Good afternoon, I am reaching out to contest a booking charged to the credit card of Ms. J.C. in the amount of Php 14,[redacted].70 under booking No. [redacted]64. Unfortunately, I was unable to cancel prior to the check-in date due to a busy schedule. As a result, we could not check in at the hotel due to the situation in Hong Kong. I kindly request a refund for the unused booking as per international consumer law. I have contacted the hotel who advised me to reach out to Agoda directly. On September 11, [redacted], I tried to book a hotel room through Agoda for $64.84 after finding their best rate on Google. I used their app to reserve a room, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that they were fully booked since noon that day. I believe it is fair to request a full refund for the booking ID [redacted]14 charged to my Visa Vanilla debit card. I am confused as to why I was allowed to book and pay for a room that had been sold out for hours. Agoda's inefficiency in this matter has caused me a significant amount of wasted time and frustration. I urge them to promptly refund my money to avoid losing me as a customer in the future due to this unacceptable experience.

I recently spoke to my bank regarding a payment of 5,[redacted].70 that was charged to my credit card for a hotel booking at A-Inn Hong Kong from October 16-21, [redacted]. The payment was made on September 23 at 10:14 AM using the email address [redacted] and the booking was under my name Haydee Martin. It appears that there was an error in your app as I have not received any confirmation for my booking despite the payment being deducted. I kindly request assistance in addressing this matter promptly as I have been waiting for several days with no resolution. Due to this inconvenience, I would like to cancel my booking as it is unfair for me to pay without receiving any services in return. I hope this issue can be resolved soon.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the Agoda phone app due to its user-unfriendly design, making it easy for users to make operational mistakes. On 17/9/[redacted], I mistakenly booked a hotel (Booking No# [redacted]00) through the Agoda app, which I was trying for the first time. Despite my attempts to cancel immediately through Agoda and the hotel, the booking was confirmed and payment was made. I have provided feedback to Agoda and contacted the hotel, but due to the hotel's cancellation policy, I could not get a refund. While I admit the error was mine, the app's lack of user-friendliness contributed to my mistake. Unlike booking on a computer, the Agoda app is too easy to use and confirm payments without clear indication. I am deeply disappointed in this experience and appreciate your attention to this matter. I made a booking on the Agoda app for 04/10/19 at Northam Suites Penang. I wanted to reserve only one room, but after paying through Maybank2u, an error appeared on the next page. I assumed the transaction didn't go through since I usually don't receive such messages after a successful booking. So, I tried booking again. Later, I found out I had booked the room twice and was charged twice. This is the first time I've faced this issue with Agoda. After a successful booking, why did I receive a transaction error asking me to try again? Hello, I made a booking with Agoda (ID: [redacted]89) for Chateau Elan at The Vintage Hunter Valley, intending to check in on October 3 and check out on October 4. I had specifically requested a rollaway bed for my son. However, my final booking shows a check-in date of October 7 and a check-out date of October 8, which is not what I had originally requested. I booked a hotel stay from October 10th to 12th, [redacted], with the understanding that I could cancel for free until October 2nd and pay at the property. I accidentally made a double booking. While filling out the booking form, the first attempt seemed to have timed out before I could confirm, so I proceeded with another transaction. Later, I discovered the initial booking was actually confirmed. I would like to cancel the first booking I made on October 2, [redacted], for a stay on October 3. The total amount has been charged, and I need assistance with the cancellation.

Dear Agoda Customer Service, I've been a loyal customer for years, with over 70 bookings on your platform. Today, at Pludhaya Resort and Spa in Ayutuyyah, Thailand, there was an issue with my reservation. I paid for a £37 room, but they tried to check me into a £15 room. Despite showing proof on my phone, they didn't believe me, making me feel uncomfortable and at fault. This isn't the luxury experience I expected from Agoda. I would appreciate a refund or gift card due to this unpleasant incident. It's also been challenging to contact Agoda's customer service. I recently made a hotel reservation at Parkroyal Hotel through the Agoda website on October 2nd. I noticed that my credit card was charged twice. The issue occurred when I was browsing hotel prices on your site and attempted to book a room at Parkroyal. Despite receiving a failed booking notice stating that the room had already been booked by someone else before I confirmed, the system did not update this information immediately. I'm currently assisting a guest from Agoda at our hotel. The virtual card that was initially provided for payment has been mistakenly replaced with the guest's credit card. I've made several attempts to contact Agoda's hotline to rectify this issue, but the automated system hung up on me as I lacked their company-specific travel number. Unfortunately, my emails to Agoda's customer service and business support have gone unanswered. I urgently need to retrieve the Agoda virtual card to proceed with the reservation.

I encountered an issue with my initial booking (booking no: [redacted]76) where the payment page indicated a transaction failure and session expiration after I made the reservation for one room. Subsequently, I proceeded to book two rooms (order number: [redacted]04). Upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that both bookings had been processed, resulting in a double charge for three rooms when I only needed two. The situation arose due to a technical glitch on the payment page, displaying session expiration/payment failure prompts, leading to an inadvertent duplicate booking. I did not utilize this booking at all, and I have already informed the hotel staff about the technical issue encountered during the reservation process.

I received misleading images of the hotel when I made my booking. The actual rooms are drastically different and unsatisfactory with no beds and limited space to move around. As a travel blogger, I am extremely disappointed and considering legal action against your company for deceiving customers in this manner. I have tried contacting your customer service numbers without success, leading me to believe this is a scam. I demand a full refund within 48 hours to avoid further action. I will not tolerate this mistreatment of female travelers and will pursue legal action if necessary to prevent others from being similarly misled.

It was very frustrating to arrive at the hotel and discover that my name was not on the booking list, leading me to find alternative accommodation.
