I attempted to verify my identity for a work from home position, but encountered issues. After inputting my information, the process kept redirecting me to the initial verification screen, leading to an error message about exceeding the time limit for data entry. Following this, I informed the employer of the problem, and they advised me to reach out to Experian to resolve the identity verification matter in order to proceed with the job application.

I'm James Bartlett (Bart) Nelson, and I've encountered three events that have negatively impacted my credit rating recently. Firstly, I had attempted to secure a home equity loan from America First Credit Union to pay off three credit balances in full in August, but the loan was delayed due to a document issue involving a "certificate of completion" versus a "certificate of occupancy." Consequently, I failed to pay off my bills with Citi Bank, Capitol One Cabelas, and PayPal. Secondly, my healthcare provider has not been coordinating with my secondary insurance, leading to recurring bills and a collection agency contact. Lastly, my daughter borrowed my America First Visa credit card last summer and missed a few payments, affecting my credit report adversely. I have since settled all outstanding payments to rectify these credit issues.

1. My spouse and I currently benefit from complimentary Experian credit monitoring due to the Anthem Blue Cross data breach from two years ago. The service is set to terminate in November [redacted]. I am considering signing up for Experian credit monitoring either before or at that time. However, when I attempted to register on Experian.com by entering my email and password, the website indicated, "This email is taken." I believe this might be linked to my existing account on anthem.experianidworks.com. Will I be able to create a new account with Experian, whether free or paid, using the same email once the Anthem account closes? I am hesitant to create a new email address unless it's necessary.
2. I would rather avail the four years of complimentary premium 3-bureau credit monitoring offered by Experian IDworks as part of the Equifax breach settlement, as outlined in the court's Final Order dated January 13, [redacted]. However, information from web blogs like consumer.ftc.gov suggests that no progress has been made as Equifax still has the option to appeal the court's ruling. Do you have any updates on this matter or if we can anticipate receiving the offered service?

I currently have basic free credit monitoring on anthem.experianIDworks.com which is set to expire in Nov [redacted]. When it expires, I am interested in switching to Experian monitoring, either the free version or one of their paid plans. However, when I try to create an account on experian.com with my current email address, it says "That address is taken." Is this due to the anthem-sponsored plan? Can I only open an account with a new email address before my current plan ends?
Ideally, I would like to have the premium monitoring service. My wife and I are part of the Equifax breach suit settlement, and according to a court order on 1-13-20, we are entitled to 4 years of free premium Experian 3-bureau monitoring. I checked Consumer.ftc.gov, but it seems nothing has progressed as Equifax might appeal. If there is a way to access that premium monitoring now, please advise.

I have been trying to unfreeze my credit report, but my previous User ID & PIN numbers are not being recognized. When I called your phone prompts, I ended up in voicemail instead of getting assistance. I unintentionally froze my credit report on the website when that was not my intention. After that, a new PIN was given to me so quickly that I couldn't remember or note it down. I am now requesting help from a real person to navigate through the website and phone prompts to access my credit information. I urgently need to get preapproved for a home loan, so this matter is time-sensitive for me.

My birthdate, username, and correct password are not entered correctly in your system. I have been charged membership fees for the last few months but cannot access my email alerts about my credit score improvement due to incorrect account information. My actual birthdate is 06/13/[redacted], not 04/13/[redacted]. My email is [redacted], and my password is Lightsaber747. The information you provided for my account is inaccurate. It is challenging to contact you by phone due to my work hours. Please update my account details promptly to resolve this issue.

I used to use the credit monitoring service from USAA until they stopped working with Experian. I recently noticed that I am still getting charged for the monthly fee. I tried to log into my account but couldn't access it. When I requested my user ID, I didn't receive the email. When I called and provided my SSN and zip code, I got a message saying they couldn't process my account. I need help resolving this issue.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my credit report. After logging in with my username and password, I am prompted to enter my SSN, date of birth, and street address. Subsequently, I encounter either an internal error page or a message indicating that the information is unavailable at the moment. The automated phone system's message directs me back to the login page, despite changing my password several times. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me with this issue. Thank you.

I have attempted multiple times to add a new credit card, as requested when trying to improve my credit score to [redacted]. However, each time I tried, I was only prompted to add a new credit card and was informed about 15 articles waiting in my account after paying a $24.99 bill. I am struggling to input my information correctly into the system and access my account. I am concerned if someone is hacking my account as this issue is new to me. My name is Richard T. Delaney, residing at [redacted] Mayflower Circle, Hanover, MA. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this dilemma.

I am currently trying to temporarily lift the freeze on my credit for the next two weeks. However, when attempting to do so online, neither of my saved 4-digit nor 10-digit PIN numbers are being accepted. The phone service also requires a PIN, and unfortunately, none of my numbers are being recognized. They have suggested mailing information, but this process will be too slow for my needs. I have been trying to reach a customer service representative over the phone without success.

I'm having trouble temporarily unfreezing my credit file with Experian. I can't bypass the automated phone system and am unable to do it online despite knowing my pin. The system is instructing me to send a letter with ample mailing time, which is not practical when trying to access credit quickly. Update 11/09/[redacted] - I'm still unable to reach a person at Experian over the phone. The automated system insists on a letter to unfreeze my credit, but this isn't workable as a temporary unlock needs specific dates. Even though I have my PIN, it seems like they want me to permanently unlock it for data sharing purposes.

I responded to your free credit report offer and was surprised to find that you have been charging my JetBlue credit card $21.95 every month since July 29, [redacted], without my authorization. This misleading practice needs to be addressed promptly. I request a refund for the unauthorized charges and no further deductions from my card. Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest. Thank you.

I discovered a credit inquiry by Petal Card/WebBank on my credit report. Following instructions from Web Bank on November 6th, [redacted], at 10:30 Eastern, I contacted Petal Card at 1+ [redacted]. A representative named Celina stated they have no information or file on me and claimed they did not generate the inquiry. As this can impact my credit score, I request the removal of this inquiry. I made it clear to Celina that I have no interest in obtaining a Petal card.

My wife has a Discover card that she uses for business purposes. A few years ago, Judy requested an additional card for my business and personal expenses, which I have used. However, my credit report now shows the debt on that card as mine, which is inaccurate. Discover confirmed yesterday that I have never been an owner of that card.
I need this error to be rectified promptly as it is affecting my efforts to improve my credit score. Can you please advise on how the corrected information will be shared with the other credit bureaus?
Thank you,
Jim

I am in the process of purchasing a home. The Loan Officer has attempted to access my credit report from Experian without success. Despite multiple tries to resolve the issue by reaching out to Experian, it was only recently that I managed to speak to your staff member. They mentioned that the name appearing on the report may be causing the problem, which is puzzling since my credit reports from TransUnion and Equifax were accessed without any issues. While the staff member assured me the problem was fixed, the Loan Officer just informed me that they are still unable to retrieve my credit report, halting the loan process. I urge for immediate resolution as my name matches all other identifying information correctly. This delay has been ongoing since Monday and is causing significant frustration for both the Loan Officer and myself.

My spouse and I have frozen our credit to prevent fraudsters from opening unauthorized accounts in our names. Our child is at the University of Pittsburgh, PA, and along with two roommates, is seeking an apartment for Fall [redacted]. Since my husband and I need to cosign, I realized they plan to decide on an apartment this week for the upcoming semester. I previously unfroze our credit when my husband applied for an American Airlines Visa card last year with no issues from Transunion and Equifax but encountered problems with Experian. I urgently need to lift our credit freeze to assist my daughter in securing the apartment. Your prompt help is appreciated.

Hello, I have reviewed my credit scores from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. My TransUnion score is [redacted], Equifax is [redacted], and Experian is eight. I have noticed that Experian still shows some of my 7 to 15-year-old bills that were not paid, while TransUnion and Equifax have removed them due to their age. One account with Portfolio/Amazon has been on my Experian report for approximately 15 years, unlike the other two agencies. Additionally, collections like CSD and accounts with Capital One and SYNCB/Amazon were removed by other agencies but remain on Experian, even though the debts are over seven years old. I am curious why Experian is not following the same protocol as TransUnion and Equifax in removing such old accounts. I would appreciate any insights on this inconsistency. Thank you for your assistance.

I encountered difficulties trying to unfreeze my Experian account online due to incorrect information provided in response to security questions. Despite being informed that I could manage the freeze online, I now must resort to written correspondence. I prefer to permanently unfreeze my account and sever ties with Experian's online services. The lack of accessibility to human support for problem-solving is disappointing. Please refrain from emailing; a call at [redacted] is necessary. I'm disheartened by the unresolved consumer complaints cycle within your customer service. Regards, James E. Windham Jr. [redacted] Volterra Ave, Daphne, AL [redacted].

I have identified unauthorized charges on my credit report that are not mine. Despite several attempts to reach out to your company, I have not received any response regarding these accounts. I requested verification and removal of these accounts as per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which mandates resolution within 30 days. I also asked for copies of the supporting documentation, but I have not received any information.
I am requesting that you either promptly remove the disputed accounts or provide me with the necessary documentation as required by law.

I recently attempted to temporarily lift the freeze on my account with Experian. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in reaching a live person and had to navigate through the automated voice system multiple times, encountering issues along the way. Eventually, I visited experian.com/creditfreeze to try and unfreeze my account online. However, I inadvertently provided my banking information for a security package, which was not my intention.
In the past, I could easily speak with a representative, but this time it was not possible. It's urgent for me to discuss this matter promptly as I am in the process of refinancing my mortgage, requiring access to my credit information.
I kindly request a prompt phone call at [redacted]. Your immediate assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Pauline (Polly) W.
