I would like to share my disappointing experience at your store today. The Asda on Holderness Road made me feel embarrassed during my shopping trip. I purchased items including baby formula, fruit, and vegetables using healthy start vouchers, which I frequently use and top up the remaining amount with cash. However, this time, I was treated poorly and made to feel like I was doing something wrong. The staff member at the self-checkout area made me feel like a criminal by checking my purchases and loudly discussing my use of vouchers. This behavior left me feeling disrespected and embarrassed. Healthy start vouchers are essential for me, especially during financially challenging times, and being treated this way was extremely upsetting. Due to my mental health concerns, I couldn't address this in person at the store. I kindly request that this issue is resolved promptly. Thank you.

My husband bought what he believed was [redacted] Windsor Blue Superkings Blue from your branch in Hemel Hempstead. He brought one of my packets to show the shop assistant, who found them in the cupboard, scanned them, and he paid. However, I discovered they are actually menthol, not what he requested. I plan to return them to the store for an exchange. I'm disappointed with this error and anticipate a smooth exchange process.

Good afternoon, I was expecting a delivery this morning between 7 am and 9 am at 6 Globe Close, Swanage, Dorset. The delivery was running 20 minutes late and the driver did not apologize or explain the delay, which was disappointing. After he left, I realized some items, including my frozen fruit, were incorrect as he did not provide a slip detailing the order. Due to the delay, I missed my prepaid gym class.
Overall, my experience today was unsatisfactory. Although I usually appreciate your customer service and products, I feel let down this time. I hope we can resolve this matter amicably. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Apologies for the inconvenience. - Holly

I recently visited Asda Eastlands in Manchester and encountered a situation where I slipped on a clear liquid on the floor. Unfortunately, there were no warning signs indicating the wet floor. Although I managed not to fall, my pants got stained with pink dots that resemble bleach, which I suspect might be the clear liquid on the floor at Asda. I am quite upset about this incident, as my pants are expensive and only a week old. I am seeking compensation for this matter as it could have been a dangerous situation, especially for my child who could have slipped as well. I kindly request a prompt resolution before escalating the issue to trading standards.

Around 7:30am on Saturday, the 23rd, I visited the Asda petrol station in Sutton in Ashfield. While walking to the kiosk to pay, I slipped on spilled diesel, injuring my knee, hip, and shoulder. Despite being asked if I wanted to wait and speak to a manager, the staff mentioned it could take up to an hour. Unable to spare that time as I was en route to a job, I paid for my fuel and left. I have been in pain since and am having difficulty with stairs and lifting my right leg. Reflecting on the advice given, I feel manipulated and am considering seeking legal advice regarding the incident.

I visited Asda Toryglen in Glasgow after midnight with my partner due to anxiety and found no staff available at the checkout, only being directed to self-scan by an employee. This led to a distressing experience as I prefer not to use self-scan due to medical issues. The staff member's behavior was confrontational when we asked for assistance with our purchase at 2:15 am. I would appreciate clarification on whether self-scan is the only option after midnight at this location as it is challenging for me to self-scan a large grocery order. Thank you.

Hello,
I recently visited the Asda store in Parkgate, Shirley, and I have noticed that the self-service checkouts are very unreliable. Despite scanning products, the machine fails to register them properly, as it did not reflect on the receipt. On March 12th, after the supervisor checked, the issue persisted, and I suspect I was overcharged. The same malfunction occurred on March 13th, and after raising this concern to staff, I was advised to file a formal complaint at customer service. The staff explained that a software update was responsible for the inefficiency, causing the self-service system to be even more problematic. It would be beneficial for Asda to address this ongoing issue.
To end on a positive note, a supervisor kindly provided me with £3 in vouchers due to the inconvenience of a potential overcharge. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,
Mr. M Wade

Hello,
I purchased a microwave from your store less than 6 months ago. Recently, while using it, the microwave started to smoke, spark, and almost caught fire. We immediately turned it off and unplugged it due to the dangerous situation. My mother attempted to return the item, but since she doesn't have the receipt after nearly 6 months, she was informed she couldn't.
I believe that according to the consumer goods act, any faulty and potentially harmful product should be eligible for a refund. I would like clarification on why we are being denied a refund for this faulty item, which poses a danger to us and our home.
I am reaching out before taking further action to address this issue.
Thank you,
Gabriella

I visited the cafe at Asda Shoeburyness around 11 a.m. and was disappointed with the food quality and service. My breakfast omelette took 20 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was of poor quality. The tomato was uncooked, the mushrooms undercooked, and the omelette was microwaved to the point of being solid. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that it was prepared the same way as my friend's, which was softer, and that I would have to wait in line if I wanted it changed. Due to time constraints, I had to settle for the properly cooked beans on the plate. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but was informed there was no manager available to address my concerns. I would appreciate your feedback. - V.B.

I have been attempting to contact ASDA customer service regarding an issue with my recent shopping order. I am seeking a refund because the order was handled poorly. The items were not ready for collection, many were substitutions not communicated to me, and some items were missing. The store mentioned they would refund me if there were mistakes as they couldn't check the items themselves. Despite this, I have not received any follow-up, and I am growing frustrated. The payment is pending in my account, and I simply want a refund. I even shared a screenshot of a technical issue with the ASDA app on the website. My order number is [redacted]5, and my name is Ashlea M.

I visited the Coleraine store on April 1st and got overcharged by £1 for my coffee. When I went to the counter, the lady was busy assisting an elderly man, and another staff member was with another customer. The lady serving the man asked me to wait and moved me to another spot. I explained the overcharge, and she returned the pound without a smile or apology for the inconvenience. Her attitude was unpleasant as she rushed through giving me my double up card. I left feeling dissatisfied and unsure about shopping in this store again. I usually enjoy shopping at Asda but felt compelled to share my experience. Thank you. TR. I recently went to collect a parcel from Asda in Slough. To reach the collection desk, I had to walk through the shop. The lady working there retrieved my heavy parcel and a young man assisted in carrying it to the counter. Afterward, I was instructed to go to the front of the store to get a trolley. I found this customer service experience quite disappointing. When I expressed my frustration, the lady explained she was not allowed to assist further. She did offer to call someone to bring me a trolley, which happened after about 10 minutes. I was left wondering if Asda treats its staff poorly or if they lack training in customer service. I was taken aback by the lack of basic human decency displayed by the employees. While I understand limitations in helping with heavy lifting, the refusal to even inquire about assistance was disheartening. This experience has left me feeling hesitant about shopping at Asda in the future.

I visited your Basildon store to exchange a cardigan I received for my birthday. Since it was a gift, I didn't have the receipt with me. The assistant I spoke to mentioned that exchanges without a receipt were no longer allowed, citing concerns about fraudulent returns. The comment was quite embarrassing and disappointing as I was only seeking an exchange or a gift card, not a refund. I feel let down by the customer service experience and find it disheartening that the staff are trained to respond to customers in such a manner.

I visited an Asda petrol station in Carlisle at around 16:30 on 19/4/19. After inserting my card, following the on-screen instructions, and entering my PIN, the machine displayed 'PIN accepted' but did not dispense any fuel. Despite waiting, I had to press the red button to cancel the transaction as no fuel was dispensed. Although I initially saw a charge of £1 on my bank account, no fuel was received. I returned to the Asda at 18:30, used a different pump, and this time successfully pumped around £40 of petrol into my car (AV64 ABU). The first attempt resulted in a £28 charge, but I believe the fuel might have been taken by the person in a black Range Rover behind me. I am requesting a refund of the original £28 charge.

I reported a driver who caused damage to my house on 20 April, and the incident number is [redacted]67. I was informed that I would receive a phone call, but I have not been contacted yet. I have CCTV footage of the incident showing the driver reversing into the front of my house, inspecting the damage, and driving off after checking his vehicle. I need prompt assistance and someone to reach out to me urgently.

Hello, I visited the Asda store in Poole at around 7:00-7:10 am on Tuesday, April 23, [redacted]. I parked near the main front doors. As I walked towards them, I fell and a kind person helped me up. Upset and shaken, I asked a staff member for customer care but was told to call the store. Despite trying multiple times, I couldn't reach anyone. I left after 10 minutes, noticing a dislodged grate where I fell, revealing a hole. I hurt my elbow and knee, aggravating a previous injury. I'm worried about the safety hazard and the difficulty in contacting the store. I believe the CCTV footage outside may show my fall. Concerned for others' safety, I hope the grate gets fixed promptly.
Best regards,
S. H.

I recently received my online order, but upon inspection, I noticed several mistakes. I had ordered a family-size Shana Paratha with 20 pieces, but received a substitute with only 10 pieces. For KTC chickpeas, I requested 24 white chickpeas and 12 kala chana; however, I got 21 white chickpeas and 9 kala chana instead. Additionally, I ordered 2 blue and 2 green In-cistern Toilet blocks but only received 1 of each color. I would appreciate it if the missing items from my order could be sent to me. It seems that I have been charged the full amount for my order.
Thank you,
Shelly

I frequently shop at my local Asda in Bideford, Devon. Today, while shopping, I bought two packets of Ms. Black Country pork scratching. When I scanned them at the self-checkout, the screen displayed "unknown item" and required assistance. Even after the assistant checked, they couldn't locate a price in the store. Consequently, I was charged £1 per packet, as it was decided to charge the same price as a larger bag of pork crunch that costs £1 per bag, even though the bags I bought were much smaller. I left feeling disappointed and hope other customers don't face the same situation. Thank you. - Mrs. W.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I contacted customer services approximately two weeks ago. I had planned a party for Easter Saturday, but unfortunately, it did not go as expected, and our Saturday was ruined. The problem arose when I ordered trays of sandwiches, assuming I would receive them since they were in my basket, but later found out they were out of stock despite no indication on the website. Similarly, I had ordered peeled potatoes for a dish due to a past stroke that makes peeling difficult, but they were missing from my order as well. I was supposed to collect my order between 1-3 pm, but after no communication, we picked it up after 4 pm. This experience greatly upset me, and I am contemplating not shopping at Asda again, although I hope to continue. Thank you, Mrs. Mavis Sheridan. Order Number: [redacted].

I visited Asda Weston Super Mare with my husband around 2:30 after having lunch for a few items. We used the self-service checkout, and the lady overseeing them commented, "I remember my days with dungarees. I wore them for all my pregnancies, and I had four." I felt quite shocked by her statement and didn't say anything at the time. I want to clarify that I am not pregnant at all, and her assumption has upset me. I take care in how I dress and present myself, and her assumptions were unwarranted. I understand that nothing may come of this feedback, but I believe it's important cashiers don't make incorrect assumptions about customers. They aren't aware of everyone's circumstances, and comments like these can be hurtful.
