How Do I Cancel a Recurring Bill Payment with TD Bank?

You can cancel a recurring bill payment with TD Bank using the app. Log in to your account and go to Bills. Look for the recurring payment you wish to cancel and select it. Keep in mind that all future payments will also be canceled. Tap Cancel to cancel the payment and wait for the confirmation number.

It's easy to cancel a recurring bill payment using the TD app. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the TD app and log in to your account. Choose the Bills button found on the home screen. Keep scrolling down until you see Bills and tap the button. 
  2. Under the Payment Activity section, you'll see the last three scheduled or paid bills. Select the scheduled payment you wish to cancel and skip to Review and Confirm section. Tap View All if you can't see the scheduled payment in the Activity List. 
  3. After selecting the payment to cancel, review the information and tap Cancel Bill Payment found on the screen. Keep in mind that all future payments will be canceled as well. 
  4. Click Cancel to successfully cancel the scheduled payment.
  5. Wait for the confirmation number.

Editing a Scheduled Bill Payment 

If you wish to just edit a scheduled bill payment, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account on the TD Bank app. 
  2. Select Bills and tap View All. You'll see a list of all your scheduled payments. 
  3. Tap on the payment you wish to edit and select Edit found in the top right corner. 
  4. Update the information and tap Continue to review. You can always tap back if you made a mistake. 
  5. Tap Update Payment
