same issue on Facebook, leaving me unable to log back in. When attempting to reset the password for my Facebook email associated with [redacted], I realized I couldn't access the email account to receive the code. I kindly request that the code is sent to either my phone number [redacted] or my alternate email, [redacted] Without access to [redacted], which is linked to my Facebook account that someone unauthorized logged me out of, I am unable to recover it. This situation is troubling as my business page, Happathy Salon and Spa, is associated with this account. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I am unable to access my account since it was hacked last night. When attempting to reset the password using the "forgot password" option, I entered my new email address [redacted] as I no longer have access to the old ditzy_dezi1313@yahoo account. I arranged for 3 trusted contacts to provide me with a code to recover the account. Despite several attempts to request a password reset email, I have not received any. The error message states, "sorry this feature isn't available right now. An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later." In addition, a friend informed me that someone is using my account and falsely engaging with others, causing distress. It has been challenging to seek assistance with these issues and errors persist even after the hack. I urgently seek help to regain access to my account.

I'm unable to access my Facebook account due to their browser recognition issue. Despite multiple attempts on the app, phone browser, and laptop, I am unable to sign in. Facebook requires an authentication code to be sent to my phone, which I never received. As a next step, Facebook suggests submitting a photo with a handwritten note or an ID picture. I have already submitted a selfie with a handwritten note twice, but I have not received any response or regained access to my account. I am requesting either access to my account or for it to be deleted. I can provide all the correct login details, and I have access to both my phone and the email linked to the account.

I was recently logged out of my Facebook account by Facebook security. Upon trying to log back in, I was unable to do so. I later found out that Facebook had detected a breach. I've attempted to locate my account using the email [redacted], which I used to set it up. The account is under the name of Thomas Phillips, which is my legal middle name but what I use on Facebook. This email is a secondary one for me, with my primary email being [redacted] Both emails were registered under my legal first and last names: Keith Phillips. When searching for my account using either email, Facebook doesn't recognize them. When looking for the account under the name Thomas Phillips, it says "Still searching..." A friend managed to access my Facebook page today. How can I find and successfully log back into my account and recover it?

I am having trouble logging into Facebook on my Android phone. When I tried to reset my password, the code sent to my email was incorrect, even after multiple attempts. I have also not received any response to my email inquiries. When I attempted to log in on my laptop at home, it mentioned that I reset my password two years ago on a different device. Despite having my password saved, it still won't let me access my account. Each time I request a password reset, I receive the same incorrect code. I would appreciate receiving a working code to gain access to my account.

Upon opening my Facebook mobile app, I received a message indicating that my session had expired, causing the app to close unexpectedly. When I tried to log back in, I was informed that my information was incorrect. Doubting that was the case, I opted to reset my password, thinking it might help. However, when I tried to retrieve my account details, I was informed that my password was from a previous login and that my account could not be located. Despite searching by name, email, and phone number, I could not find any record of my account. It seems like my account may have been compromised or somehow reset, and I urgently need assistance from the Facebook help center to recover and restore access to my account, as I don't want to lose all the data associated with my Facebook profile.

After updating my iPhone last night, I was logged out of my Facebook and Messenger apps. Unfortunately, I can't recall the password because I had to change it after getting hacked a few months ago. The phone numbers associated with my account are outdated, and I no longer have access to the email address linked to the account. My Facebook holds precious memories of my children as I've lost many photos due to changing phones over the years. Retrieving access to this account is crucial to me.

I was using Facebook 22 hours ago when suddenly a blue and white screen appeared, asking me to upload a photo to verify my identity due to unusual account activity. I uploaded a photo, but Facebook said it was not clear enough. After uploading a clearer photo, they mentioned they would review it and inform me later. There was no information on the next steps or the time frame for the account to be reactivated. Today, I followed the help suggestions by trying "forgot account," resetting my password, and accidentally disabling my account. However, when I tried to send my ID through email, it said my account was not disabled. The community recommended clearing history, cache, and cookies, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.

I recently changed my password and now I'm having trouble logging into my Facebook accounts. When I try to log in, it asks for a cell number for identification, but my WiFi-only device doesn't have a regular cell number. I use a texting app called TextFree, which works fine for texting and calls, but Facebook Security doesn't recognize it as a valid number. I only have access to my accounts via email, but when I try to reset the password, it says the number is invalid. My old Facebook account, [redacted], is precious to me as it has pictures and family connections dating back to [redacted]. I had to create a new account, [redacted], due to a compromised Outlook account. Both accounts appear inaccessible due to the verification process not accepting my texting app number. I urgently need access to my accounts to reconnect with my family and access important data.
