I have been awarded the contract to operate the Brookfield Markets in Brisbane, Australia. The previous operators, who were asked to step down by the Brookfield Show Society, were given control of the Facebook and Instagram pages by the society. However, they have not handed over the accounts since ending their contract in December and have not been active on the pages since then. I have created a new page, The New Brookfield Markets, which is doing well. Unfortunately, some patrons are still visiting the old page. We are seeking to either merge the pages or have the old page shut down to avoid confusion for our customers.

I have both a business and personal account. A few weeks ago, my business account was hacked, and the hacker was contacting my clients. After reporting the issue, things seemed to be resolved. I do not currently have two-factor authentication enabled. Although I have managed to reset my password, each login attempt prompts me for a 6-digit code, but I don't have a code generator. Despite sending my ID twice, I'm still asked for this generator. The error message claims my laptop or phone is not recognized, even though they have not changed. I have kept the same email for 30 years and phone number for over 10 years. I'm seeking assistance to access my accounts, either by removing two-factor authentication or figuring out how to integrate a code generator, possibly enabling it on my Facebook account.

Facebook Plagued by Spam Notifications I have been receiving multiple notifications stating that my comments violate Facebook's Community Standards on spam. These notifications have been ongoing and appear to be in error. I am concerned because continued violations could lead to further restrictions on my account. The messages suggest that only I can see these comments, but the repeated notifications are causing distress. I seek guidance on how to address this situation and rectify any misunderstanding. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

Upon arriving to inspect a table and chair set at the seller's home, I was rushed by two men to load a table and four chairs into my vehicle before they needed to leave. Unfortunately, once I got home, I realized the table was in poor condition with unremovable stains and marks. Despite my attempts to clean it, the tabletop remained a mess. The seller, Andy Cochrane, defended his actions online. I am deeply disappointed in being misled into purchasing a flawed table. Mr. Cochrane even went as far as reporting me to Facebook after our disagreement. At 77 years old and with years of online buying experience, I have never encountered such deceitful behavior. The urgency imposed by the men prevented me from inspecting the table thoroughly. I believe I was unfairly taken advantage of in this situation.

Hello, I wanted to share a recent experience regarding my Facebook account. A friend messaged me asking for a screenshot of a code that would be sent to my phone. Rushing and trusting it was safe, I complied. Shortly after, I found myself logged out of my account, unable to log back in as my password had been changed. My friend, upon contact, informed me they were also hacked. Unfortunately, I have not used my email for a long time and cannot remember the password or security information to recover it and subsequently reset my Facebook password. To complicate matters, friends have informed me that someone is attempting to gather their information through my compromised account. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this issue. Thank you, M.P. M.

My Facebook account has been locked, and the "get started" option is available, but I am unable to access my account. I've already explored Facebook's help center and attempted to resolve the issue myself. Could you please assist in unlocking my Facebook account? Thank you.

I operate a Gaming Video Creator Page on Facebook where I manage and stream content. Lately, I've been encountering copyright claims for music that is certified as copyright-free by YouTube. It's frustrating because I either have to halt the stream or proceed without viewers until the claim is released shortly after I end the stream. The claimant, UMG (Universal Music Group), has no association with the music in question or the background music from the games I feature. Despite reaching out to UMG and attempting to gain Facebook's attention to resolve their third-party software issues, the problem persists, affecting my viewership and statistics. This has driven some creators to abandon Facebook for Twitch. Additionally, my earnings were stuck at a certain amount since December 24th, with my monthly payout seemingly disregarded. When seeking clarification from Facebook Help Centre, I was notified of a payout suspension due to suspected fraud activities. While they acknowledged an error consolidating my December and January payouts, I await confirmation on receiving the owed amount in March.

In December [redacted], my Facebook account was disabled for displaying the wrong age, which was a mistake. I promptly submitted the required documents for verification. Despite receiving generic responses citing staff shortages, my account remains inaccessible. In the meantime, I accidentally created a new Facebook account. The issue now is that I can only access the new account on my new iPhone, not on my desktop, laptop, or old iPhone. This situation is confusing, and I receive notifications about activity on my old account that I cannot access. I would like help to either regain access to my original account or possibly delete it, even though I cannot currently access any information on it.

Hola, buenas tardes. Gracias.

My personal account has been hacked, and the hacker changed the email associated with it. Fortunately, my phone number is still linked to my Facebook, so I submitted a valid ID to verify my ownership of the account. Facebook sent me a 6-digit code to reset my password, but when I try to use it, I receive an error message saying, "The number you entered doesn’t match your code. Please try again" or "You've entered the code so many times." It seems like each time I request a code, one goes to the hacker's email address and one to mine. I attempted to log in through my Gmail account, but it keeps looping back to the code mismatch page. I'm unsure if I'm inputting the 2FA codes incorrectly or if there's a bot interfering with the process. Is there a way to receive an SMS code to my phone number without logging in?

Dear Support, I am experiencing issues with logging into my Facebook account which was locked on February 19, [redacted]. I have followed the provided steps to unlock the account by submitting pictures of my ID card, driver's license, and bank card statements. Unfortunately, the response received states that I must provide an accepted form of ID matching the information on the account. The complication arises from the fact that the surname on my Facebook account is my former family name, as I changed it to Prasetio when I turned 20. The uploaded information contains a different surname. Fortunately, I still have access to both the mobile number and email linked to the account. Could you please assist in unlocking the account? Thank you.

My Facebook account has been disabled, and now I can't access it. This account holds precious childhood memories and moments with my son that I deeply cherish. I'm eager to recover those memories, and I promise to be more cautious if given the chance to regain access to my account. I suspect my account may have been hacked since it was disabled by Facebook. I've already submitted my passport for verification but haven't received any response. I also struggle with PTSD, making this situation even more challenging for me. My Facebook name is Lovely Unique, and I kindly request Facebook's assistance in resolving this matter. You can reach me via email at [redacted] or phone at [redacted].

I recently set up a donation page for my birthday fundraiser for the Leukemia/Lymphoma organization. I initially donated an amount and noticed that subsequent donations increased without my authorization. My friends questioned the legitimacy of the site, to which I explained that I used it before with minor issues that were resolved. However, when I tried to adjust the donation amount, it continued to increase on its own. I received calls from friends experiencing the same issue with their donations. This situation feels unfair and I am unsure how to address it since the organization's hands are tied as it is a fundraiser. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Pat Sears.

My Facebook account was hacked, and I managed to change my password. However, I'm now being prompted for a verification code from a generator, which I don't have access to. I suspect the hacker enabled 2-factor authentication and changed my phone number, as I'm not receiving texts. I've tried to verify my identity with my ID, but the process doesn't accept my maiden name, "Gwyn," and only my married name, "Campbell." I've had this account since [redacted], under my maiden name, and I don't want to create a new one because it holds valuable memories. The emails linked to the account are [redacted] and [redacted] I'd appreciate any assistance in regaining access to my account; this is my fifth attempt to seek help.

Yesterday, on 02/22/22, I received an email from Facebook informing me that my email and password had been reset. Since I work night shifts and was asleep when I saw this email, I immediately tried to recover my account by clicking on the "that's not me" option, which led me to a link for a login code. Unfortunately, the code had expired, and now I'm unable to access the page to request another code or use the code generator within Facebook. All I can do is attempt to enter my password. I suspect the individual responsible may be using a VPN as I have their IP address and email. I'm concerned and wondering if there is a way to regain access to my account. My name is Wesley Young, my profile is under Wexley Franklin Young, and my email is [redacted]

My Facebook account was hacked, and inappropriate photos were sent to my friends. Despite deleting my accounts and attempting to create a new one, I was blocked from joining again. I was surprised to see my cat icon on Facebook recently through Thunderbird email. I want all traces of my account removed from Facebook as I believed it was already deleted. I plan to try opening a new account with a different email address. My email address, [redacted], was hacked and used for Facebook accounts. Kindly assist me in resolving this issue as I am unsure of the next steps to take. Thank you, - L. Telfer.

I recently got a new Android phone and attempted to transfer my Facebook account and Messenger to the new device. I forgot my password but successfully reset it. However, upon trying to log in to Facebook and Messenger on the new phone, I kept getting a prompt to enter a code sent by text message, which I never received. I only got emails to reset the password, but no text codes. This issue is affecting other apps linked to my Facebook account that I can't use now. I also communicate regularly with my son in college through Messenger. It has been over 24 hours since I sought help from Facebook, and I am locked out of my old phone as well. I have valuable photos on my account, and I am worried about losing them.
