The security process is a loop; to verify email hacking, I need the current password, but to verify a hacker changed the password, a code is sent to the hacker's email. There should be a "I have been hacked" button freezing the account, then sending an identity verification email to all linked emails. I can easily prove my identity, unlike the hacker. The fact that the hacker can replace my 15-year-old email is absurd. I want Facebook/Meta to freeze the account, verify my identity, restore my email, and allow me to reset the password.
