I have been a loyal Cricket subscriber for many years and have always been satisfied with their service. Recently, I decided to switch my home phone, TV cable, and internet services to Xfinity after my contract ended. However, I encountered an issue when trying to port my number over to Xfinity due to my sim card being provider locked. I am wondering if there is a way to resolve this and still keep my existing number. I have my account number and Cricket phone number ready, as well as the IMEI if needed. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I have been trying to contact you for a month to remove my son's phone from my plan. His phone is broken, he has a new service with a different company, and I don't want to keep paying for his line. I would like to cancel my service as my Cricket phone has either been lost or stolen. Despite speaking with a customer service representative over the phone twice and following the advice to visit the authorized Cricket retail location at [redacted] N. 24th St. in Omaha, Nebraska, I have been unsuccessful in deactivating the service either in person or over the phone. I have two lines on my account. One line was recently upgraded to a new phone, but I still have the old phone. A friend with the same service needs a temporary replacement, and I'd like to give them this old phone. Unfortunately, I can't remember the pattern lock on the phone to reset it. I'm hoping that customer service can access my account and unlock the phone, as it might still be listed as a prior device on our account.

My cellphone number, [redacted], was stolen on May 17th around 2pm. I was shocked to hear from Cricket that my line was ported out to another carrier, which I did not authorize. Despite reaching out to Cricket for help, they were unable to assist me, leaving me frustrated. The theft of my number led to unauthorized access to my bank accounts and emails, resulting in fraudulent charges on my Chase Freedom credit card and unauthorized transfers from my savings account, totaling $43,[redacted]. The situation quickly escalated into identity theft. Dealing with Cricket's customer service has only added to my stress. One representative even suggested I switch carriers promptly. When I tried to unlock my phone the following day, I was informed that my number could be re-ported, which is unacceptable. As the situation has become a legal matter with charges filed and search warrants pursued, I am eager to gather more information to address this violation and significant data breach.

I struggled three times to enter the correct PIN to lock my phone to prevent accidental calls, unaware it should have been either [redacted], [redacted], or [redacted]. Unfortunately, I exceeded attempts and now require the eight-digit PUK code. I spent the night seeking solutions online while your support was unavailable. To unlock my phone, could you assist or provide both the PIN and PUK? I acknowledge my error and vow not to tamper with security settings again. The time lost on this frustrating issue could have been avoided. I anticipate a lengthy wait to reach customer service but appreciate any help.

I bought a Cricket mobile hotspot called "Turbo." Initially, it worked well for only a few days to a week. Recently, it has been showing an error message claiming it is "temporarily unavailable" and advises to "check back later." Despite multiple restart attempts, the issue persists. I have refrained from contacting support, naively hoping for a self-resolution. Surprisingly, I have only utilized 75% of my data, so it should still be functional. Strangely, the hotspot connection does not even display in my WiFi settings.

I have an iPhone 11 that is only 6 months old. I've been a loyal customer of cricket wireless for over 3 years. Recently, when I tried to make an insurance claim for my daughter's phone, I discovered that my insurance had been canceled abruptly. This happened the day after I paid my bill, despite having a credit balance due to a situation with the Account Coverage Payment plan. In trying to transfer my number and add a new one, there was a mix-up causing my number to be ported out and my Account Coverage Payment to be lost. I've made various attempts to resolve these issues, visiting a store and contacting customer service, but I haven't received the help I need. I desperately need my daughter's iPhone 11 fixed, which I believe could be done for $29 as it was previously replaced at a higher cost. I'm frustrated that despite paying my bills diligently and dealing with these complications, I'm unable to use the phone to complete essential tasks for school. I spoke with a representative who attempted to unlock it remotely, but she is unable to complete the unlocking process through the Cricket app over Wi-Fi due to China's restrictions on international websites. She tried accessing the app in a Wi-Fi area, but the unlock links are not functioning. I recently had a frustrating experience with your customer service supervisor. After waiting for over an hour to speak to her, she declined to refund me for a phone I received in April that hasn't worked since. She also tried to blame me for the issue, which was discouraging. Due to recent seizures, I am unable to drive and had to expend significant time trying to resolve this matter over the phone, only to be treated poorly. I was instructed to get a new SIM card and visit a store. However, when I visited four different locations, they were closed earlier than advertised. The GPS inaccurately led me to Monroeville Mall instead of the correct store location nearby. When I called the store for assistance, the person refused to wait for me and was unkind, leading to distress that nearly triggered a seizure. This whole experience was unacceptable, and there is a need for better customer service in these situations.

Hello, I recently received an email notification from the Facebook team informing me that someone has created a Facebook account using my email without my permission. The same has happened with my AOL and Yahoo accounts. I am receiving numerous emails from unknown individuals that I have no association with. I am concerned about who these individuals are targeting using my email address. It is distressing to receive messages I have no connection to, including scams, fraud, and explicit content. I have noticed that the unauthorized users have manipulated my email address with additional symbols, letters, and numbers. This situation is causing me distress as I am being harassed and exposed to inappropriate content that goes against my beliefs. As a disabled veteran, I am deeply troubled by this ongoing issue. I kindly request that necessary actions be taken to address this violation and bring an end to this intrusive behavior. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. I am currently out of state and unfortunately lost my phone. I have been attempting to activate a new phone for three days now. Initially, there was a Sim card issue, and then when I tried to go to the store for help, they were not cooperative. When I reached out to chat support, they instructed me to call for assistance, but I have been unable to reach anyone over the phone. A store visit resulted in being told I needed to pay $90 for assistance. All I want is to set up my account as I have minutes on a card ready to use. I am just lacking a phone number to progress and really need to be able to contact home.

I made a $15 payment on your plan for the first week. The next week, I made another $15 payment, totaling $30. However, when I tried to make my final payment, I couldn't use my gift card as it required a zip code, ending my payment plan. Now, I'm being asked to pay a total of $90 for the phone, which seems excessive for an AT&T device. I would like clarification on why this increase in payment is happening.

My iPhone XR is not activating the service, and I am experiencing issues with making calls as they fail due to the lack of mobile networks. Customer support has not been able to resolve the problem despite their assurances that everything is working fine. I transferred my phone number from Boost Networks to add a line with Cricket Wireless. They mentioned that the transfer is still pending when I contacted Cricket support. Boost Networks has completed the account transfer to Cricket Wireless, and I am now just waiting for my service to be activated. However, I am still facing the same issue with failed calls and no mobile network connection.

My ex persuaded me to join his phone plan against my wishes. Although I didn't want to switch my long-held number, I did so because it was cheaper. He has now cut off my phone service whenever he feels like it. When I tried to transfer my number to a new carrier, he somehow prevented me from doing so. This isn't a Cricket number, and I'm baffled by how this could happen. I had everything ready for the transfer, but once he realized my intention, he changed the pin and set up a lock. I am extremely upset about this situation as I have many important connections tied to this number. It's unacceptable for a company to allow such behavior, particularly when it involves a non-Cricket number.

When I bought this phone, I was assured I could connect to my bank in Orland, California while in Mexico. However, I am facing a network connection error. The phone keeps showing a Wi-Fi calling setup is in progress message, even though I have a 1 line 5GB $30.00 plan. I am currently in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, and urgently need to resolve this issue to contact my bank in Orland. Once this is fixed, I plan to set up auto payment. I am having issues with my phone being puk locked. After a long wait on the phone with customer service, I tried their suggested codes multiple times without success. Eventually, they mentioned replacing my outdated phone through the warranty department, but I encountered obstacles due to a small crack on the device. I was directed to the insurance department, and after several more calls, I was advised to purchase a new sim card at a store. Unfortunately, the store did not offer standalone sim cards, only activation with a new purchase. The lack of clarity and knowledge from both the store and the phone customer service is frustrating. All I want is a working sim and the phone replacement promised to me initially.
