The hacker contacted me through messenger, which I wouldn't have usually responded to, but due to a recent family emergency, I engaged. They requested money, and after asking for verification through a video call, I sent the money. They claimed they couldn't access their FB to retrieve the money and asked me to share a code FB sent to me. I unfortunately shared the code. I have now canceled the debit cards linked to Meta Pay to prevent any further issues.
