I have the conversation saved, which follows a scam method described on the BBB website related to Zelle scammers. The person who initiated the conversation had the account name Yadiana Castro, and their profile picture features two women. Initially, the profile seemed established, lowering my suspicion. However, the email I received from "Zelle" (with an AOL email address) was clearly fake, requesting an additional $[redacted] to upgrade my Zelle account from personal to business. I recognized it as a scam and called them out on it. I believe this violates community standards and should be investigated further.
